i've watched the old version of this anime . it was kinda completed and consisted of 2 episodes . ah it's soo good and the older ver iason had so much love in his eyes for riki ...he also mentioned several times that he loved riki . i miss him soo much
@@ihmsfm1040 finished reading the books just last year. I have to say every Ank fan really should read the books. So many in depth informations and revelations. But it's written very poorly. Also heard it's getting re-translated. But that only made me yearn for this anime's continuation even more. Because it's closer to the books. 🤧
And they had to cut it short due to funding reasons It was made really well , what a loss 😭 both versions are good 90s version stands out but this version closely follows the novel The novel came out in the 80s but still modern in its theme & characterizations
