Reflections on water in the tree nursery

There are a lot of different ways to approach water in a nursery setting. In this video I explore how I feel about water right now in 2024. I’m really lucky to have a solid well and abundant groundwater in this region. We also do get a decent amount of rain. A lot of rain compared to some other parts of the world. In the future I would really like to explore ways to irrigate with stored rain water and solar power. A more automated system would also be really cool.

thank you for your video and good to know about the paw paws, I was beginning to think I didn't properly handle them through winter and let them get too dry or something. I will try to be patient and not dig them up (again)! ha ha
