Anyone who’s thinking about taking these programs, do it. I completed Bold Eagle 32 last month and now I’m in the Army reserves. I’ll never forget the experience and training I obtained from that program.
I just got done my bmq in Quebec. Carcajou was all in French but for me (English speaking) it wasn’t that hard. But it was fun. I’m getting transferred to my unit either. This september or next September. I’m pretty excited to get to my unit !
Beliasa im not certain but I do know its best to start the process as soon as possible as it is a long process. I know the 6 week courses are done in the summer and aloy is usually at the start of a school year. I took cfaep at st.jean around the end of feb.
Decided! This is what I want to go for! I do have a few questions on this though. -Is it still 3 weeks for basic training for the Aboriginal Entry Program? -Just to clarify. Can First Nations still apply for the AEP? -Would I be able to apply at some point in 2025? Using the current time to condition myself!
Hi there, you can learn more about our programs specifically for Indigenous peoples here: forces.ca/en/programs-for-indigenous-peoples/cafiep/ Yes- The Canadian Armed Forces Indigenous Entry Program (CAFIEP) offers a three-week program for Indigenous peoples who are considering a career in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). During the program, you will get hands-on experience with military training, careers and lifestyle with no obligation to join the CAF after completing the three weeks. You can apply at anytime :forces.ca/en/apply-now/
Hopefully, I will get into the ALOY program this year. Just finished going through the appointments at the recruiting center and did the tests required. Planning to become a signal officer or somewhere in the technology department later on in the forces.
i went and got a response right away im just waiting on transcripts from university and he told me about a medical exam and interview my question is thats just like a physical right ? i know how to do an interview lol the medical exam is just medical or a fitness test as well ?
I'm turning 30 in a couple months is it too late for me? I wanna do this so bad. My education I have is only up to Grade 10, but I have my Heavy Equipment license and was givin a test that was equivalent to Grade 12 and I passed. I'm interested in this and want to give my life more meaning.
As a FN you can pass the border freely live and work . I'm Canadian born but could join the us army if I wanted to as I can get my green card easily with my status.
Hey I emailed and haven't got a response yet. My questions were. Since I'm abboriginal and want to join the army. But as a dental officer or physiotherapist or flight control center with no experience at all. I was wondering how does the training work ? Thanks
It is just cultural based on aboriginal heritage combined with basic training.. You know the people that were indigenous to the land have lost traditions that the descendants of those peoples want to reconnect with and is very spiritual for them.
@@travisperrier6904 so then “reconnect” with your traditions and spiritual beliefs in some other way, and not in the armed forces. I cannot stand those who virtue signal about the natives and how “they’ve lost so much” but they don’t actually care. Like me- I couldn’t give rat’s ass about their nonsensical primitive beliefs, but at least I don’t pretend to care.
@@dantheman669 you're obviously the slow class lol the canadian government integrated the programs into basic training it's not my fault im answering your question you uneducated fool
@dantheman669 late reply, but at least they have the courage and bravery to serve and sacrifice, unlike you and your dying race of people lol hurry up and die off ALREADY!!!
