Remember the Pinkertons. Never forget the Pinkertons
I think because they used the Pinkerton situation should at every chance, deny hasbro control of spoiler season. For as long as it takes for an official apology for going as far as they did against a private citizen for a mistake out of that person's control.
Never forget
Never forget never forgive
Never forget! Thus since there was no comment by WotC, it would scream “deliberate leak”.
Tell them to shove it. Stand your ground. They can't do shit.
New Phyrexia's entire Godbook (pdf of the whole set) was leaked early
A list containing all the card names for Conflux were leaked early. Spoiling the return of Nicol Bolas as a planeswalker
The dfcs are very useful and all uncommon. I wonder if Wizards intended there to be desirable uncommons, thus making the set potentially sell better. I think most decks will want to swap a basic for the Dfc spells.
Cayth is the Jeskai Artificer commander I've always wanted!!! I'm gonna build a giant freaking machine army!!!
Perilous landscape tapping for generic mana as opposed to only having the sac ability is pretty choice.
Is a fine common fetchland for budget decks of those colors
The other thing with Cayth is it's in blue, all the nonlegend clone cards each come in with Fabricate 1 and give every other nontoken creature fabricate 1 and iirc fabricate triggers would each go off individually.
With the combination of whites counter and token synergies and maybe a bit of a blink sub theme... honestly if Cayth is real I may make my first jeskai deck.
PS. Persist the creature enters with the counter already on it, fabricate is a triggered ETB so the -1 counters are taken off on ETB
good catch. Nanogene conversion would lead to one heck of a burst turn!
Both Fabricate and Persist are triggers. Persist moves the card from the graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 on it. Then Fabricate triggers. So briefly it has the -1/-1 counter.
nothing like more cool skeletons creatures that ARENT LEGENDARIES.
i want a good skeleton to use as a commander of skeletons!
skeleton crew would be such an awesome commander, but its not legendary.
and now we will have more cool skeletons that would be nice as commander, BUT ARENT LEGENDARIES 😭
Tinybones?
@@billygregory1547 none of tinybones cards are cool as commanders, but some of them are cool in the 99
At least with a Modern-focused set, we don't get 40 legendaries because they actually want you to play multiple copies.
And he is named “emperor of bones”…I’m right here waiting too
@@wandererfromblindeternitie9748 true okay try Morophon 😂
How many hoodies do you own?
Aftermath leaked the whole set eatlu
when discussing whir of invention, I couldn't make out what you recommended to tutor for to "just win"
Cayth might have a home in Breya's workshop.
I know that I should probably reconsider and see what it can be done with it, but so far I'm really put off by all of the energy stuff: I just don't want to mess with another mechanic so even the 'broken' cards kinda discourage me if it involves the energy stuff.
Specially given tthe price we can expect from MHIII: I'd give it a go if it was more accessible but if this is a premium expansion with a premium price tag I don't want to deal with stuff I don't like to play with like energy counters, but I'm sure this is an unpopular take.
glad you showed one of my favorite combos, Twilight Shepard and now add Altar of Dementia. Either get Giada or that new Dwarf girl on the battlefield and watch the fun begin.
I think the finality counter means exile it when it dies
following other cards the adapt for bones is 1 and a black
I am loving all the new charge counter cards. I have been slowly building a deck list for the robot commander from Fallout, so these new cards will hopefully be a good addition.
Im most intrested in Cayth, bc number one, Panharmonicon will work with fabricate bc its an etb. And if i have Cayth with helm of the host, then my creatures have multiple instances of fabticate! So if i have Sai, master thopterist, Cayth, and panharmonicon, then i do artifact tribal, then it's gonna be so fun
Im surprised you thought of persist first for Cayth rather than infinite etbs having 2 creatures blink each other to make infinite servos
Or mention goblin bombardment with a persist creature.
Magic RUclipsrs be like..."They may not be real but there's probably a 99.99% chance they are real but I leave that .01% chance out there so I dont get in trouble." 😂😂😂😉
I would play the wheel in any wheel deck that also runs tergrid... it doesnt matter what you draw you want the mass discard to trigger tergrid.
On Wheel of Potential is that X and one energy counter or X energy counters that you pay?
X energy
@@FVLLEN_GXD Thank you.
Wheel of potential is referencing electric potential
I'm about to rebuild my Liberty Prime deck this June
Emperor of Bones is definitely going in my Mothman deck
Saheeli and Brudiclad would also be great in the Cayth deck
Imagine having the Pinkertons called on you for a set like **March of the Machines Aftermath** 💀💀💀
This was fun, but the first card had me super-excited, and then totally not.☺️ For reasons even I don't know, I really wish that there was more Skeleton support. I would love a Dimir Skeleton Lord Legendary that could maybe make 1/1 Skeleton tokens, or at least buff/support other Skeleton creatures. Yeah, Zombie should be close enough, and they have oodles of support, but I'd still like something to lead a deck that could have Skittles, and/or a Demilich, in it; I'm weird, that way.
Cayth famed mechanist mondrak and anointed procession with ashnods altar and clock of omens goes infinite tokens
fabricate works with panharmonicon type effects so persist infinite could then make infinite servos
No it doesn’t since it doubles the trigger after you made your choice
Cayth - Jeskai Aristocrats Jeez I am so tempted to build this one lol
Intruder alarm go brrr
im ngl i was really excited for the art on cayth, then i remembered that this isnt actually the art for it, i was about to drop everything and build it just for the art
Biggest Leak of All time - 😮 New Phyrexia was leaked via a PDF by Magic Pro Tour players Guillaume Matignon and Guillaume Wafo-Tapa as well as Martial Moreau and David Gauthier. Each were suspended from the DCI for a time and forced to play mono white for two years .
Bears are no longer bears.
Cayth plus Glen elendra archmage looks insanely broken
I just want a single colorless mana pip eldrazi creature
A land with a mana cost?! WHERE’S EDDIE?
Wait until you see dryad arbor
For Cayth, there are only 7 Jeskai creatures that permanently have persist. Theres like two cards that can give it, but you can't combo. All is to say that persist would have to be at most a minor subtheme.
River Kelpie begs to differ. Also any Warstorm Surge effects with a sac outlet.
@47_was_here3 That was the second half of my sentance. You can't combo with the ones that give it, because its a new creature when it comes back. Any of the 7 can combo. It takes alot less then a 6 mana enchantment too, any goblin bombardment type effect.
Emperor of bones in raffine
Plus and minus counters don't cancel each other out quite like that, they're still tracked separately
Sorry but you’re mistaken , there are many known loops and combos that take advantage of this.
This rule was changed years ago.
Slip Emperor of Bones in with Master Multiplied.
It doesn't take a professional photographer to take a picture that shows everything. I'm fairly certain an 8-year-old could do it.
The MDFCs will surely bring more chalbelcher
Only other set that got this much leakage was the first aftermath set.
Well, that and the New Phyrexia print file being leaked so we got the entire set at once.
Doesnt emperor of bones scream legendary?? I think its fake that just seems like it would be a legendary
For emperor of bones, you cannot blink the creature with the finality counter to remove the counter and keep the creature, because all blink effects say “return to play/battlefield under it’s owner’s control” since you’re not the owner of the card, only control has changed after getting the creature with the finality counter, blinking it would give it back to the opponent. Cards like Hex Parasite and/or mass counter removal cards would work though, as long as creatures you control are affected.
Are the “insane leaks” in the room with us now?
Lets go leaks
Wow, a new commander that has the same combos that 450 commanders already have. But in Jeskai, wow... My god is she so simple. As a commander, not as a card. As a card is fine.
Turns out 'spoiler season' is being canceled, and the 'leaks' are the actual spoilers.
Calling it now.
Man, this set looks good.
Cayth: Exists
Me: Hello, new Commander! I look forward to building you!
Insane more like insanely disappointing, nothing seems the least bit interesting to me, i was really hoping for the energy deck to be veicle focused not token focused. I thought it be cool if the commander made it possible to crew by paying energy instead of the traditional method, but nope we needed another boring token focused commander.
Is anyone else getting tired of Commander: the Cashening/ IP's: the Gathering handling of card design? Like, the push cards are just clear, consistant insanity and to compensate everything else is either: A) optimal upside, B) generic upside, or C) defanged of any tom f***ery it's predecessor used to raze the table with.
Like, I get Commander is a social game but the artificial walls making sure no one has a feel bad or gets a boo boo because you AOEd their board for fun (or strategy) feels like they'd rather players sat around playing patty-cake instead of a COMPETETIVE card game.
