The A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 Moon Phase features a 38.5mm 18k white gold case surrounding a black dial on a brand new black alligator strap with an 18k white gold tang buckle. Functions include hours, minutes, small-seconds, date, day/night indicator and moon phase. The watch also measures 10.4mm in thickness and 47mm from lug-to-lug.

Great review as always, Tim! Gotta love the moon disc on top of the day/night disc. Question: Is Lange's white gold the traditional rhodium-plated variety, or is it the more homogeneous "grey gold" type (a la Rolex, JLC, or Patek)?

The jlc ultra thin moon is thinner and automatic. Lange doesn’t really do thin though.
