- Igloofest is an outdoor music festival held every January and February on weekends at the Old Port of Montreal. Considered a tough sell when first launched in 2007, it now draws the best local & international DJs and crowds in the tens of thousands, regardless of freezing cold temperatures that can dip as low as -40° with windchill. Offering drinks, marshmallows, games and tacky snowsuit contests, Igloofest has grown into one of Montreal's coolest most unique festivals, garnering awe in the music industry and establishing itself as the preeminent winter music festival on Earth.

Working and setting up the festival grounds of Igloofest last winter really was special I will say, not sure if I'd ever do it again 'cause it's definitely not an easy gig

I live in Montreal and we dont get minus 30 degrees often .. maybe 4 days per winter .. we are February the 10 th 2023 and it is 4 c and will be like this for the next week .. check the national weather for average temperature and you will see it is not that cold
