What strikes me in your video is that, like me, you have fat fingers, yet you're still able to tap effortlessly on the controller's tiny icons. I recently purchased a stylus ($15 U.S.) which makes it far easier to access the menus behind the tiny icons that frequently don't respond immediately to my finger taps.
Just wishing I could get even one of this drones because I am a drone lover and I haven't gotten due to the prices anyway nice drone with cool new feature.

Ty for tips. Would you do a video informing people about the smart controller having serious issues connecting to iphone wifi? 9/10 times I have to reset network settings on my iphone 13 pro max. B4 dji smart controller will see the iphone. Also as safety I do this before flying a mission to have the map data available. After I do that it will automatically disconnect from wifi network. Ty.

Thanks for a very informative video. I got my M3P a few days ago but it's still in the hanger. As a new drone pilot, I want to make sure I'm at least technically knowledgeable before taking flight. A flying error is forgiveable, but loss of the drone due to clicking the wrong switch is much less forgiveable.
😂 You can’t crash drone because you press a button. The only button that makes it move is RTH which just brings it back to where you took off from and you can cancel anytime. Only way to crash is flying error on your part
Total newbie not clear on this. So where exactly are the videos and/or the sound (if using a mic) recorded: The drone sd card or the controller sd card? Can you record a video AND have the voice comments on the same card, whatever card it is on?
Great tips. Quick question on joy stick modes. The default on the left stick is push forward to climb vertically. Is there a way to reverse that so that push is descend and pull is climb? I fly an Airbus 320, and that is how the sidestick works on the aircraft. Flying my Mini 3 goes against many years of muscle memory development in the vertical axis. Thanks for all your info over the years.
I just purchased one and had the same gripe. Several years of gaming, that joy stick configuration went against my muscle memory. Thankfully there’s a custom mode which allows you to configure to your desire
When you press on the screen for focus, does that focus on that particular spot? Also, when you press and hold on the screen, does that do focus lock, exposure lock, or both? I mainly take photos....
For the most part you don’t have to it’s supposed to automatically focus. I’ve just found in the past that sometimes it’s not quite right and just to make sure you have a good focus it’s just a good rule of thumb to always tap on the screen to force a focus. You can also use that to lock the exposure

Yes it does, the mini 2 batteries will get new firmware from time to time. When you insert a battery that needs updating it will prompt you to update it

Android have screwed up the fly app with the latest update Android 12 and DJI are bringing out a beta version 1.6.12 to correct the problem where apparently the app keeps on switching itself off or not launching. I believe the problem is mainly on phones rather than the RC and it appears now that they have issued a new fly app to replace the beta which they have called 1.6.10 so just to be awkward if you’ve already downloaded the beta which is 12 it won’t let you load the new version which is 10 because it’s a lower number so you have to delete 12 first before you reinstall 10
My mini 3 pro does not seem to have the ability to disable sideways flight. I have confirmed that my firmware is up to date, but when I am under the "safety" section in the 3 dots, my options are "obstacle avoidance" and "display radar map" and then it goes to the "flight protection ". No options for sideways settings anywhere. Thoughts?
I just recently bought the mini 3. I notice when i take a phone I get a message that the photo is being enhanced. I can find any setting to turn this off, and I can't find any info about it on line. Any help or info would be appreciated. Thanks.
Does it work with the mini 2 controller & do you have to calibrate the compass too often when flying it out of the truck window like the mini 2? If I have semi backing practice with the drone & tablet I don't want to calibrate it after swapping batteries. I'd have to leave the semi & the trainer could run out of patience.
My son gave me DJI Mini 3 Pro as a gift few days ago and it was lot of fun learning about it and taking it for my first flight. This drone is much easier to fly and the picture quality was excellent. I ran into a problem that many may not encounter. We live close to JoCo Executive airport with restricted airspace. It took me a while to figure out to get the right permission to fly the drone. The hand controller makes continuous sound to remind me that I am flying in a restricted zone but with permission. I am assuming that I can mute it. I was able to transfer my video from drone to my iPad Pro Max but had difficulty transferring the same video again to my iPhone Pro. Is there a restriction that it will transfer the video to only one device? If so is there a workaround so that I can transfer it to my iPhone? Thanks.
@@jayzzz1234 have fun bud, tbh you'll see it's pretty simple. Put drone up a few metres in front of yourself, and use active track and when u move around you'll see on your screen. If need any help just send message on here.
I was going to purchase a drone. After learning the FAA is cracking down issuing $100,000 dollars fines for not having a pilot license to fly your drone. It's not fun anymore. These RUclipsrs haven't received a call from FAA yet.
You only get fined if you break regulations. As long as you follow all the guidelines, it’s a fun and safe hobby you don’t have to worry about being fined.

I fly on FSX, not as cool as you but I know exactly what you mean.

qc guy said when he used the DJI mic, he had to turn the gain up to +12, did yours work without adjusting the gain? Nice video....
The volume is a little low I think I have mine set at +6 if I’m not mistaken. Even for the action 2 I always have it set at +2.
Same when I use my DJI Mic with the original Osmo Pocket.
I bet your mini 3 was very hot after the amount of time it was on that table? I use a laptop fan pad to try to keep it from shutting down due to heat.

Hi can the drone stay in place and track a object
Yes it can with "Active track" function.
If yoou activate "Active track" then highlight point of interest the camera should follow you but drone will stay same place.

haha yes indeed i had to shoot that video in a few segments as it overheated a few times
