    How interesting! I think the combo of starches creates the novel texture and I appreciate that the recipe is adzuki bean-free, LOL! I look forward to your examination of Chinese cuisine by region, as this does make sense. Thanks for posting 🙂

    Love you tried this, I am always looking for traditional glutenfree dishes. Sadly the texture will upset me where I to try eating those, but it was still worth an exploration, not everyone is as picky as I am

      Totally get what you mean...I'm wondering, sometimes the portion - like just the amount of dough may be the issue. I'm wondering if you turned them into small, maybe like savory jackfruit filled balls and put them in soup/noodles, it might not be as intense of a texture.
