🤣🤣🤣
Lol
Hahah. YES!
Yes
True, we need to get Dr. Arkhe de Leon a TV show!
2 hours for MOD composite holy moly . But I’ve been a dental assistant for 6 years now , and that’s one of the prettiest restorations I’ve ever seen . Impressive Quality!
Here comes THE MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION: "why in California USA Dentist DO NOT GIVE the teeth that they pulled out?????????????????????????"
MOREOVER why is RUclips now letting me type that same question as topic of my search???
LITERALLY NOTHING comes in as answers or video or post or ANYTHING. WHY???????????????
What are they hiding???? So Dr Arkhe de Leon could you please answer that question even if you do NOT live in California USA. At the end of the day you're a dentist as "THEM" your colleagues. God bless 🙏🏽

Your restorations are beautiful! You have a very good reason to display confidence in your work by putting it up for anyone to see. Keep up the good work!
This is the difference between a provider with passion and one who only does it for the money. You can just see the pride she puts into her work

I was blessed at 17 with such a dentist. His bonds lasted 20 years! Unfortunately, he retired and I wasn't able to go back to have them fixed. Dr. Paul Kitchen, Fredericksburg VA - God blessed him with skill and compassion💞
“She”? Women can’t be doctors and dentist! This channel is whack. I’m out of here!
@@MrSirDudeGuy neither can you
@@MrSirDudeGuy What do you mean that women CAN'T be doctors? Are you joking or what?
I really wish insuring that a tooth is flossable after the repair would be the norm. This is amazingly well done.
What is restoration?
Same! My dentist has never done that. Maybe thats why my filings always need repairing hmmm 🤔
I wish they'd get the sharp edges on their work rounded off so I don't have to discover them after the local wears off and have to sand them down myself (true story).
@@dimitrisskar4174 tooth restoration is when they fixed damaged teeth so that they work well for chewing and look like normal healthy teeth. This can be fillings to fix cavities and broken teeth, or making an entire fake tooth to replace or cover a badly damaged tooth. My dentist restored a tooth that was cracked in half by building the missing half from my last X-ray and a mold of the broken tooth- unless you look at it under a black light you cannot tell it’s a mostly fake tooth (the composite material glows blue)
Technically that's what the standard of care should be
Its great to finally be able to view some of the work and patience required for that. It helps reduce the anxiety that is going to the dentist. Thank you both for allowing to record and to have posted it.
Thank you so much po for appreciating po! Means a lot po.. Will upload more videos soon po! God bless po!
Doc, i love your humor 😂 the editing on this made the whole procedure 100x better
I've always been so afraid of getting fillings, probably because I didn't know how much skill was involved. It just seemed like drilling to me. This is very helpful to the average patient!
@Multi Dimensional yeah true. The last thing you want is a new dentist who is less experienced grabbing your head to hold you still while they drill and stick needles inside your tooth during the root canal (not anaesthesia either) and miss the mark a few times. Then afterwards get mouth ulcers on your lips from the pressure of their tools and fingers pinching your lip to your teeth the whole time. Yes, I speak from recent experience and never clenched my whole body tighter in my life. 😬
I had a two root canals done by a shitty dentist I honestly don't think i even needed them but believed Dentist. After several weeks of pain went to see dentist again looked at it said everything was fine. A couple of months latter went to another Dentist they looked at it and sent me to a root canal specialist - She looked at them and asked she asked me who did them I told her and she rolled her eyes and muttered something under her breath...After she did them again no problems and if I ever need another I will be going back to her!!!
@@vanissaberg5824 sounds like my experience with rct too haha. Rookie dentist who just posted did my rct and i was literally struggling from screaming. From missing marks a few times, to tools poking my inner mouth, i feel like guinea pig for experiment

I'm so glad I live in this time period versus, well, any other past time period... I cannot fathom the type of horror dentistry of the past must have been!!
I feel as if future generations will say things similar to that. As in they will think the way we are doing things was complicated and painful
@@jadziajohnson Oh, definitely!!
@@jadziajohnson yes like root canals
Funny thing is, it wasn't so bad because in the past stuff that people put in there mouth wasn't as bad on their teeth
@@jadziajohnson probably, but hopefully they aren't speaking about our time when it comes to health care because I believe the chainsaw was made for childbirth and we didn't do that. However will do still have to deal with racism, homophobia, transphobia and gender biases though not as bad as the people in the past.
After watching Dr arkhe videos, I am so so much more confident I'd be in the best hands for any restorative work.
For simple reasons like drying slowly, least amount of pressure least abrasions and reduced thinning of surrounding enamel, a d being patient is really a skill.
Just amazing to watch.
You are Genius Doctor.. May God Bless You.. Hope you Treat your patients with minimum charges...
"and the patient to be patient too" lol. 😂
Dr. Arkham de Leon.
These videos make me brush 4 times a day.
I now floss atleast five times a day, brush once a day (although) i brush for almost seven minutes, floss and then use two mouth washes followed by a warm salt rinse, NOT one cavity. However, to keep a minty breath should brush three times a day. I do rinse my mouth out three times a day with warm salt water.
@@michaelsmith9308 what's this "warm salt water"? Is it just water with salt?
@@Xgil2Play Salt water rinses have anti-bacterial and healing properties that make them perfect for sore throats, sores, healing gum tissues, and more. Salt temporarily increases the pH level of the mouth, creating an alkaline environment.
@@BlackScreenSleepers Writing this down. What is the recommended times it should be done on a daily basis?
@@michaelsmith9308 I bet your teeth are yellow. What you're doing is excessive myself guy. Just be careful what you eat and brush twice a day and floss if you can.
I see my dentist regularly and won't hesitate to book an appointment if I worried about something, but I have a major phobia about anything happening to my teeth. These videos are actually helping me because, as graphic as they are, it makes me realise that a good dentist can help almost any situation!
Why have I started watching dental work on a daily basis? RUclips has brought so much to our lives!

These videos are awesome for me as a dental student. We don''t have most of these tools in the public dental hospital. A caries marker? I just stare at the cavity in deep thoughts for 3-4 minutes. This is so motivating seeing what I can achieve in future when I have the talent and the tools. Thank you so much

@@DrArkhedeLeon there are alot a great dentist's but it's a luck of a draw to find him/her. I had one that I was told was great but ended doing the worst job just for a filling. Tooth got infected under filling and filling broke into pieces. Again, it's a luck of the draw because you never really know.🤷♂️
Really enjoyed watching the careful deliberate steps in your care AND spending the proper amount of time to do them. I'm a dental hygienist and an ex-assistant, so it's so wonderful to see a dentist with such quality skills.
I'm a former assistant and before that married to a dentist. There are only 3 kinds of dentists. Good, bad and mediocre. Try to find a good one, they won't be inexpensive but bad dentists will eventually cost you a fortune replacing the damage. My ex was capable of good work but not patient and cut corners. I landed up with 4 implants and a huge bill. Dental schools are a good resource for affordable work because they are supervised by experienced dentists and have to take all the correct steps.

Beautiful job doc!
I'm thankful everyday that I don't have any cavities or other problems with my teeth.🙏
How do you know when to stop drilling? I'd be so scared I'd damaged something
When it starts to get hard I believe, most of the bad thingies are softer, I THINK
@@jarellharris2345 I mean yeah if you use common sense cavities wouldn't be hard they would be soft
that is why we use caries detecting dye, it allows the dentist to visualize infected tissue
@@clauvasquez how the dye is working?
@@netzy26 i'm no dentist but a chemist, I was curious a bit about this too, and what they use is a dye that is dissolvable in propylene glycol (example: acid red), and the mechanism is simple: infected tissue is porous for propylene glycol to penetrate it and stick to it tightly, so when a dentist flushes off the excess dye solution, red coloration is leftover where the porous tissues (read as infected, since healthy tissue is dense and integral, as I understand).
You are a very good dentist, most dentist will drill the tooth too much instead of trying to save it as much as you did. You took your time and the restoration process of filling the tooth was amazing to watch. I wish you were my dentist. This is why its prefferable to book an appointment than walking into a dental clinic. You can wait for ages depending on the patient-before-you case.

Germany here... Actually we have a quite good overall health care... However, with teeth I feel they do it extra short with fillings and doing only half a Job, charging extra (not covered by public healthcare), only that we come in a year to get the same treatment...
Same here in Brasil. Dentists love you if you want to do cosmetic procedures, but if you're there just for your health, job is never carefully done. Public healthcare is there only to remove your teeth when it's severely damaged (!!) You have to be screaming in pain to get this service.
Thus, we are simultaneously the country of rich people with very white and shiny teeth and the country of toothless people.

I'm having similar work done in about a week on a tooth with decay caused by an old fractured filling. Doc said Core and Crown needed, and perhaps a Root Canal. (premolar) this DDS does everything.
