WOW...!! Absolutely wonderful to listen to! Very intricate and interwoven... typical Bach!! Never heard anything like this as a sax quartet! Bravo gentlemen! Thanks Lovehabanera for posting!
Ive heard many a great sax quartets in my days, Ive been part of couple. Some played classical, some played contempary music, hell one played country. This quartet is the best sounding sax quartet I have ever heard.
Alonso Toro
Superb. As an amateur saxophone player, I think that a good classical sound should have a hint of clarinet. This applies here, particularly to the lovely alto sound.
I just returned from a local saxophone quartet concert in which one of the pieces they tried to play was Bach's Little Fugue in G Minor. It was very awkward. I felt compelled to come home and search RUclips for something fine like this. Wow is right!
All of their tones are absolutely full and rich. Absolutely fantastic. Could listen to them all day.
It's like silk
Best Baritone sound I've ever heard. Couldn't imagine the rich elegant sound that fella would create on a Bass saxophone.

Who knew! Listening to a great sax quartet play Bach is becoming one of my favorite ways of listening to Bach. Surprise!
Bari, Bari... my instrument... all great musicians!!
Ils sont français! vive la france, vive le saxophone ;)
Wow !! Great playing and wonderful sound ! Congratulations !
What a fantastic quartet! Bravo gentlemen!
Now THIS is perfection. I'm a jazz fan but Gunther Schuller turned me on to Classical, especially Bach.
I've noticed that many jazz musicians have Bach, Debussy and Stravinsky as their favorite classical composers.
hehe Stravinsky... he wrote something quite "interesting" to say the least
*THE RITE OF SPRING*
It's the third movement from the Italian Concerto BWV971
Som de nível espetacular. Congratulações !

c'è il sax soprano che sembra un Oboe per la raffinatezza del suono!
