Dean, I live for these videos! I can’t express how excited I get when I see a new video from you. I could sit back and listen to you show your love for video games and the Xbox 360/PS3 era of gaming for hours. (That’s my favorite gen of gaming) I’m an Xbox gamer mainly and am going to be purchasing a lot of these games you showcased that I don’t already have. I have roughly over 80 Xbox 360 games already and just want to keep filling out my collection. I’m OCD about my games though so I have to have the original case, manual, and a clean case for me to purchase the game. Please keep uploading when you feel okay to, Dean. Don’t ever feel obligated to post just to make the one video a week like you wish to. Thanks for making such amazing videos!
Agree completely. Don't feel obliged Dean but these videos are fantastic. As I watched I had an excel spreadsheet open writing down the games I now need to buy.
I'm also ocd about my games but I will have to resort to Music Magpie to get some of these, I'm afraid, as you just can't find them anywhere else where I am (UK). There are no more second hand games shops - it's all gone online. I do buy replacement green cases though, which makes it feel a little more sanitised!
@@snottersofsnot8644 Yes, our big retail stores here called Gamestop rarely have anything from the 7th gen or older now, it's all XB1 & PS4 games only for used so we have to go to what's left of local retro stores or mostly online shopping.
I apparently listed a game in this video as non backwards compatible but thanks to a kind viewer I realized my mistake, sorry about that friends, my short term memory is not too good right now.
Great vid Dean! The fact you have zero desire to profit off your content, speaks volumes to your character. Perfect timing on the upload as well. Just finishing mowing grass, laying down to relax before my college graduation dinner tonight w/the wife’s parents. Keep the great content coming my friend!
Hey Dean can't believe its been 5 months since I first commented on this video. I had to comment again as I re-watched it again and saw how much our taste in games are alike as many of the games you showed on here I now have but on PS3 while you have them on 360. I think the only big difference is while you lean big on racing I lean more on JRPGs but love this channel as with each video I see the passion you have towards these games as I do towards mine and its all genuine. I want to say it was this video that brought me to your channel and every video I watch is a treat. I can honestly say its a joy and invaluable content that I've spent from your first video to where I am right now as I know I still have another year of your content. I am just happy to see you on youtube and can say this platform wouldn't be the same without channels like yours.
Your comment here means a lot to me, especially now as I've been going through some very challenging times. It's kindness like yours that inspires me to get back to what I truly love, my friend, thank you.
Hey Dean! Thanks for your patience with me as I delayed watching your video. Lots of turmoil last month (I'm fine). Really enjoyed hearing your takes on all these great games that aren't compatible on the new Xbox's. Playing through a few of the launch year and first few releases shows such a staggering amount that we are missing from that list. I wanted to make an addition to this list but I also know you made a part two so will check that out soon. Hope you're well!
Thanks for watching bud, I appreciate it & you should check out the other 36 I recommended & I had plenty more but didn't know enough about each one to talk about it so I skipped them.
Man, I love your videos … way too long, you get way off topic and you drink a gallon of water with an open mike. That’s why I love them … 100% authentic and good insight! Keep it up.
Always appreciate that you take the time to make lengthy content Dean. The Xbox 360 is certainly an important console and even just a few these games are justification enough to still own one (The Saboteur and Forza 4 in particular are two of my very favourite games). Stay well my friend!
I just came across your video im 55minutes in and man it’s cool to see somebody that enjoys all the game i like im currently playing tru the godfather and 007 blood stone and there fantastic anyway nice to see someone speaking about these more obscure games they don’t make em like they used to anymore great video!
Thanks for the video Dean … I’ve watch it all the way through twice … I use your videos as reference material as I continue to build my Xbox 360 library.
Delighted you enjoyed them my friend, thank you for the great feedback. I made a follow up to this video with 30 additional 360 games also not on the Xbox backwards compatible list. It's right after this one within my uploads.
Dean not only did I make it to the end but would of kept watching for many more hours. I love listening to your appreciation for games. Thanks for the video and will look forward to the next one. Take care and stay safe out there.
Well thank you my friend, that really made my day. The upload I did after this video had a additional 30 more 360 games, also not on the Xbox backwards compatible list.
@vinniecorleone62 Thanks to you too buddy. I loved my 360 but was a young man in his first job with no money. To be able to go back and pick up these games that passed me by is a real treat.
Hey Dean, I made it to the end and loved the video! You have a great unique taste in games which is a refreshing spin on what I am usually recommended. I have picked up a lot of great games that I may not have picked up based on your recommendations! Keep up the great work.
I just re-watched again while doing data entry for my job. So many games I need to explore and try out. It's very hard to narrow down which games to get on my first watch. Thanks again for the in-depth look at the 360 and what games are not backward compatible.
Check on my uploads for the video after this one, I made a follow up video with an additional 30 Xbox 360 games not on the Xbox backwards compatibility list. Thanks so for watching & for such positive feedback, I appreciate it.
You went out and bought John Woo movies after playing Stranglehold, 😆 🤣 😂, I'm opposite I bought Stranglehold after watching John Woo movies, great selection of games and nice to see someone as passionate about games as I am, subscribed.
The ones based on what I saw from this I'm currently hunting down are Kane & Lynch: Dead Men (Interesting story, it shares the same universe as Hitman does), Full Auto, The Club, Gun, NFS: Most Wanted (2005), The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, Stranglehold, Wolfenstein, and Singularity. If there's one that I'm interested for it to be on there, it's The Bourne Conspiracy. Have you heard of it? A Bourne tie in movie game. WIth the Activision deal in play, the old games are in question. What about the old Tony Hawk games? True Crime? The Marvel games? The Sierra games like Scarface or The Bourne Conspiracy? I'm out there collecting 125 games for the OG Xbox and the 360, all based on what I heard or played from my childhood. I gotta get 'em all before the very end of 2024.
Thanks for watching & for sharing your games you like within that category of non backwards compatibility. I have heard of those you added to my list but for whatever reason haven't tried yet. There's a metric ton of terrific 360 games worth owning, I have around 300 Xbox 360 games & another 300 original Xbox games, give or take.
I love your insight and style of doing this kind of video, I was looking to find Non Backwards Compatable games I missed as a kid, now 24 making a list and trying these out on an Emulator. Thanks for this, this will help future generations. Also your rant at the end was very powerful and spoke to me.
A very kind comment, I appreciate it my friend. Thanks for watching, I made a video right after this one with 30 additional 360 games not on the Xbox backwards compatible list.
Thank you for the kind support, since 2012 I've only done this for the love of the gaming community & good folk like you looking for honest content my friend.
Hey Dean. I watched your video all the to the end! Phew that was an epic one dude! But I really enjoyed it. There were a lot of games I wasn't aware of, that you mentioned. Stranglehold sounds interesting! I already have Wolfenstein 2009 and Singularity, which I bought on your recommendation! You have been the biggest single influence on my video game collection. So thank you very much Dean. I have only been gaming for about 5 years! Cheers mate and take care on those ladders!
Delighted you are enjoying gaming, there's a enormous world to explore between the various consoles & generations my friend. Thank you for watching & for your very kind comment here, enjoy those games.
Literally exactly what I was looking for. Everything else I could find was asked or posted like 3 years ago. So some of the games had sense been added. Glad to see a video made after Microsoft announced the end of their backwards compatibility project.
I really appreciate your feedback on this, I had seen videos on favorite games within the MS Backwards Compatible list but nothing on good or great games Not on their list which is why I made it my friend. I made a follow up video with 29 more I found & wanted to share, please feel free to enjoy it too & thanks for watching man.
Awesome video. I'm just now getting back into console gaming after spending all of last-gen on PC. I bought the Xbox One S, Xbox 360, and base model PS4 all in the last few years. I forgot how awesome the Xbox 360 was. I owned a 360 from 2006 to 2013 but traded it in for the Xbox One when it released. I ended up selling both the Xbox One and the PS4 I bought at launch with within months. I live in the south and high speed internet wasn't a thing in my area at the time. I switched to PC and stayed there for almost the entire last-gen, but Xbox 360 was truly my favorite console of all times. I played and finished more games on that platform than any other system I ever owned. You've given me some great ideas for games to pick up and check out.
I'm delighted you enjoyed the video, I also loved the original Xbox & especially the 360 as I too played & finished more games on it than any other console, I still play on my 360 often as the game all play great offline to this day. I did a follow up video to this one with around 30 additional Xbox 360 games to talk about, all not on the Xbox backwards compatible list my friend, feel free to enjoy it when you can.
@@vinniecorleone62 I'm sure I will revisit these videos often. I picked up a few 360 games during the black Friday sales and I was hooked again. I found your video because I was looking for games to keep an eye out for at my local used game store.
Made it all the way, Dean. I always appreciate your videos and how you keep it real. Keep them coming brother. Flatout Ultimate Carnage is my favorite racing game on the 360. So much fun and the soundtrack is amazing as well.
Delighted you dug my vid bud, thanks so much for the encouraging words man. You can't beat the many hours of intense racing with that "Flat-out Ultimate Carnage", not many have played it.
Dean! I took you up on your suggestion for Need for Speed The Run.. man I love that game so much. So unique to race through all these different areas and climates, what a cool experience it was.
I'm delighted you enjoyed "NFS The Run", it's a highly under-rated arcade racing game far too many dismissed. Thanks for the awesome feedback my friend.
I really enjoy your videos and how you really go in-depth with each game. So many channels push out videos that are only like 15 minutes or less but they have over 100 games. Its fine if your in a rush I guess but I enjoy videos that are over an hour long or longer even movies I have no issues with a 4+ hours long. Just watching your videos has added more games to my already big collections of games. However, I know I'm in the minority in that and youtube doesn't really want to push videos that long. Just glad I found your channel.
Thank you for watching & for the kind feedback, if you enjoy long videos you came to the right place my friend. I will be filming a new one today in fact to upload this weekend.
Just discovered your channel I enjoy your list of games and how you present them. I been gaming since Atari 2600 days and Xbox 360 definitely one of my favorite consoles I have 3 totes of them (couldn’t tell you how many) lol unfortunately I’m totes as a bunch of my games and systems were ruined by flood last year in my basement I did subscribe and like btw. Look forward for future videos
Great stuff. I got into collecting because of your channel and a few other years ago. Haven't looked back since. There is still loads of this batch of games I haven't got. Should have picked them up years ago when they were like 1 or 2 euro each
I hear you, I still regret getting rid of so many great games years ago & now having to buy them all back. I appreciate your kind comment & for taking the time to watch my channel my friend.
Always pleasure to watch these . I’m going to save last hour of this video to work and listen there , time flies that way while working . Already saw you show Army of two, those games i have thought about playing for years but have not picked them up all these years . Thanks for this video
I watched this video last month & you're description of John Woo's Stranglehold intrigued me, so I went & bought a copy. MAAAAN! It is beyond fun & insane. I'm having a blast with it.
60!!!!Above and beyond man. Awesome idea dean. Heading in to work third shift but this definitely gives me something to look forward to on my day off tomorrow. Can’t wait to watch it.
We’ll worth the wait to watch this. Your passion for these games shows and I definitely added a few more games to my wishlist after this video. Couldn’t agree more about NFS The Run. Awesome content to unwind with. Thanks dean.
@@vinniecorleone62 this channel is very underrated. You’re always mentioning games I’ve either forgotten about or never heard of. Not to mention how this channel has renewed my interest in strategy guides. I’ve bought more than I should have recently. Very intrigued about the top gun game. I’ve recently had my father in law move in with us and he’s taken over my game room with my PS4 and Series X. He’s definitely happier here and seems to be getting healthier so my wife and I are thrilled we could help him out. I’ve been firing up my 360 and PS3 in the living room lately and this video came at the perfect time. Turning point caught my eye as well. I’m done rambling now Lol.
New to the channel, I love most of these games too. Sometimes I wonder why they have been reviewed so bad, my favourites are Dead to Rights, Inversion and 007 - Blood Stone. Am glad there’s someone who publicly acknowledges these well done games that deserve some love too. Subscribed.
I love "Dead to Rights Retribution" & "007 Blood Stone", both are genuine treats to enjoy. I'm delighted you found this video enjoyable & really appreciate you watching & for following the channel, thank you my friend.
I have watched and listen it until the end at least 3 times. I love these videos when I update all my PS3 and XBox360 games. It is a long and patient work to update a few hundred games one by one. But I love them.
My man Dean! I said "fuck it" and decided to subscribe, give two thumbs up, and leave a comment!!! I plan to seek out some of these more obscure 360 titles. I've been a fan of the 360 since day one. Guitar Hero - Metallica was one huge reason to still own a 360! And Saboteur rocks!!! I recall going into my local Game Stop to purchase the last three 360E versions for $100 + tax brand new in box with controllers!!! Gotta love picking up deals at the end of a console life cycle...:) Trying to find a new 360 controller alone will now cost you mega bucks!!! Keep on making more vids dude and I'll keep watching and commenting!!! Seeya on the next one!!!
I appreciate the enthusiastic heavy support & I'm thrilled you're enjoying the content my friend, that's why I do it. Thanks for watching & for your excellent feedback man.
you are correct sir. I liked your video before you even mentioned it because I wanted to. When people repeat the "like, comment and subscribe" mantra I often roll my eyes and make sure I do neither.
I agree wholeheartedly, it wears on me every time I hear the car salesman.mantra to like, comment & sub, how many more decades do we all have to endure the trite commercial pitch. Thank you for watching & for taking the time to comment, I really appreciate it my friend.
The topic you brought up at the end regarding Xbox digital game purchases and the ability to play your game in offline mode really needs to be resolved by Microsoft. It's perplexing to think that they can't create some kind of digital key system that's linked to your account or somehow stored on your console that can allow you to play your games regardless if their servers are up and running or not. Especially going forward with the series X and S where physical game disks don't even contain the information necessary to fully install and play the game. I believe this problem is also relevant for the Xbox One systems too.
I know my friend, I hear you loud & clear, so many have been far to quick to embrace all this DRM & online garbage so now we all pay for it, wondering just how long we can hang onto & enjoy "our games".
Stumbled across this video looking for Xbox360 game reviews. Really enjoyed it. Informative, honest and passionate. Watched it in it's entirety and I've added a fair few to my must play list! One more sub gained and will be sure to check out your other videos, ten years worth to look through from what you just said on this video lol :) Appreciated
Thank you for watching & for leaving positive feedback my friend, greatly appreciated. The upload after this one you just watched has a additional 30 more Xbox 360 games not on the BC list.
Really helpful for finishing my collection. Im stopping at around 450 games. Your videos are wonderfully presented. Feels like a chat with a mate. Good vibes. Thanks for taking the time to share. Given what you are saying about being absorbed in games Alien Isolation should be a challenge for you :)
Thank you very much for your kind supportive comment my friend, I appreciate you watching. I played the beginning of "Alien Isolation" & after several hours stopped as it was so immersive & well made I thought I would have a stroke from the stress, a very well crafted experience I later watched an entire playthrough of it & it's DLC, incredible game.
@@vinniecorleone62 agreed. It's the only game I have played where I was relieved it was finished and all over. I was stunned a game could have such an emotional effect on me. A true work of art I think.
such a awesome video brother, I can’t believe there’s so many games I never knew were out for the 360, def going to add a lot of the racing games to my collection. I never even heard of Import Tuner Challenge, it’s almost $50 for a used copy on eBay, definitely going to have to look for it at my local game shops. I had to rewatch this video twice since there’s many hidden gems I missed out on. Keep the videos coming bro! God bless ya n the fam!
Thanks brother, happy you learned about some great games you never knew of, you will love many of them bud. Thanks for your friendship & God bless you & your loving family bro.
Thank you Dean for another great video. I couldn't agree with you more about the passion for gaming and how politics should have no place or bearing for the love of collecting and enjoying each and every game in your collection. The gaming community is only as strong as the people that support it and have the passion like people like you within it. If I could like your videos twice I would. Keep up the great topics and VLOGs!
I was gettin worried you weren't going to include Wolfenstein Dean. Some of the best bullet damage in any game! Singularity is a treat too it really does suck Raven Software has been reduced to making COD map packs. Need for Speed shift 1 & 2 not being on back compat is a crime & the fact they don't have most wanted is a sin! I never tried that walking dead game but you have me interested. Maybe I'll get it for my PS3. Great video my man, enjoyed it. Usually it takes me a week to watch your video's lol only cause of the length but I watched this one all the way through :)
Thanks bro for toughing it out through another one of my long ass vlogs, I appreciate it & you as we share similar taste in many games. What's the matter with your new 360, you could buy some of these games for it like the two "NFS Shift" games or "Most Wanted", let alone "The Walking Dead Survival Instincts" which has very simplistic graphics but very good game-play & a very interesting progression through numerous back roads or highways to traverse the map exploring & collecting resources any way you choose, so good.
I'm glad to see you're still making videos. That's a great list, some stuff on there I need to try. I don't game as much as I used to. I have gotten into trying to collect as many of my favorite movies as I can before they're updated for modern audiences. Or ruined as I like to say. Take care Dean.
First off, wonderful to hear from you again, I miss your own videos my friend. I have close to 5000 films & TV shows in my collection I spent decades building but now I need to upgrade the remainder of VHS movies to at least DVD, I have prioritized collecting games instead since 2011.
@vinniecorleone62 wow! That's an impressive collection. I'm up to about 1100 movies. I still pick up games here and there too. By the way I did make it to the end of the video, I enjoy your take on games.
@@rdrcub3 I could purchase a new C'8 Corvette convertible for what I spent on that film library as 95% of them I spent full price when new every single weekend after getting paid for decades but I refuse to rebuy all my favorite movies in 4K, I just can't afford it so DVD's & regular Blu-ray films are just fine now.
@vinniecorleone62 I buy 4ks on rare occasions but am very happy wit BluRays and DVDs. They're a ton of places around here where you can get used dvds for 1 or 2 bucks, you can't beat that
@radarcannon I need to locate a good local source for old DVD's & Blu-ray's here in Boise Idaho, I have a good size list of VHS replacements I should start working on, now that they're a couple bucks & not the $20 to $25 each I paid for them all when new in the 90's & 2000's.
Excellent topic Dean. Quite a few of my favourites 360 titles aren't compatible at all. A while ago I did a small test, just picked a couple to see if they would play and most didn't.
Thank you Mark, most kind. That's why I obtained 2 new 360 "E" models with the 500GB HDD because we have to preserve our ability to continue to enjoy so many of these gems for years to come my friend.
Sorry I have never played "Prototype, I have missed out on a few games over the years here & there, it's just too challenging to play everything. Thank you for watching my friend, I appreciate it.
Great video and list, man. Watches all the way through and didn't realize it was 90 minutes loll. So glad you mentioned Blur, it's one of me and my wife's favorites. Some notable games (not BC) for you to check out if you haven't already; Ninja Blade, Remember Me, X-Blades, Alice Madness Returns, Blades of Time (sequel to X-Blades), Lollipop Chainsaw and Bulletwitch. Highly recommend Ninja Blade though.
Thank you for watching & for your excellent recommendations my friend. I made another one of these right after this one that has an additional 30 more 360 games worth checking out.
@@vinniecorleone62 Awesome, I think I actually watched it after I watched this video or yours. I just appreciate gamers who love and are aware of underrated gems. Some of the best games are slept on and its a shame because nowadays all anyone cares about is Call of Duty Warzone or Fortnite. I truly believe the PS2 and 360 had some if not The Best games out there. Even the B games are fun.forgot to mention one game I would consider cheesy and bad, but so bad its good. And thats Jurassic The Hunted. If you want over the top violence where the voice acting is bad and you just blow away dinosaurs, look no further. 😆
@decepticonmark Thanks for taking the time to leave great feedback, I really appreciate it & your recommendation, which I will add to my list of games to find my friend, thanks!
Just heads up Dean actually love your long play game collection videos . After stressful day or week of work to be able sit back with a beverage and chill out watching your video's is awesome. Thanks mate
Hey Dean I enjoy and watch all your videos all the way through and I always make sure I give you a thumbs up even before watching. I remember 1st finding your channel years ago looking up tips for Mad Max. And have been watching ever since. Keep up the great work my friend.
A most generous & kind supportive comment my friend, thank you for that & I'm thrilled you enjoy my content & those "Mad Max" videos, I need to return to that game soon, I miss it.
Great video man! some really good underrated co-op games , I had a lotta fun playing army of TWO: devils cartel and terminator: salvation - shame they don't make many good couch co-op console games anymore. it was nice to hear how candid you got at the end there, stay safe brother.
Hi Dean, just getting back into 7th gen gaming, lots recommendations I got from this video. You have such a passion and impartial outlook on games that just get swept under the rug..... really refreshing..... subbed.... thank you
Excellent long video. I like long videos it gives you time to talk and not rush. Stoked was such an awesome game! Im still looking for that top gun game looks cool.Only game I didnt find so cool on this list is naild I thought it was a bit lacking, I will go back to it one day though. I played a lot of Quantum of Solace even online that game was great.
Glad you enjoy my long winded content bud, not everyone has the patience to sit through long videos. Most of these games can be found online if needed, good luck going after the ones you want my friend.
@Relative Strength Advantage Thanks so much. By the way if you want an additional 30more games not on the Xbox backwards compatible list, check out the upload right after this one as I found plenty more.
Hello... I by chance stumbled upon your channel and I loved this particular offering. It turned me on to a few gems that I was unaware of and will pickup soon. Personally I loved Split Second as a arcade type racing game. I did watch this video that I'm commenting on until the end. Thanks for doing that video. I'm a 66 year young gamer that loves the 360 and all platforms in general and all things gaming. Again, loved the vid and I'll check out the rest of your stuff in a bit. It's a freezing night here in Niagara Falls NY so I'm bored LoL. Currently I'm at chapter 6 in Dead Space 1 and I have the other two games to get through after that then maybe some Alan Wake? IDK? Have a nice night and TTYL. Ken..... Oh! I finished RAGE , very Kool but short! Way to darn short!!! Sadly....😞
Thank you for watching & taking the time to leave a nice personal comment Ken, I appreciate it. I just turned 60 so we are from a similar generation my friend. I love "Rage" & am glad you enjoyed it as well, I still need to play the sector it soon.
I love how you put in Army of Two The 40th Day and The Devil's Cartel in, along with Forza Motorsport 4, NFS Carbon and Most Wanted, Dirt 2 and even Import Tuner Challenge! I recently got myself The Club and Splatterhouse. Other games I would recommend being thrown into the 360-only list would be Deadpool 2013, Lollipop Chainsaw, NFS Prostreet, and a few Xbox Original Games like Scarface: The World Is Yours and NFS Underground 2.
I have "NFS Pro Street" & all the other ones in the series since the first, Ii could have added it & many others I had but was trying to keep the list to my favorites by & large. My next video should be the Original Xbox games notbon the backwards compatible Xbox list. Thanks for watching & for your input my friend.
Really enjoyed this video Dean, it's always cool to find new underrated games to add to my collection. Some of these I already own but some I will be picking up soon. Thanks for taking the time to show us great games, now I'm going to watch part 2 of this next lol
@@vinniecorleone62 I'm currently playing through Wolfenstein (2009) on the hardest difficulty and man can that game be tough at times during boss fights lol. Also playing Destroy All Humans Path of the Furon and it's pretty fun to cause chaos around the cities. I just passed Spider-man 3, soon gonna start Captain America Super Soldier, I'm a sucker super hero video games haha
Great list dude. That dream of one box to rule them all was so close, kudos to them for going as far as they did with backwards compatible games tho, and I guess a lot of the ones which didn't make it may have been left behind cos of publishing rights issues. You're lookin real healthy mate. Nice work.
I've discovered your youtube channel throught Steve Benway's shoutout. I can't belive that you have almost the same taste in video games like me. Thank you for entertaining videos.
Well thank you for being such a longtime viewer of my channel, it was very kind of Ben way to do that shout-out, I just wish he hadn't of put his political views as more important to our friendship. Thank you my friend for your nice feedback & enjoy your games.
Thank you for watching & leaving positive feedback, I really appreciate it my friend. There also is a video I uploaded right after this one with 30 more games not backwards compatible.
Started watching this last night but didn't finish it, so sitting here with my dinner munching and watching along. Really enjoyed this one Dean and seeing and hearing about games I haven't seen. Watching your videos always make me want to pick up a controller. I am currently playing Death Stranding which is definitely different from anything I have really played before but I'm enjoying the more chilled out atmosphere of the game even though it is a bit creepy and I have no idea what is going on at the moment. Anyway great to listen along as I said and will be listening more. Sorry to hear about differences between you and other but that is the nature of life I guess. I don't go near twitter as it just makes me annoyed. Have a great day Dean, on to the next video I need to catch up on now.
A very kind & generous message you have left here Bob, it's good folk & feedback like yourself that inspires me to make this content, so happy you found it interesting & I greatly appreciate the nice support mate, thank you.
Came across your channel by accident as was looking at Xbox 360 backlogs good channel and can’t believe you have a great selection of obscure titles which look interesting. Was hoping to move on from 360 but there is always something interesting I always pick up. Recently bought syndicate, remember me and ace combat event horizon. I’ve sub to your channel and hope to see more great vids
Thank you for the nice comment & support my friend. I made a follow up to this video with 29 good additional 360 titles as I found more so feel free to check it & my other videos out. I have a Playlist with many Top Selection videos to watch when time permits.
Well, this is why I love your channel so much Dean. These X Box 360 games I learned to know by my magazine, some reviews and this wonderful yt channel. At that time I had no og X Box nor PS3. I stepped from my PS2 into the X360 world because I hated that Sony took away the backwards compatibility for the PS2 games and it lasted until I was playing my PS4 Pro end 2018. Begin 2019 when I went single again after break up with my sons mom. The PS4 Slim we had went to her new place for the kids. And my son got the Pro at my place for his Fortnite and other kiddy games. I played my 360 until I both a X Box One S in 2019. Than collected for PS3 as I found a used one for €40. Later I bought a X Box One X with Star Wars Fallen Order Deluxe Edition. Later on I found a Cristal Clear X Box and a Death Stranding PS4 Pro. My favorite X360 games are Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, Star Wars:The Force Unleashed, GTA IV: Episodes from Liberty City, The Lost and Damned. Left for Dead for couch-coöp, GTA V finished the story mode, it is one of the rear games I ever finished.
Thanks Mario for your list of great consoles & favorite games you enjoy, I really appreciate your kind support & great comments my good friend, thanks again.
@@vinniecorleone62 yes, you once said you left social media. I use it for quick sharing photos and little videos. But it is also a trash pit with stupid people who understand little or nothing. Another good reason to own a X Box360 is that it is backwards compatible with og X Box games and has a HD out for playing on modern TV. Even more than a X Box One or a X Box Series console.
I found this video really interesting. Theres some things I agree with like enjoying the Riddick series along with Forza Horizon and Need for Speed Most Wanted, but theres a bunch of games you like that I absolutely hate. Particularly Turning Point, Rogue Warrior, Solidier Of Fortune and Terminator Salvation. I wonder was the bit you got stuck on in Terminator Salavation the section where the Terminators attack you in the subway. I got repeatedly killed when the terminators punched me through the wall due to bad clipping bugs. I actually threw the box against the wall then traded it in after that. Subscribed!
Thank you for your candid opinion on my video, I'm well aware some of these games aren't popular with most gamers but I often find the fun in many games that have mixed reviews or even bad ones, the very nature of fun & interesting is quite subjective but worth sharing my friend.
Yes, I tried & most old Xbox games just don't work on a 360 including some supposed backwards compatible ones. Thanks for watching & for your input my friend.
@@vinniecorleone62 what’s very annoying is Microsoft doesn’t make the original xbox games that don’t work on xbox 360 work on xbox one they work only on original xbox games that worked with xbox 360 one of the original xbox games I want to work is SVC chaos SNK Vs Capcom it’s a fighting game that was only on the original xbox to play it on PS2 you would need a Japanese PS2 console if you don’t mind it being in Japanese words
@@mikekanner2156 My modded 2 original Xbox consoles I can install & play virtually any old Xbox game but on my modded PS2 only certain PS2 games can successfully be installed, for example "Manhunt 2" can be installed so you can play it straight off the hard drive perfectly while the first "Manhunt" game you can't install & need to play it via the disc & DVD drive.
Good man, always have a good working 360 because there's literally hundreds of great games to play not on the Xbox Series-X backwards compatible list. Thanks for watching my friend.
Great list of games here Dean, the 360 was fantastic when it came to software and was my go to for multi platforms. Many of the ones you brought up I thankfully have. La Noire is still one of my favorites of that generation, I will return to that game every few years to be transported back to that 1940s setting. Full Auto was panned by critics but I absolutely loved that game. The amount of destruction in it was mind blowing. Also had a ton of fun just cruising in Test Drive Unlimited, another game that I just got lost in. I enjoyed the Walking Dead Survival Instinct despite what critics said and still have my review up on my old channel. I stand by what I said in that review, while flawed there is fun to be had there. Have you ever played Legendary? It’s made by the same team that made Turning Point, I think you might enjoy it. I still need to get a few of these like Inversion, The Saboteur, Bloodstone 007, and Stranglehold. All games I missed out on but always wanted to play! Always enjoy your videos Dean, political or religious views be damned. Hate it when people allow things like that destroy friendships. Stay healthy bud, looking forward to more videos!
A very nice comment bud, thank you for sharing your opinion on some of these games mentioned. I will have to watch your review of "The Walking Dead SI" & others, I probably did watch it when new as I watched many great games you reviewed then as I love opinions within various reviews & typically will watch many of them on each game as it came out. I am doing a 2nd part to this one with many more 360 games my friend.
Dean: I would've watched this video in 1 sitting, even if it was 10 hours. No exaggeration. The longer the better. Guess what? This isn't the case with 90% of the YT'ers I'm subscribed to. Really enjoyed this one. Particularly enjoyed "Import Tuner Challenge" finally receiving some attention in one of your videos. My history with that franchise dates back to the release of 'Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2' on Sega Dreamcast in 2000. Upon seeing it's graphics running for the first time? Well, it's on a very short list of my "Biggest wow moments" in vidgaming history. It remains in my top 3 Sega Dreamcast titles of all-time. Sidenote: Mark's (Classic Game Room) reviews of these Tokyo Racer titles are falling down hilarious. 'Rolling Guy', busting caps, etc 🤣. Next subject: if my memory serves, you own a copy of that Turkok strategy guide in your collection. I remember because I think the cover is ripped. Lastly, if you add a part 2, to this video, will you consider featuring these titles? Darkest Of Days, Battlestations: Pacific, Trials HD (Triple Pack), and Rockstar Table Tennis. These games are in my personal 360 collection, and I'd value your input on them. Take care and please keep safe. Vinny Edit: it appears Battlestations and Rockstar Table Tennis are actually backwards compatible. My bad.
Thank you brother, I appreciate your encouraging words & support as always my friend. Don't feel bad, I mentioned a couple games in this video that I showed in my backwards compatible video, my memory is pretty bad now. Delighted you enjoy this one, I'm making a part 2 soon to it with more bud.
This is the exact type of video I was looking for because Iremembered playing a ton of games that aren’t sadly backwards compatible so I picked up a 360
Excellent choice obtaining a good working Xbox 360 as there's a metric ton of fantastic games for whatever reason not on the backwards compatibility list. Thank you for watching & for sharing your thoughts on this, I appreciate it my friend.
I recently found your channel and love your videos like this. There is way too much toxicity in the gaming community and your channel is the opposite of that. I also share your love for the PS360 era. You've given me a list of games I need to check out.
hi Dean, that was a great list of non backwards compatible games on Xbox 360, do you still use any forms of social media that anyone who is new to your channel, might be able to find you on please?
No, only YT & email thompsonfineart@msn.com Thanks for the kind comment, I have a follow up video with 30 additional non backwards compatible games you should check out my friend.
@@vinniecorleone62 yes I watched the follow up video that you mentioned, I enjoyed that video too, plus I also have my own RUclips channel if you would like to check it out.
I loved that you mentioned how involved your imagination gets when gaming and how it can inspire you, I think many of the younger generation of gamers have lost the ability to use their imagination because they're expecting the graphics to do all the work for them, but if you grew up with the SNES or PS1 for example, then you HAD to have a good imagination to meet the game half way because the hardware wasn't powerful enough to create the illusion or the immersion, so in a way it was actually a more involved hobby back then. I recently found out that I have condition called "Aphantasia" this means I am "mind blind" and have no visual imagination, I cannot close my eyes and produce any kind of image in my mind, but i still have what I would call a conceptual imagination, I can still produce thoughts and ideas in my head but I'll just never be able to visualise them, so video games are really important to me in that respect. Sometimes I will see some visuals or hear a piece of music that inspires me so much that I have to just pause the game and really think about how all these components comes together to create these beautiful virtual experiences. Sometimes I'll spend hours just thinking about what kind of games I would love to make if I was a developer myself, and this is all without ever being able to actually visualise my own ideas, so imagination is very important and I wish people wouldn't take it for granted. Thanks for another wonderful video Dean and I'm very sorry for this extremely long message haha! Take care mate.
I loved your inspiring comment here my friend, wonderful points. I did a vlog a long time ago all about our imagination & how important it is to immersion, I had a C'64 so graphics were as basic as anything but to me I could visualize everything as it should be & was just as immersed as if I were playing "GTA5". Thank you for the kinds words of support mate.
Hay Dean , Happy to see you again brother ,as always a great video i like your list, actually xbox 360 is currently my most played console , although I own series X i refuse to play by Microsoft rules, they should allow us to save and play our games offline , still hoping for future update to allow offline backwards compatibility however I'll always keep my xbox 360 around. One more thing i would like to point out is that L.A Noire got remastered for xbox one i think that was the reason it's not included in the backwards compatibility list.
Thanks such for your encouraging kind commenty friend, I appreciate it. I also play my 360 a lot as it's got a tremendous array of gems to enjoy on it. I have the 4K remastered "LA Noire" game for my PS4 Pro, it's very nice.
@@vinniecorleone62 As a 51 year old gamer I absolutely love your content and this video is one of your best, your passion for gaming is very encouraging. Thanks again mate
Greetings Dean, I watched till the end and newly subscribed now. I enjoyed how wholesome the video is, the commentary behind the many games you enjoy and the vlog moments. I can definitely agree with what you said about NFS: The Run and why its so criminally underrated - the cinematic gameplay is epic and the 'cannonball' effect does not get boring when you are using different cars in each run. I only started collecting more seriously for the 360 since late last year so there are many games that you brought up that are newly added to my radar. I too hate it when politics separate people and destroy bonds. Stay safe and I'll be tuning in to more of your vids!!
I really appreciate you watching & for your very kind comment my friend, thank you. Delighted you found this helpful, you can check out my "Top Games" Playlist to see more videos like this one with hidden gems, etc. Enjoy your games man.
Congrats on picking up one of the finest consoles ever made my friend, enjoy collecting for it & playing the games, the 360 has so many fantastic games available on it.
I thank you for not being one of those people constantly nagging their audience to hit the like button and subscribe. I think it pushes people away more. Great video by the way love the games.
Lookin good man, sounding more healthy too! Can't believe you had energy for a 90 minute video today! I've had my eye out for those Test Drive unlimited games for a while but I just never see them. They're some of the last racing games I want for my collection. I still need to get that Riddick game too before it gets too pricey. Watching you show all these titles though reminds me just how many shooters came out on the 360. Do you know if it has the record for FPS releases?
Thank you buddy, I value your friendship & warm support man. I wouldn't be surprised if there's theist shooters on the 360 or 7th gen consoles as there are many more. I still have dozens more I can talk about so I will make a follow up to this one with more games to enjoy my friend soon.
Just came across your channel and saw this video and I want to say a quick THANK YOU for not following the sheep about Rogue Warrior I loved that game too…👍

Thanks so much for the kind & encouraging words my friend, very thoughtful of you . Best of luck with your collection & enjoy your games.
@@maggioo I will be filing a follow up to this video with more soon, thrilled you enjoy the content my friend.
LA Noire isn't b/c because they came out with an Xbox One version. Rockstar loves to resell the same game for a new system.
@@HunterAtheist True, as I discovered that by attending to install it, I have the remastered 4K version myself but to play one PS4 Pro.

Just finishing mowing grass, laying down to relax before my college graduation dinner tonight w/the wife’s parents. Keep the great content coming my friend!
Thanks for the encouraging words bro, I need to recapture my enthusiasm for making good content again man. Thanks for your friendship & support.

It’s a crime to not make army of two 40th day compatible
I thought so too, thanks for watching my friend.
Watched until the end….again. Great and relaxing video. Love ya Dean.

Thanks for watching & for your positive feedback my friend, I really appreciate it.

A true work of art I think.
this is a great video and topic, thank you for posting this!
Thank you for watching my friend & for the positive feedback, I appreciate it.
such a awesome video brother, I can’t believe there’s so many games I never knew were out for the 360, def going to add a lot of the racing games to my collection.
Most kind of you my friend, I greatly appreciate your support & friendship, very well stated bud.
Awesome Video Dean. I have some of these, looks like I will have to pick up a few more
I appreciate you watching my friend, delighted you're enjoying it.
Loved every minute, have you got a review on the prototype 1&2 a cex worker was convincing me to buy it
Sorry I have never played "Prototype, I have missed out on a few games over the years here & there, it's just too challenging to play everything.

Hi Dean, something in return. Not as good as your videos but I'm trying. Have a good sunday
One year it’s been since I found you
I'm glad you enjoy the content my friend.
I agree there are some original xbox games that you can’t play on Xbox 360
This is why I still got my 360 standing right next to me Series X.

@@vinniecorleone62 yeah man thanks. I'm definitely going to check out that Turning Point. There's a bunch I haven't heard of. Great video.
Vinny
Edit: it appears Battlestations and Rockstar Table Tennis are actually backwards compatible.
