Dean, I've watched the video twice now, haha. I love to see these pick-ups. Are you considering to do some updated in-depth collection videos at some point in the future? Lately I've been hot and heavy into Dreamcast again; a console I have owned and loved since it's release in September of 1999 and a very ahead of it's time system. Have you ever considered getting a DC, Dean? It's not the cheapest these days, but I can still recommend it. I think you'd enjoy it. There are a lot of unique and interesting games, and arcade style games, in particular a lot of racing games on the system. Many DC racers play at a buttery 60 FPS, and look a lot better than you might remember, especially on a good CRT or modern video up-scaling device. Today I acquired a copy of Vanishing Point and man this version is brilliant! Classic Game Room was totally off in his review. He mistook the baked in cornering animations for over-steer and it skewed his perspective on the controls. Test Drive V-Rally, F355 Challenge, Rush 2049, Speed Devils, and the list goes on. Even that 18 Wheeler Pro Trucker you showed was originally exclusive to DC a short time before SEGA pulled the plug on their own console. Honestly, I think a lot of the cross-plat games play better on DC, despite it being remembered as the failed system. Very underrated stuff, the fate of it still stings to this day. They simply ran out of money to keep supporting it.
Yes, I hope to do a variety of videos of my various retro collections, hopefully soon. I have heard there's potential disc rot issues with Dreamcast & Sega Saturn games, is that true? I like the Dreamcast but don't know enough about it. I need a HDMI video upscaler to utilize with my older systems using mainly composite, component or S-video inputs, a friend is holding a high end one & wants $300 for it.
@@vinniecorleone62 I've had a pretty robust Dreamcast and Saturn collection for many years and I've never personally had an issue with a disc. If you'd like, I can maybe at the very least keep an eye out for some Sega stuff. A Retrotink 5 is worth every penny of it's expensive price. It's a total game changer for playing older systems once you get that setup going. What really helps is if you get a "RGB scart" type video cable (available from Retro Access) and use those to connect your old systems to the upscaler like a Retrotink 5 which accepts "scart" input. The clarity of the image is like getting component quality from old consoles which never had such an option because North American TVs never had scart input like Europe did. Sega consoles in particular require no modding to use said cables, neither does Super-NES or PS1. N64 needs an RGB mod first. The better the cable type, the better the upscaler will work it's magic. So if no component or RGB scart, then S-video. Composite is always the last resort because it's not very good. Just an FYI, and hope you can get your retro systems up and running soon!
@@warmsignal Thank you for the wealth of information my friend, I value your opinion on these older consoles & getting them to work. I just got a free 20 inch CRT but it only has one coaxle port on the rear & no controller to set menu so I may scrap it.
Awesome video, Dean!! Receiving games especially those that have been well-looked after and pre-loved are a treat, such games are very difficult to find nowadays in a store or online in that condition at their age. I'm also very keen to try the rubber cement thinner, I have a couple of games that have stickers on the cover inlays that annoy me. I'll check out the pinned video shortly. Speaking of the yakuza, I have some recommendations. Yakuza 0 for PS4, while the whole game series is fantastic this one is personally my favorite with the story-telling and gameplay; its also fun seeing the old Toyotas the yakuza use as this game is set in the 80s. The next one is not a video game but a film called Black Rain with Michael Douglas. He is an American cop hunting down a Yakuza captain that escaped under his watch and it also takes place in the 1980s. I had a blast watching this on DVD with my dad the first time and I have rewatched it a couple of times. I hope that you are feeling much better my friend and may you enjoy those games in the pockets of freetime between work. Take care, Dean!
Thanks so much for your very supportive kind comment my friend which I always appreciate. My Sticker Removal video is within my Descriptions section under the video screen. I saw "Black Rain" more than once at the theater opening week when new, I bought it on Blu-ray a couple years ago & watched it with the last year finally, a very good Ridley Scott film, I value your recommendations & will certainly research that game man, thanks.
@@vinniecorleone62, it must have been epic seeing Black Rain in the cinema. Pity it was before my time as I was born in the 90s 🤣 However that's what I love about the old movies before the crap of political correctness in today's time and why I don't watch modern movies at all. I forgot to mention Blinx on Xbox is a fun game, it would have been better though if he was a tabby cat like mine or Vinnie. 😁
31:20 I have the Dreamcast version of that game. 44:00 Everyone had Dead Island when that came out, despite the bad reviews it gets. 45:02 I went to Gamestop recently to look for that game, they didn't have it; they are phasing out that generation. They printed me up the small list of X-Box 360 games they had left. 47:21 $14.99 pricy? With the sudden inflation due to stimulus checks, anything under $20 is considered cheap. I wouldn't hesitate to buy anything under the $20 mark. The Inflation Reduction Act (which it's gonna do the opposite of what it says) was just sign into law by Biden. So, expect prices to go up even more soon.
Thanks for your detailed comment brother, I always look forward to reading them. Yes, $15 is pretty cheap but I've been on a tight budget for months now paying off a bunch of expensive medical & dental bills so once I'm caught up I can go after the pricey Holy Grails again. Biden's typical lies are always horrendous for the working man to be sure bud.
Eagerly awaiting your thoughts on some of these games! Also wondering your thoughts on the news that the new psvr 2 will not support origin psvr games. I think that’s a giant mistake by Sony.
Oh wow Kyle!, I had no idea that early PSVR games would not be supported on the new hardware, that is problematic my friend. Filming a big new video tour tomorrow in fact, I had far too much to take care of today.
Frontlines fuels of war! A hidden gem. Definitely not the most polished game of all time but a great time on a budget. And dark sector is another hidden gem! Like you said very over the top. The flying blade weapon is great and very unique. Dark and gritty but I loved it. I've been trying to get hold of it recently.
Awesome gifts bro! That Bestine Solvent & thinner one of the best things to own if you hate those pesky stickers on game cases. It’ll take off any sticker, no matter how many layers of stickers the case has. I still have my first can I bought back in 2016, thanks to your How to Remove stickers video, I recommend to anyone who wants to take of any stickers or crazy adhesive. Keep the videos coming bro God bless!
Right on man. good to see a new vid. I know you have a thing with female leads but Control actually works with the female lead. The gun play and telekinetic abilities work well together. Very cool of Justin and Kyle to send you all those games. I havent gotten very many gaming stuff but i did upgrade the wifi in my house from regular ATT router to a Deco Mesh Wifi6 setup. Extremely happy with the improved signal strength. i dont know how you have your gaming area set up with internet access (if wired or wireless) but if you are wireless and find there are some dead spots... this Deco system will eliminate them. Its rated for 5800sq ft and my house is only half that so i have every inch covered (and then some). Oh, i did get a wiiu: zelda edition but thats about it.
It will be patched like all the others, there's a lot I like in it aside from the new age odd characters of course, I miss good fun open world sandbox games & with "GTA" now finished for me in numerous ways, especially being a horrendous live service rental this may be the only or perhaps last action packed game of it's kind my friend. I don't put much stock in reviews, especially ones looking to shit on a new game like many did with "Far Cry 6" & numerous others so I'm going to find the fun in it. Even Jeremy or Karak of ACG liked many aspects of the game but he is big on technical PC specs & performance so I can see much of that filtering his perspective & enjoyment of the reboot.
@@captiankirkgames4385 I probably spent close to an hour on the character creation then played the first mission which was pretty good, the shooting took me a few minutes to get used to but so far I like it. The new main characters are cringy, I only got too play it Saturday night as I was very busy & exhausted all weekend from a brutal long work week & too many errands & projects all weekend but I hope to continue it some more soon.
I know, I yell at the YT screen every damn time but they don't listen because in their mind they have the only solution, God forbid they actually have an open mind & try the only true way that works bud.
Great video like always! Dead Island is such a great game. The special edition looks similar to Dead Island Riptide's cover, and I'm assuming it comes with the zombie arena dlc. Hour of Victory is a WW2 game where you can play as 3 characters that have different play-styles. The Heavy, Sniper, and Stealth charters. Overall, I think it is not that well of a game with boring gameplay.
Thanks for leaving your comment on "Dead Island" which I also love quite a bit as I pre-ordered it when new & was blown away with the premise & execution. I know little about "Hour of Victory" but I certainly appreciate it as it was a good gift from a friend.
Awesome video matey. Great selection of racing game goodness across all those platforms :). Blinx is awesome. Difficult at times but very fun. Another one of those awesome Xbox exclusive titles. Frontlines fuel of war is one of my favorite FPS games of that generation. THQ really supported the Xbox 360 and put out slightly more games for that system over the PS3. The Outfit being another fave of mine. Despite the lack of single player options Shadowrun was still fun. Definitely the best £1.50 I spent for a 360 game lol. As much as I loved GTA that generation I was definitely more of a Saints row fan. The first 3 games were definitely the Best but I do like 4 and the Gat out of hell expansion as well.
Glad you enjoyed it mate, I certainly appreciate your support & solid comment on those games mentioned. I need to research "Saints Row 3" as a buddy of mine highly recommended it recently along with the first & second ones.
@@vinniecorleone62 oh I'm sure you'll enjoy them dude. Especially the first two. The series gradually went from serious to way over the top with each installment. It was interesting watching it slowly morph into total madness lol. My favorite feature is the fact you can create the main character. From 2 onwards you can even choose 1 of 3 accents for the character which was awesome. I naturally chose the London Cockney accent. I just had to :). As for the new Saint's row. Nope not for me. It's way to woke for me. And I can't stand wokeness
@@nomadlonestar8004 I'm not thrilled with the progressive wokeness in it either but I'm hoping I can enjoy the mindless fun of the sandbox, shooting & vehicle customization at least since the next "GTA" game will be woke & a live service affair.
Control is a fantastic game Dean, it's one of the very few games I ever bothered to get the platinum trophy for. Have you played Alan Wake yet? I really don't want to spoil anything but you should definitely play that before playing Control and it's DLC if you want the maximum effect.

That is indeed a large assortment of games you got gifted Dean, congrats! I hope you enjoy playing that Control game. I looked up a video of it and it looks unique for sure. You got a lot of cool old PS2 racing games too. I like the Racing Italiano with Alfa Romeos in it. They're some of my favorite Italian cars as well and I wish we had more of them in the US. Let me know when you get around to it if you like playing Saints Row 2. I started it some years back and got about 2 hours in but then I got sidetracked and never got back into it.
Thanks so much for those XB1 games bud, very much appreciated man. I want to play the first "Saints Row" first, then the 2nd as apparently the two stories connect.
@@vinniecorleone62 They might loosely connect but I don't think the games have an ongoing plot. I own Saint's row 2, 3 and 4 and I played the third one first. Each sequel seems to be a big jump technologically from the previous game.

Thanks man, I really appreciate your kindness.
Control is exceptional.
I bet it is as I've enjoyed numerous reviews on it & definitely like what I see as well as dig the developer Remedy.
@@vinniecorleone62 You're welcome.
Thanks for watching mate, I really appreciate it & feel honored having you as a friend & viewer, I like a lot of under-rated gems as you can see man.
@@vinniecorleone62 you to bro it's all good! And yeah like me you enjoy a lot of hidden gems and are willing to give games a chance.
Having my after dinner coffee and watching another great video by my brotha Dean
Thank you brother, I always appreciate your kind & supportive comments man.
Thanks for watching & for plugging my Rubber Cement Thinner sticker removal video, I need to make a newer updated version of it soon.
Great vid Dean!!! Nice gifts
Thanks so much for watching & for your excellent feedback my friend, I appreciate it.
Thanks bud, I appreciate your comment & WiFi Router recommendation.
Great video buddy gotta catch up on these now 😊
Thanks for watching bud.
Nice work as always Dean. Do you have any PAL region xbox games in your collection?
Yes, "Conan" & "Miami Vice" which were gifts from the UK a few years back my friend.
Control was pretty good. Set in the Alan wake and quantum break universe
I need to play all 3 soon, thanks bud.
@@vinniecorleone62 yea man. Enjoy!
since it’s launch night for saints row reboot I am worried I hear bad reviews and it’s buggy are you still buying your pre order
@@vinniecorleone62your thoughts on the new saints row since you got it ?
@@captiankirkgames4385 I probably spent close to an hour on the character creation then played the first mission which was pretty good, the shooting took me a few minutes to get used to but so far I like it. The new main characters are cringy, I only got too play it Saturday night as I was very busy & exhausted all weekend from a brutal long work week & too many errands & projects all weekend but I hope to continue it some more soon.
Dude I tell Matty the same things about the stickers. I even told Mystic Ryan the PlayStation guy. They all use Goo gone and I’m like, Noooooo
I know, I yell at the YT screen every damn time but they don't listen because in their mind they have the only solution, God forbid they actually have an open mind & try the only true way that works bud.
I have control I have yet to even play that game But I did beat wolfenstein 2 New colossus
Thanks for watching my friend, I can't wait to play both games now.
Youl be happy with mad Max on Xbox series x it's 120 fps
I heard that, my Gamestop has a few new Series-X consoles in stock but I'm trying to pay off some outstanding medical & dental bills first though.
I bought the remastered new "Alan Wake" game as well as having the original Xbox 360 port which I played at launch but not all the way through unfortunately & need to experience it soon. Thanks for watching & for your recommendation my friend.
Made it to the end
Thanks brother, I value you as a good friend & fellow gamer.
When’s the next video
Hopefully my game room tour if I can finish up the last couple projects out there my friend.
Did you get your saints row copy
Yes, got the loaded "Notorious Edition" & just installed it & the 4 DLC packs.
Just wanted to say good job on the weight loss, I was watching a video of yours from 5 months ago and then jumped to this one and was like holy crap he has lost weight. I'm starting my diet today, hope I can do as good as you have done. Take care and I'll see you on your next video.
Super kind of you to notice & to be so supportive my friend, I have lost close to 60 pounds on the Keto Diet of very low Carbs & Sugar along with fasting throughout my days at work only drinking water. My Doctor scared me with facts & wanted me to obtain a stomach surgery where they remove 60% of my stomach which I didn't want to do naturally so I chose to see a good Nutritionist instead & II did what she asked of me bud.
Dead island 2 finally is Resurrected
I saw that a few days ago in a article, I love "Dead Island" & was excited for the Yager Studios version which got canned.
