At last I finally find the pattern for this life changing sanitary towel. Thank you so much I'd love to make these and help many women in need ❤💜💗. God bless you for sharing.
Wow I loved this madam sew, am science teacher in Kenyan schools we tried this in school with students though we were using hands we don't have sewing machine...students loved it.
Can you please do a tutorial on the saucer pattern & using PUL &/or Zorn to make these? It seems like it might be nice to be able to make different designs for the Pachamama Project. Thanks so much!
This could also be used for the homeless in our own country, who are not refugees. Or those who have chronic health conditions and cannot work. Buying monthly supplies is very hard at times. Thanks for sharing.
Waoooh, this is fantastic. The rate women and girls use rags for menstruation is alarming and worrisome in Nigeria. Majority do not have money for disposable pads everybody. Hence so many students do not go to school as a result of no money to buy disposable pads, I actually want to learn and start production. How can we partner now please? Thanks so much and i sincerely appreciate you and your team.
Hi, I would advise you to get in touch with someone from the Pachamama project directly. We did a one-time collaboration in 2021. Our customers made a ton of sanitary pads that we donated to this project. All information is on the Pachamama website www.thepachamamaproject.org/
The question that I have is... do these women even have access to knickers? These pads assume that the user has knickers to attach the pads to. I ask as I have a teenage daughter who over the years has grown out of dozens of pairs of totally wearable knickers. Charity shops don't want them but they are clean and un marked. Same with boys boxers?
