I spent my Christmas in KL this year. Talking about Christmas decorations, my favorite is definitely Pavilion, my second favorite is Mid Valley Megamall.
From Nu Sentral you can take the LRT train to Abdulah Hukum which is connected to Midvalley. Very festive there as well. You can also take MRT to 1 Utama, one of the biggest malls here.
Make your way to the malls out of kl ie midvalley, tropicana, one utama, sunway pyramid, pavillion bukit jalil, ioi city mall in putra jaya, sunway pyramid

Chinese..Indian..Sri Lankan... Eurasian .. Portuguese. Dayak.. Ibans .. Kadazan and many more ethnics in Malaysia...

And yes you are correct, unofficially there are competition to attract crowds for shopping. I thing pavilion has the best deco. Next is berjaya times square.
@@SQUEEZEtheDAY generally it is good food. You can check out american couple one life 2 souls who ate for 3 months in kl. They have been almost everywhere in kl to eat. They also do ratings.
@@SQUEEZEtheDAY there are 3 japanese malls or companies in malaysia. Lalaport, isetan and Aeon. We have many japanese expats here, and koreans as well. Most westerners go to bali and chiang mai, some philippines.
