I'm sure there's a good reason so I've got to know. I've been out a couple of times but haven't fished yet. I didn't understand the rod holder until I saw you have your rod upside down. I guess that's the only way that rod's going stay in there on a decent bite yeh
20.11.18 - we have two of these beauties going on two month and they handle the creeks, rivers and dams well, this weekend were heading to the beach to try them out.
I use screw to mount the base plate. Electric motor is a life saver if you get tired paddling :-) I'm using 18lb motor, 3.5 kph at low speed and just below 5 kph at high speed.
Its depend on how long are you going to use the sounder. I'm keeping the size small, Jaycar 12V 4.5Ah SLA Battery. It fits in the box underneath the LowrenceHook2-4xGpsFishFInder.

It’s set up down the side so that you can use the pulley to bring it to you. There are a heap of YT videos showing how to install one.
Where do you put fish?
Do you have a guide on how you set up your sounder and transducer?

Yes, I made it. I only want to utilise existing screws and don't want to drill new holes.
how do u find that sounder im looking at the same one as i juts purchased the same yak
Its just a simple sounder works only on Sonar. It does the job for me, mainly for depth and way point.

Does yours take on much water? I just got one and it seems to really fill up
Was it from the paddles or rough water? I'm able to keep it dry.
@@han.soedira took it out on a quiet lake and the scupper holes were allowing a heap of water that didnt drain out, wondering if mines faulty.

Can you stand up and fish what’s the stability like ?
Yes you can stand up and reach the front hatch, but this is a compact small kayak.
How’s the storage? Like for catching fish
This kayak is intended for fishing but its not a big kayak. Milk crate won't fit at the back but it has descent space to carry fishing gear.
Where did you get the barttery from and is it safe
You can get it at Jaycar (Australia). Yes it is safe as long you wired it properly.
