if he's just sitting with an absolute zero effort on adjusting anything, yeah that can happen. It has to be aimed downward.
Also if the aiming is done carelessly, the part can absolutely touch the surface of various parts of a toilet no one would want to contact.
I believe it's way safer and cleaner for a man to just pee standing.
Depends on your height. The closer you are to the toilet the safer. If you're a lamp post pissing from downtown your piss is either going to rebound from the inside, or the stream is too wild and random spurts of piss will miss the rim. Standing is obviously much more ergonomic so if you're not the one cleaning the toilet you're better off standing.

@@MegaCreativeName Just pee in a bottle and empty the bottle into the toilet when you're done. You can keep the bottle next to your toilet and just use the same one for a few months before it starts feeling a bit weak integrally, this is speaking from experience. Also, I recycle the bottles afterwards lol :D

Sitting down peeing is honestly the cleanest way to do it. I tell my friends to sit peeing, if they go to my toilet - I don't want to clean up after them. Also, it is not a dirty conversation - how are you supposed to know about this stuff if you don't ask?
