Excellent work, I treated LOTS of central incisors like this for those who couldn’t afford crowns or needed result in a hurry in my forty four year dental career. Your patients are lucky to have you, I hope they appreciate you! Yes , this will last a long time, might need some refreshing or maintenance for chipping etc. but looks really solid.

There was a load of tooth left. Are you a dentist?
Though the restoration was an improvement for sure, the line angles on the distal and the mesial are incorrect along with the labial grooves/imperfections which are not replicated in regards to the adjacent central. I think that restoration would have been more natural if these factors were taken into consideration. Surface textures reflect light and shadows. With this being said, it is not a bad restoration though.

Case like this, it is not uncommon while other dentist just give it up so as to pull out the tooth.
But you always try very hard to take the challenge , never give up to save it.

Why pull the tooth, when a simple crown can fix the issue and it's more reliable than composite restoration. Not to mention that composite will turn yelowish over time, especially if the patient is heavy smoker or drinking much coffee
Impressive matching the natural color. I hope it is strengthened and sustainable by the person and their chewing habits. But you are the expert and you made the executive decision to do this based on your own expertise and inspection. Great job.

Yes it is a root canal treated tooh.. just remove some infected dentin on the orifice that my endodotist missed..

Really enjoy your videos. Are you sure this restoration will last? Seems prone to fracture with horizontal biting forces…
I believe he suggested fixed prosthesis already maybe due to financial constraints pt unable to pay. Maybe pt will come again in future hopefully.

Корневой канал обычно запечатывается,вставляется штифт. Мой доктор делал так. А сыну в детской клинике врач не запесатала корневой канал и просто положила пломбу. Со временем зуб стал чернеть. Когда сделали снимок уже в другой клинике,то врач объяснила,что из за того,что не правильно было проведено лечение..зуб необходимо удалить.

Isn't devital bleaching / walking bleach is an optian for this teeth? (After reducing gutta-percha to under 1-2 mm of the origin) Asking for curiosity. Amazing work btw doc.

I have a hairline crack down my tooth due to a bad fall it is a front tooth my dentist is going to put a porcelain crown on it is this the best option...? I have compasite fillings in my back teeth.. What makes the difference between the two types of work crown /virus restoration which is best.

It’s always easier to do internar bleaching and you’ll preserve more of the natural tooth structure.
If you’re building the tooth up with only composite, no matter how “great” it looks , it will fail and might even need to be extracted

No. They are not. This person should have gotten a crown. I literally had this done and it was awful.
Not as strong..patient was about to get married so we didnt have a time for a crown
I agree I had this done to two of my teeth after root canal and it ruined those two teeth after breaking off I'm not sure why after any root canal a dentist wouldn't put a crown on that tooth I even pointed it out to them and they didn't really know what to say because they knew I was right the dentist said moisture to the composite breaks it down a lot also ok you know how much moisture mouths and teeth deal with from different things if that's the case not sure what the point in using it for teeth is exactly i guess just for looks till it decides to break!!

If the teeth was dead, why no root canal treatment before putting composite?
Doc tanong ko lng po pwede ba ipa bunot ang ngipin na galing sa sakit namaga na kasi pisngi ko pero wala na ako naramdaman na kirot yung namaga nalang na pisngi masakit pag na hawakan nilalagnat na rin ako 3 days na 🥲 tapos nagka allergy pa po ako sa gamot na iniinom ko na mefenamic namaga na yung mata ko 🤦 salamat doc.

High maintenance.. it becomes darker again after a while and patient has a high chance of discoloration

Is a very good reconstruction but that theeth has a Grade 1 movility and for sure was better put a FiberPost and a Zircone Crown.
