This was a premiere with a difference for me, watching it at my dad's bedside in the palliative care hospice. I'm very pleased to say it got a few chuckles out of him, especially the very fast bit and the BoJo impression, and even a little bit of foot-tapping under the blankets. Thank you so much lads for helping his day to be a little bit better, during what is a very grim time. I really hope he will be coming home soon and we can watch more FAH sketches together 💙
I actually referenced this song during a discussion with friends a few weeks ago about the question "How many colonies did Britain have again?". Next day one of my friends who had never heard of you before got tickets for your Munich gig 😀
I know this is supposed to be comedy, but the dose of reality in this song really hits hard. This is just brilliant work. The updated lyrics gets better and better every time. Extra appreciation for Foil's list of country names, Arms' faux tin whistle solo and Hog's impression of Boris Johnson. And the energy this song has!!! Just charges you up!!!!
Why there isn't an official FA&H album is beyond me. They wouldn't even have to be comedy songs, I'd legitimately listen to these lads for their musical chops.
There are very few comedy acts that could do a Brexit song that was both funny and non-offensive, but these lads managed it. I saw them in Newcastle a few years ago, and feared that they would be the modern sort of comedy which requires the audience to agree with every opinion expressed from the stage, and that the audience would be roaring not with mirth but with ostentatious approval. Instead, I was relieved to discover that their intention was instead to entertain the audience, which was refreshing.
As I watched swines for the 1st time, Boris was on screen saying he won’t resign then he did the following day. Hogs impression was spot on and made everything 10x funnier that was going on on the tv about the news!😂

I also liked the part in the intro to this song when an audience member randomly shouts something to the lads [no spoilers!] and they react smoothly and quickly to turn it into another joke. @@anonymous_selkie I totally get that. The „problem“ (to me) with this video is that it‘s not really something new. We‘ve all seen the original version as a Thursday sketch and the only different thing now is that they did perform it in front of an audience.
