Would you recommend this as a weekend phone for someone that already has the 12 pro max but wants a smaller phone when cycling and running around town?
Love the IPhone 13 mini. It’s such a pleasure to use a smaller size phone. I love how it’s so much more easier to use use and it’s portability. I’m glad to make the switch from a large phone.
Always take leaks and rumors with a gallon of salt, but it seems the 13 Mini will be the last Mini, again according to leaks. Instead the 14 will offer two sizes, 6.1 and 6.7, just like the Pros.

I think apple should apply ipad mini strategy on iphone mini, if they're concern about the iphone mini sales. It's not regularly updated, but once every 2 or 3 years it get updated.

Me too. I got the 13 mini yesterday. I like my ‘16 SE better. So much more efficient with the SE. The 13 mini puts the control center in the top right corner and makes it feel like a big phone. I may even return my mini. The SE is just so much more fun to use.
I’m using the 1st gen SE too, it’s 4 years old! People keep asking me why am I not changing me phone but they don’t understand how precious this phone really is, how much easy it is to use a phone which can be operated by one hand absolutely easily. Nowadays it has become a trend to buy phone every year but people don’t even think if they need it or they just like it. They should figure out their needs and then choose the phone, not just search the web, find the best phone and buy it.
I too am still using my original iPhone SE! My battery is still at 83% after 5 years! No camera bump. The mini actually seems too big to me but I expect I’ll have to eventually upgrade to the mini when my original SE eventually dies. But for now, party on!

Hey Nick! BTW then cameras are not diagonal because they felt like it, its because of the size of the sensor shift technology in the camera that takes up so much space. it would not fit if it was all the way to the side vertical like the 12.

I'm trying to find someone who can definitively say that the 13 Mini can get through the day on moderate usage; nothing too heavy, just typical video watching and web browsing use. I tried that with the 12 Mini, but returned it after it failed to make it. I want this to be able to be my daily driver for its pocketability and such, but the battery is the one variable that could make or break it. I do know that yes, it depends on how much you use it, so the word definitive may be asking a bit much. Just trying to ascertain if this one has a decent improvement over the 12 Mini.
Again..they didn’t do the vertical lenses to separate them from the 12..the new camera modules are a lot bigger on the inside so to make them fit better they turned them. It was that or make the bump A whole lot bigger.
I just got mine today and (don’t laugh) it’s a sweet upgrade from my iPhone 7 I was using. I don’t switch phones UNLESS necessary. My iPhone 7 finally gave out on me due to storage. I am a happy camper with my iPhone 13.

I don't have anything that I can plug that USB cable into currently. So after buying the premium brand, I have to buy a wall plug or wireless charger and then buy an adapter or new headphones too. if steve jobs was still alive, iphone mini would be the only size available as he was a firm believer in one handed usage for phones.
