Is there anyway I can get the bigger 8 inch screen in my 2015 v6 mustang replacing the stock 4 inch screen.
I was told, by the Ford service dealership that since my Mustang didn't come with the My ford touch, it could be installed... EVER..... You either have it, or don't..Wow Ford....
Well your video helped me a lot but probably not as you expected. Just removed the nav from my order. That thing just lags. I mean from the time it takes to draw up a map, to the time it takes to process voice commands. Ive been spoiled with the excellent Google Maps on my phone and used to basically instant response
I certainly get what you mean, but this is on par with most navigation systems in cars nowadays. It's only a one-second delay between commands and when the system reacts (for things like saying "Navigation" or "Destination Street Address"), and a 5-second delay from the time you finish saying a full address to having it mapped. I think that's amazing. Remember, this is a system you can work while you drive, hands-free. I don't think waiting 5 seconds after completing your destination address is super laggy... especially while you're driving.
With out last car (2009 Subaru) we decided not to get the nav because they were awful compared to something like a portable Garmin or TomTom (my choice), and less flexible (you can't take a built in on vacation). So, now I'm researching an Ecoboost convertible (Blue or Ruby) and was wondering whether the Nav was worth $800 and if it can be added later. Also wondering how the 9 speakers vs 12 speakers sounds? This will be a touring car, so I'm not keen on losing much trunk space to a subwoofer.
I love this system in '15 SHO, but why in the F*&( didn't they turn on Applink for MyFord Touch?!>?!

Is there any way to make the second screen go away -forever- when using the nav? I know that when you cycle through "View" it goes away until you get to another turn, but is there a setting to disable it completely? (It gets in my way when I'm looking at other routes on the map and then covers half of the screen.)
I admit smart phones have btr nav. But i like the big screen for things like rear camera and touch screen functions. Plus the smart phone clips can be ugly and a challenge to mount.
Videos via USB? I'm pretty sure that feature is for music.

I recently bought a evoboost premium but mine doesnt say navigation on the top rigt corner of the home wall. It says information. I cant find navigation in my car, it only gives me directions. Like it only tells me to turn here and etc.. Im just so confused..

Yeah, apparently not all premiums have navigation installed. If it doesn't say navigation, it just means that you don't have it on your car. At least thats what the representative told me when I called ford.

did your car come with this theme on its navigation screen, or did you alter it some how? I just picked up the 16 mustang gt premium with the performance package, and the screen looks different.

+Damian Muro There answer is no this only comes with the premium package which is only available on ecoboost and GT models as an upgrade. And you can't get it installed on the V6. The V6 does come with a standard 4 inch screen with backup cam as do the other base models. But to get the 8 inch touch screen with sync 3 as seen in video you must at least get and ecoboost with premium. I myself got the 2016 ecoboost with premium package.

So you have the 201A package with the 12-speaker audio system (with sub)...how's the audio? Is it clear and crisp? Does the sub sound good? Also...how is the bluetooth audio streaming quality from your phone? I have a Sonata right now with the top-of-the-line Infinity system and the streaming is amazing quality...something I wouldn't want to lose. And finally...can the touchscreen display album art? Either from the bluetooth or perhaps if using a USB?
Audio quality is about 8/10 by today's standards... though that's completely subjective, so what's 8 for me may be 6 or 10 for you. I think it's really good. Bluetooth streaming from a phone is flawless. Lastly, yes, the touchscreen can display album art.
