I was really interested in what you had to say and didn't have the urge to click off of the video, thank you!
Good video. Just one note is that you jumped quickly about how to do a screen shot at 2:02, which I use to track my finances instead of creating a full PDF every time. I actually found out how to do it when I was in a chat session with a Sprint Tech that was helping me set up my phone and I wanted to show him something about my Wi-Fi connection but I had no clue of how to make a screen shot since the old way I was use to was with the Home button. The tech told me that while holding the Power/Function button on the right side of the phone, press the UP Volume button on the left side, then you get the same screen to crop, label and save the shot to photos. I found out that you have to make a quicker movement than before to get the function to work. After learning this feature, I figured out on my on that holding the Power/Function button and the DOWN Volume button brings up the Power Off screen.
I switched from 11 pro max to that one, but with 256gb.... the trade in from ATT was = to the cost of the phone... no brainer! I just had to pay sales tax.
my favorite iphone is the 4s.. i had 2nd thoughts switching from bigger phones to the 13mini coz i might regret it and miss the bigger screen of my 11 promax. but on dec8, i switched from 11 pro max 256 to 13mini 128.. i love it! bye bye heavy bulky phones! it is so handy! my hands does not hurt anymore..

I’ve been using 12pro since it came out but the size and weight always bugged me. Just switched to 13mini and have damn nearly forgotten about my 12pro. For power I’m ok with giving it a 30min boost at 20W and then also have a MagSafe battery pack should the need arise.
Could you please make a video about how to set up the handwriting keyboard? I type slow but I can write fast and I wanted to know how to do it and I cannot figure it out for nothing.
Update. I have purchased the mini 13 today. Saw a lot of videos and took a leap of faith. Honestly im having mixed feelings. One hand i miss the bigger screen of my 8 plus and on the other hand the phone feels so beautiful and compact. I guess i will wait for the 14 next year and switch back to the larger screen.
It’s 5.5” on 8 Plus against 5.4” on 13 Mini, however it feels smaller on 13 Mini maybe due to smaller case size and mini is 30% lighter. I’ve switched from 8 plus, still owning both of them.
I switched to the "13 mini" from an "iPhone 7" and the screen size is the same because it's Edge to Edge without the Home Button; from side to side and top to bottom.
I am coming from a 7 plus and this is exactly my concern because I want to go for 13 mini so badly! I like the larger screen of 7 plus as I feel it’s more comfortable for heavy tasks. Does the 13 mini feel too compact for typing, editing..basically content-driven tasks?
@@gayatri9438 yes it does feel little cramped while typing honestly after 5 days i feel like the mini is growing over me. I suggest you visit a store and use the phone in your Hand for a few minutes. When I first started setting up my phone it gave me 2 choices, "Primary" and "Travel". It's a good that you are asking which one to choose because I selected both and the Carrier Network wouldn't function. If this will be your phone for Every Day use then you want to choose "Primary" and there's a few settings where it asks you to make a choice between the two. •In the Cellular settings: "Cellular Data" select Primary. • "Default Voice Line" select Primary • "Cellular Plans / Cellular Plan Label" select Primary and Turn On This line. NOTE: It might take a while when you change a setting to detect your phone number. Make sure it's there before going to a next setting. Also, about your phone calls and messages to other iPhone users showing as Green. This is the indication for Android phones and means your iPhone settings are off. • In the "Messages" settings, select "iMessage" and right below that it has the option for "Send & Receive" - Your phone number would be showing there.
After learning this feature, I figured out on my on that holding the Power/Function button and the DOWN Volume button brings up the Power Off screen.
you can also use the assist button function and tap it twice to make a screenshot instead of pressing buttons all at once. and its quicker too!
That is so helpful. I’m actually gonna switch from iPhone 12 Pro to this iPhone 13 Mini Starlight 128gb. I was waiting for this!
Really I was also thinking same 😃
I switched from 11 pro max to that one, but with 256gb.... the trade in from ATT was = to the cost of the phone...
I may be too late, but tbh, I'm obsessed with the iPhone 13 Mini right now. lol. I'm currently using the Redmi Note 7 and I've had it for almost 4yrs now, and I'm having issues with it so I'm planning to buy iPhone 13 Mini. Good call? or bad call?
Great call
same here buddy
Good call
I love my iPhone 13 mini, I would 100% recommend this over the normal 13.
Thank you so much. You have allowed me to learn more on how to use my Iphone mini 13 than any other site I have been to on RUclips. Really great learning to use information. Thanks again.
I used to rock an iPhone SE back in the day. I’m glad I came back to apple with my 13 mini. I’ll have to move on eventually and find another premium compact phone
Thank you! As an old geezer who loves simple explanations, you rock!
Finally having a similar feeling when I used to have my 4s
Just got one, and it's a switch from android, so this video is very helpful, and I'm glad you also go through basic things like the buttons and swipes.
Iphone 13 Mini, just feels so right
Will be looking forward to my first i phone - an i phone 13 after being a android user. Your video was very informative and will make adapting to this phone so much easier. Thank you.
Wow, that was a great overview! I just got my 13 mini, and this was very helpful. I upgraded from a 1st gen iphone SE, because I prefer the ease and portability of the smaller phones. Really impressed with the processor speed, display, and features of the 13 mini. Thanks for putting this informative video together.
I also have iPhone SE 1st gen, recently the battery got really bad and I'm thinking of updating it to iPhone 13 mini.
I'm still on the SE but thinking to upgrade, does the screen feels bigger?
Thank you. Just upgraded from an iPhone 8 and had no clue how to use this new one 😂
I planned to buy Pro because of camera but in the end I bought mini. No regrets at all, it’s better than I expected.
I am an Apple fan but I just don’t understand why they can’t add touch id to the side or back of the phone. To make things worse they already have the technology on the ipad.
Maybe they have not figured a way to make it unfixable by 3rd party yet as Face ID is.
A desired feature? That will come in 2 or 3 new purchases and model years.
just got my 13 mini today and i love it so far. it's really similar in size to my last phone (6s) and it's definitely a lot nicer looking and faster! i had a couple problems at the beginning but i got all of those solved. sadly, the workers at the store i went to left a little speck of dirt on the screen before putting on the screen protector and they didn't fix it because there was 2 mins till closing:(
Does it feel smaller or bigger in your hand compared to the 6s? I’m thinking about switching
@@icequeen2778 to me it feels pretty much the same, maybe even a little bit lighter. the size is almost identical. not much differences with the looks other than the camera.
@@fyoevsky thanks I was curious if there was a big difference in sizing
I upgraded to my 13 mini from my brick of a 13 Pro. The pro was too big and insanely heavy and made my hands sore. I am beyond happy with my 13 mini.
Apple should have given the minis a little more time to catch on before canceling them.
I want to buy the 13 mini but this would be my reeeaaaallly first iphone so I'm kind of nervous how to use and what if i won't get use to it. I always used android system and phones.
I'm in the same situation right now. The battery life concerns me a bit since my current phone has almost double the capacity of the iPhone
Believe me you will love Apple more than Android. I never went back.
@@moreadventure3627 how long have u had Iphones?
@@Nersencrime2 Wow! I think since 2009? I don't even remember. But I got a Galaxy before that and someone stole it and that's how I ended up with an iPhone and it was huge difference .
I just got the 13 mini to replace my iPhone 7. I love the size and it is actually bigger than the iPhone 7 screen and comes with all the latest features.
This guy uses a certain buzz-phrase often. That is a super powerful feature of his channel.
First time iphone user here! Switched from a 4yo oneplus 3T
i mix it up with my 5 becuase i still use that to play music in my car
i will buy my 13 mini in few days. ty for this video!!
Hi, I loved your video, it’s great. Very informative and I learned a lot. But the one thing I am definitely also trying to figure out is how do I get the flashlight and the camera symbols off of the lock screen? This is not a feature I like and I would refer it if I could get rid of it. Thank you for any help.
thank you for the video!! im switching from a home button to face id for the first time and I really needed help navigating all the loop holes 😅
If youre getting the mini, I suggest gong to a store and holding it before purchasing. It isn’t THAT small but if you’re concerned then try that.
I got my 13 mini yesterday. It’s such an amazing little phone and it’s very adorable. Nice size for my hand too. It’s a nice upgrade because my now old phone was a 6s.
planning on upgrading my old iphone 6 which i got secondhand years ago so i watch a lot videos of iphone 13 mini
I’m using swipe on the keyboard btw. For multimedia the screen is quite small but i personally don’t mind as i have a 6 yr old iPad mini and prefer watching bedtime videos on it. May be you should consider the normal iPhone 13. The phone is an awesome piece of hardware though. ❤️
@@kartoonz82 yes I finally decided to go for iphone 13. Thank you so much for your input :)
Hello Harris... good morning...i am planning to buy the iphone 13 mini...but quite sceptical about the issues around the battery backup...and I am planning to use it for atleast 4-5 yrs.... kindly throw some of your inputs... thank you
The battery life is wonderful. I wouldn't worry
13 Mini for life!
Phone & tablet size has disproportionately risen lately when they were always originally intended to be small, the iPhone mini 13 & the iPad mini 6 are the perfect combination of fully functioning lightweight powerful products in a compact portable format, expensive yes but totally unique & niche.
Was good I had problems keeping up with you. I don't have an iPhone yet but looking and considering one
I never was a fan of huge phones. 13 mini is perfect size. I love it
I just bought mini 13 today, i am still looking for my Apple Pencil charger as you had one, lol!
suddenly switching from android to my first iPhone 13 mini was big leap for me and will have to get used to it - and very complex phone for its size so many things it can do - but confusing
Thank you for a great tutorial video! I am new to iPhone so the 13 mini is my first Apple Phone and it is the best phone I have used to date! Thank you for showing us how to slow or speed up video play back on the mini as I will use this function a lot. Thank you again for this video as it is very helpful for me.
Can you please tell me its price?
@@Ash-rq7hr, I paid about $1500
Was it 128 gb? Did it include pta approval? Or 1500$ is just the price of the phone?
@@Ash-rq7hr, I bought it directly from Apple at 512 gb and it is unlocked so I can choose my carrier. I hope this helps.
@@Ash-rq7hr, I realize now that $1500 included accessories. The phone itself was around $1100. I am sorry for the confusion I cause you.
Setting up mine as I watch your vid :-)
Traded in my 12Pro Max.
Damn that's a big change! I traded my 12 Pro Max for a 13 Pro much better size, but how are you liking your mini?!
@@robertonjr10 Yeah big change in form factor, but the mini has good upgrades so I am happy with the swap. Loving the size, love the compactness when I put the wallet on the back. The only thing I miss from the Max is the battery, however, I am EASILY getting a full day out of the Mini. Loving it.
Cheers.
I just fell in love with the white color
Thnaks for the video, bought my iPhone 13 mini starlight three days ago and 'i'm watching your video to take the most of it.
Kinda liked to see you have small hands, just like me, the phone suits the same in my hands and it does in yours.
Got the mini yesterday
This is a really nice, proper review ❤️
I currently have an X-ray and have been wanting to upgrade for a while, and I have been really interested in smaller but amazing phone. I am very sad they discontinued the mini’s
I told myself I wouldn't upgrade my XR until they got rid of the notch but when I found out they may be eliminating the mini lineup, I went ahead and upgraded and I'm so happy I did. I love the 13 mini. I have a great powerful phone that can fit in my tiny Asian hands. XD
I like this mini-review, bu ti notice you also have the 13 pro, which do you really prefer.. Mini is neat, just small for many things
lol you said "20 watt charging "brick" to those tiny cubes xD
The folding wallet at 8:40, can you also place it on top of the case? Or does it not stick
Closing all apps is a habit you get when you’ve owned android before owning an iPhone.
Would have thought it would have been the opposite..
Man, i came from an android to an iPhone 13 mini and first thing i did was let all the relevants apps open in background. So satisfying.
@@rodrigocalderaro8792 Explain this to me because android is the king of multitasking. I'm moving iPhone 13 Pro from Samsung but I've never had to close my apps on Samsung. On the contrary, I had two running at the same time..
@@rodrigocalderaro8792 😂😂 true
@@shomshomni2314 way back in the beginning, those app would drain my battery and use up my RAM on my androids.

This was incredibly informative and thorough. Excellent.
Respect obi wan 🙏🏽🙏🏽 I really needed the help. Thank you
Just got one....absolutely perfect!!!
Took me a lot of time to find this video. I'm going to buy an iPhone for the first time and I needed to learn how to use iOS. It's not as intuitive as Android but I'm getting 13 mini for its size.
I hope this video helped with the transition!
I still having my iPhone 5s haha .. which I know super old one... and think change to 13 mini..
so basically my iPhone 5s adapter . I won’t be able to use it again...
Thank you so much for this video! I just upgraded from an old iPhone 7, so all your information was very helpful.
I love my starlight iphone 13 😍🔥
What was that magnet accessory that had a charging port in it??
I just got a Product red iPhone 13 mini and I like the smaller phone
I’m getting mine tomorrow and I’m kinda scared because i have a XR rn and I just don’t want it to be too small
HI, thank you for all the informations. I have a question... I used to enter to mz iPhone always with a code. In Mini 13 can't found it. Could you help me? This iPhone can open so easy from someone and I don't want it that. Thank you
this really helps, but the speaker speaks very quickly, is I have had to replay several times.
Thank you so much for this vid I am jumping from iPhone 6 to iphone 13mini I really appreciate this content i am kinda lost when i first got my 13mini 😅
Hi,
Some of the options i can’t find in my iPhone 13mini specially about camera scanning. Can you guide me how to fix that
never expected this phone to be this great❤🔥❤🔥
1:35 is it normal that the antenne is that much visible? I can't see it in black and red versions
I bought the expensive apple case. it's worth it. has a nice grip. the I phone mini 13 is slippery. I have never dropped it with the apple case.
U describe the Find My Phone settings at the end of the video.. I can't find that screen on my brand new mini, w/ most recent OS. help
Can you use a USB-A to lightening port cable to charge the iPhone 13 mini? I have a USB A to lightening port cable for my Powerbeats Pro
I love iphone. Haven't used one before. This is really cute 🥺🥺🥺I wish I could buy one someday.
Thanks for sharing. Did not know half these things. No wonder every time I upgraded my phoned seemed more of the same lol. I especially like the scan feature you have shown. Shit that makes life easier.
from a xs max to 13 mini would be a big size jump for me. it reminds me of the iphone 5 but way better so i’m definitely going for yhis
Same here. Just got mine this afternoon, it’s weird looking at small screen but i like it as it’s very lightweight and compact 🥰
Always have had android, is it like super hard to switch over ? I'm 60 and not very tech friendly, so not sure if I should do it, but like this small phone. Thanks 👍
I’m coming from a 6s. Noticed 12/13 have “eSIM”. I put my carrier physical SIM card in and it shows two if the same line. Which am I supposed to use? I noticed one of them is being seen by friends as green text messages instead of blue (iPhone to iPhone).
• "Default Voice Line" select Primary
• "Cellular Plans / Cellular Plan Label" select Primary and Turn On This line.
(Below that it gives the details about iMessages.)
• Check to see that MMS Messaging is selected.

2b honest, it's really shitty to have a phone without a charger these days. These companies doesn't care at all.
I don't mind not having charger as I've accumulate too many all these years....just sell the phone cheaper will do.
For people buying this phone, it's probably not their first so I don't see the problem with it since 95% of people will already have chargers
I’m going to get the mini some day !! Giving you my 12 pro..,, I can’t wait
12 pro is better. I can't understand people that buy things they have no idea about
