It’s so crazy that Warren can literally fix anything.. now imagine him having an engineer degree, he’d be super dangerous..! The amount of work he is able to pump out all by himself is unreal..
Your exactly right Scott!!! I believe if the man was blind he could probably do the same thing except it might take a bit longer. Lol!!! I have seen a man know a little bit about any and every motor. He's a genius in his field. It really frosts my ass to read comments about the man and what people say about him. THERE EITHER BACKYARD MECHANICS OR JEALOUS OF HIS INTELLECT.
I respect Warren's willingness to take on any job, rebuilding a 4L60E, working on ag equipment, or rebuilding big diesels. Not too many mechanics today can do that. He's worth a ton to his customers, who I'm sure appreciate having a one-call solution to their problems. It takes a combination of born ability, willingness to learn, and time on the job to get to his level.
Warren, I got tired of slipping and sliding when trying to work over those brake drums, so I built a wooden box with steps and notched to fit around the jack stands and it sure is a time and back saver. Great videos. Bill
I was watching Warren, and I thought that in his situation the step box or a couple of short saw horses and a board or two might be the way to go. I’m glad it’s not only me thinks like that !
It still amazes me of all the “STUFF” you know and can remember on all the equipment and trucks you work on, you have got to be the nearest thing to a human walking computer library I know of. I hope the people in your area realize what an asset you are to them, and I am NOT blowen smoke up the pipe when I say that sir. Thanks for the update sir.
Warren, hi, been watching your channel for a few years, all I can say is your knowledgebase is phenomenal. There's a saying "there aint no substitute for skill" plus your work ethic is on another level. Your customers are priveledged to be able to avail themselves of your talent. MARK over in the UK
Great video Warren glad to see your getting this disassemble to fix the oil leak. Clean up looks like fun but I'm sure you'll get it done. Looking forward to your next video stay safe Warren.
Please people watching these videos. Please leave a thumbs up for Warren and share his videos. I'm a viewer I would know him if he came up and bit me on the face. But he sure is a hard-working man sharing his talents so please help him
We use diesel fuel through a solvent blower to clean the engine once it’s tore down like that.. works great, lil messy but throw couple pcs cardboard under the truck to catch chunks and diesel or mineral spirits dries right up
You make it look easy but I know you have to gain experience doing the job many times, I applaud your skill and craftsmanship, thanks for opening a small window on your jobs!!
As others may have suggested- get yourself a step or wood box over brake drum - my old ass would have ended up doing a “ barrel roll “ and ended up swallowing a wrench. Love your videos, be careful.
Warren your the master, it is always nice to have a guy like you in an arsenal of mechanics that you can call when I get stuck, I got some real good ones but your tops.
The overhead sure looks clean for the amount of miles. Maybe it is better you did not pressure wash it, because if stuff leaks out the also stuff can leak in.
He ain’t much for tightyness or clean work space but the man can fix anything.. if my shop or work truck looked like his I’d have an anxiety attack but hey, works for him
Somewhere there is an engineers club. They get together every Tuesday evening. Their goal is to ensure that every task a mechanic has to do is far more complicated than it need be.
I have to laugh at the people who say.... it just needs a gasket why does it cost so much..... hahahaha They don't understand what it takes to do the job right.
this far in, with that many miles, wouldn't it be a good idea to do an inframe now, instead of being broken down on the side of the road, with a way, way more expensive repair?
I like Western Truck and Tractor better than Pakistani, mainly because they use too much time lapse. Also, while the little boys working are pretty amazing, shouldn't they be in school?
They are in school , school of hard knocks I grew up in a family business and looking back we fixed things didn't buy much forklift low on oil use oil out of something else we had a towing dismantling business and dad only bought what he didn't have dam rough way to learn but big advantage as a field mechanic now .

THERE EITHER BACKYARD MECHANICS OR JEALOUS OF HIS INTELLECT.
It'd be even better if he could find good help... his business could be huge
In addition to his natural intelligence he’s got an incredible memory.
His work ethic is epic.
With all the praise we heap on him he remains humble.

Thanks for the video, you were kinda scaring me standing on those drums, and that looks like a lot of cleaning. G-d bless.
He ain’t much for tightyness or clean work space but the man can fix anything.. if my shop or work truck looked like his I’d have an anxiety attack but hey, works for him

A brush and some super clean would be a good job for Trent😂😂😂
We had some of them rocker box crack around that right rear corner. Have not seen it in a while though
👍👍have a good day man
Adjust the front brake tite so the drum wont move ps great Video
Thank you.
Good man excellent work
Good video love it
Could you adjust the front brake up so the drum doesn't spin on you? Don't want to see you hurt. Maybe a dumb question. Enjoyed the video. Thanks
I wonder if Warren could just tighten up the brakes to hold the drums from turning? I am not sure if it has automatic slack adjusters.
Clean inside to have over 1 million on it.
👍👍👍
Biggest pos motor ive ever seen in my shop. FYI. Better bag the injectors with diesel fuel or they will stiction on you Love Your 1 man Band.
How much does that cost to do?🤷♂️🤔

Not my or my money.
@@westerntruckandtractorrepa1353 understood.. How many hours did/does this job take?
So if you have to be that cautious with the rocker shafts that begs the question are they not really man enough for the job .
Replace cam bearings while you're at it?
What cam bearings?
@@westerntruckandtractorrepa1353 My bad, looked like bearings in there when you removed the clamps and cam itself.
Need to build a ladder that fits over the wheel.
If anybody complains about there repair bill show them a video and they will learn it's not so easy!
