John's Children / London 1998: 'Smashed, Blocked'

John's Children perform at the Notre Dame Ballroom, London (Feb 21st 1998) in a benefit concert for drug-addicted nuns. This tear-jerking ballad, the first of three encores, describes the average tragic day of such a nun, and is sung in the key of Z.
Apparently the pop kids (and nuns) of the day used to like this sort of stuff back in the Fifties. Well, the quality was better, you see. They're all taking our jobs. Hang the lot of 'em. Bleedin' Carmelites.
