It’s good you showed that a makeover is a messy process and didn’t edit out the clutter and mess that you sometimes have to go through to get the result you want. Some content creators hide that part but it’s good for people to see that it’s work and sometimes inconvenient but worth it in the end!
I love the staircase with the green color ❤I would paint the walls green too, with the trees on it in dark brown and lighter green leaves. And fairy’s on them with deepest purple and light blue, and a moon shining above them, and sparkles around them. If you some day move out, you can all paint it white again. The world needs more magic 🪄 and the wooden cabinet is so much better!love your antique findings 😍the bureau is so much better in green😍ohh the gold looks stunning❤

I'm so glad you did this video. Since my hubby passed away a couple if years, I have been feeling lost as to who I am now. I'm definitely a Crone now so what was joyful in decorating before doesn't suit me anymore. Not sure where to look, but I definitely need more green. There's too much beige in here. My power colour is purple. Especially a regal dark purple. I inherited the house from my late hubby who didn't like to change much as it was his grandma's house, his mom grew up in. The current boyfriend who lives with me doesn't get anything about me so he's uncertain about much of what I do, so he no help lol. But as deep grief is waning, I am really feeling like I need a change that really reflects my personality. I still have stuff in boxes from when I moved in 6 years ago. Today I started emptying the 55 gallon fish tank into smaller bowls. I love having plants in water and this is a way to keep some of my late hubby's fish without the work of a big tank. Plus it's less noise. I'm very attached to Fae energy. I think that Goth, in it's rich colours could work for me. I have a live for books, as well as cottage core. I want to bring more life into an home that has seen way too much sadness in the past 4 years. However, I am not sure how to make all this come together. I do love witch core as well. As creative as I am, I seem to not be able to settle on any one direction to start. My boyfriend is styless to say the least. Rather minimalist and contemporary if anything. Don't want to alienate him, but I do need to express my artistic personality. Can anyone help me?

My favorite little decor was the 3 drawer tiny jewelry box and the green glass repurposed candle jars. What gorgeous colors. As a crafter, I can't live without my Rub and Buff. Its a game changer.

i love these ideas. i have been very busy recreating a space to practice art. i am trying to reduce the supply clutter which tends to be lots of yarn, fabric, paints, brushes, pencils, etc. and i also hoard way too many books. i agree, this rearranging is perpetual because there is always something to improve or to change with changes in life. we need environments that grow with us. right now, mine has a prairie fire crabapple tree, blooming. A very real, beautiful tree that I am waiting to plant when it's not so rainy.

I have four; a black one for Halloween, a white one for Christmas, a terra cotta one that is a round house with holes for windows, and a dark red one for fall. I dare say you’d like my tiny dark enchanted green forest cottage. It’s got a dark witchy, vampire, antique, goth, forest look and feel. I have many candelabras, including 4 tall floor ones too covered in faux ivy. I have branches from the forest in pretty much every corner and on some walls too covered in faux ivy. All my furniture is either old or genuine antiques. To top it off I live in a forest 💚 oh BTW your candelabra (like all of mine) is wrought iron 🖤 Love what you did with the staircase, bureau, book shelf and mirror. The green ties it all in beautifully 💚I’m not a fan of light and white though 😉

It’s the dominant colour in my home, too. And houseplants! It’s good you showed that a makeover is a messy process and didn’t edit out the clutter and mess that you sometimes have to go through to get the result you want. Some content creators hide that part but it’s good for people to see that it’s work and sometimes inconvenient but worth it in the end!

I love the staircase with the green color ❤I would paint the walls green too, with the trees on it in dark brown and lighter green leaves. And fairy’s on them with deepest purple and light blue, and a moon shining above them, and sparkles around them. If you some day move out, you can all paint it white again. The world needs more magic 🪄 and the wooden cabinet is so much better!love your antique findings 😍the bureau is so much better in green😍ohh the gold looks stunning❤

I'm so glad you did this video. Since my hubby passed away a couple if years, I have been feeling lost as to who I am now. I'm definitely a Crone now so what was joyful in decorating before doesn't suit me anymore. Not sure where to look, but I definitely need more green. There's too much beige in here. My power colour is purple. Especially a regal dark purple. I inherited the house from my late hubby who didn't like to change much as it was his grandma's house, his mom grew up in. The current boyfriend who lives with me doesn't get anything about me so he's uncertain about much of what I do, so he no help lol. But as deep grief is waning, I am really feeling like I need a change that really reflects my personality. I still have stuff in boxes from when I moved in 6 years ago. Today I started emptying the 55 gallon fish tank into smaller bowls. I love having plants in water and this is a way to keep some of my late hubby's fish without the work of a big tank. Plus it's less noise. I'm very attached to Fae energy. I think that Goth, in it's rich colours could work for me. I have a live for books, as well as cottage core. I want to bring more life into an home that has seen way too much sadness in the past 4 years. However, I am not sure how to make all this come together. I do love witch core as well. As creative as I am, I seem to not be able to settle on any one direction to start. My boyfriend is styless to say the least. Rather minimalist and contemporary if anything. Don't want to alienate him, but I do need to express my artistic personality. Can anyone help me?

My favorite little decor was the 3 drawer tiny jewelry box and the green glass repurposed candle jars. What gorgeous colors. As a crafter, I can't live without my Rub and Buff. Its a game changer.

i love these ideas. i have been very busy recreating a space to practice art. i am trying to reduce the supply clutter which tends to be lots of yarn, fabric, paints, brushes, pencils, etc. and i also hoard way too many books. i agree, this rearranging is perpetual because there is always something to improve or to change with changes in life. we need environments that grow with us. right now, mine has a prairie fire crabapple tree, blooming. A very real, beautiful tree that I am waiting to plant when it's not so rainy.

OMG my mom had a photo tree like that when I was little! And I ADORE lanterns of all kinds. I have four; a black one for Halloween, a white one for Christmas, a terra cotta one that is a round house with holes for windows, and a dark red one for fall. I dare say you’d like my tiny dark enchanted green forest cottage. It’s got a dark witchy, vampire, antique, goth, forest look and feel. I have many candelabras, including 4 tall floor ones too covered in faux ivy. I have branches from the forest in pretty much every corner and on some walls too covered in faux ivy. All my furniture is either old or genuine antiques. To top it off I live in a forest 💚 oh BTW your candelabra (like all of mine) is wrought iron 🖤 Love what you did with the staircase, bureau, book shelf and mirror. The green ties it all in beautifully 💚I’m not a fan of light and white though 😉
