Ma'am for MCQ we were advised that we have to write the option and the statement of that option as well
Otherwise marks would be cut.

4:20 most teachers have told us to write the answer down along with the option. Ex: (c)conc.HNO3
Even the answer sheets that have been revealed have options properly written so i wouldnt recommend risking writing options only, the teacher checking might not consider it.

@User_7267 ma'am for the assertion reason of carboxyl group, how can we say that carboxylic group "increases" electron density at meta position?? It's an electron withdrawing group by identity and the electrophile attacks at meta position because it withdraws electrons from meta, the least. The electrophile has no other option but to attack there. Shouldn't the answer have been option c??

But mam our teachers said that we must write the whole correct option in MCQ and even in assertion reason because it's easy for the evaluator to check. Otherwise it might be possible that our marks are deducted.
