Both are beautiful and I like the fashion aspect of the Silver Wedding stamps, but I prefer and put the Jubilee stamps first because their designs are more integrate and interesting.

The Silver Jubilee for me, The 1948 Silver Wedding, although superb looking stamps, but including a very high value in each set, certainly tried to cash in on the post war boom in stamp collecting,
where as the 35 Jubilee,have that pre . war style and end of Empire elegance

I prefer the 1035 silver Jubilee issues because of the many varieties. If the stamp is so well produced that no errors or accidents exist then the collection will have to expand into postal history. Interesting but having both varieties and postal history is my choice.
