Thank you for these videos! My daughter has a Poshmark account and wants to sell a lot of her clothes. This gave me confidence in allowing her to move forward. Now I might grab my bags of clothes!

Over from Hairy tornadoes channel . They say when you sell something , the same part of your brain as gambling goes off. Only resellers know what I’m talking about . Good content!!
Love your content, Taylor! Came here bc of the Iced Coffee Hour. Staying for the helpful content and your fun personality. As someone that Poshmark's from my personal closet regularly but not quite enough for it to be a side hustle, I've found your tips to be valuable. However, for people who aren't already resellers it may be helpful to do a Reselling 101, Postmark 101, etc. May not be as helpful for your existing audience but I'm sure a lot of the newer people who arrive at your channel (like people from GS's channel who may be interested in personal finance and are looking for a new side hustle) want to understand the basics before diving into the details. I think this will expand your audience naturally with related content and pull new viewers down the content funnel. Right now, you're talking to existing resellers, which is a small subset of the population. Also, would love to see how you inventory physically and your inventory set up. I have a closet full of items I want to Postmark but am trying to figure out how to organize it all. Will you be linking any of the equipment you use with affiliate links? Would be helpful for us if you had an Amazon shopping list. Love your stuff and excited to see where you take the channel!
Hi Jennifer! SUCH a nice and helpful comment, thanks so much for taking the time to write this out. I've also been thinking the same (that a posh/ebay 101 video could be helpful for my new viewers). And great ideas, I definitely will discuss my inventory system and create an Amazon store for my favorite finds very soon-- have been meaning to do that as-is 😊 thanks so much again for watching Jennifer, and for your thoughtful comment! 💜

Literally half my subscription box is finance videos lol. I found you through Graham and I love that he had you on the show. Its really intriguing to me when I see a woman that is killing the game. Most of the time when you hear about financial success its men and because of that there's not too much variety on how they do it. An example, I'm 20, I'm a man, and I am gaining my success with the stock market. But when its a woman sharing her success, its often enough something completely different that brought them success, such as reselling clothes. Idk if its entirely that, but I can also tell you are smart, you know what you are doing, I like that, keep it up, too many people in this world follow a traditional path. Idk, you seem like the kind of person I would enjoy talking to, I love talking about stocks and money, sadly my friends arent as interested.

Hey Taylor I love your videos, they provide such great information! I’ve been running a reselling business with my brother the last 2.5 years and we specialize in retail arbitrage of shoes and some clothing along with a bit of wholesale. We will do just over 100K in profit this year which is extremely exciting for us. I am also very familiar with the thrift and flip model and the information you are providing is fantastic. It is great for beginners as well as those who have been in the game a long time. You represent the community well and I’d love to talk about business and dive deeper into your business sometime!
Like button was smashed thank you Taylor for giving us a business point of view on eBay reselling. I have only been reselling since the summertime off and on and have started to test out various ways to be more productive. I felt I was only making $10 an hour as well. I try to list about 5 items a day it can be difficult as I am a full-time college student work full-time with a one and a three-year-old at the house. So what I have started doing recently is leaving the house 45 minutes earlier before leaving to work going to the thrift store which is a mile from my house spend 30 to 45 minutes they’re going to work when I get home I’ll take the bag in the spare bedroom where I take pictures I wake up 30 minutes early to cut the tags off throw the clothes in the dryer for 15 15 minutes. I have the description and the measurements on a piece of paper that he keep with me and I use the receipt to average out my cost of goods that way the taxes Inc. in the COG. during my downtime at work I edit the pictures and list throughout my 12 hour shift. There are pros and cons to doing this of course. The biggest thing for me is not taking away family time on my days off the days I work the kids are at day care anyways so I’m not being taken away from family time. Some days I can list all some days I can’t. Another way I am trying to increase sales by offering free shipping and just adding the cost of shipping to the item. Another thing that I might try and do is turn and burn as much items as possible. What I mean by that is I make $15 per item profit so as long as the item sells for $15 I’m good I don’t want to send offers to people nor do I want to negotiate back-and-forth if I can sell two or three items a day for a month I’m good with that as this is just a side hustle for me to pay for my vacation. I am testing out a bunch of things and trying to see what works best. Also I might look into selling on Poshmark as well would you be able to make a video about how you do it selling on all three platforms if one item gets sold on one platform do you just remove it from the other two right away. Again thank you for giving us your insides of reselling.
Watching the end of the pros and cons makes me think people should at least know the basics of the Taylor model. But don't make it too strict so that you still have fun.
Well thank you so much for watching until the end!! I agree it's helpful info to know 😊 And DEFINITELY don't make it too strict where it's not fun anymore- then that won't be a sustainable process. Thanks for watching Martin!! 🎉
@@TaylorBell awesomeness, by the way, saw you on Hairy Tornadoes channel yesterday, an awesome interview. have to say your videos are awesome, very engaging, definitely, something I'm trying to do with my channel in the future. Hopefully, I'll be able to captivate an audience like you do one day. keep it up!!
Awesome process. I manufacture a tool and I had success doing a similar thing. Batch preparation, batch assembling using a jig I made to hold the pieces and batch painting. I cut 30 minutes off each tool and got it down to 45 mins/tool. Works great!
Damn i see the sky's the limits for ya! I'm looking forward to see where your gonna be money wise close to getting your new job! I get it you see the stability getting that job, but I'm thinking your gonna be making so much money which one will be better! Looking forward to your next entertaining video! 😎
I would do it for 10 hours per week. 3 days split into 3h, 3h and 4h if possible. Then you could make around 40x110 per month. That makes around 4400 per Month. Then you have plenty of time to chill and do other stuff (youtube etc.). I kind of do this with my business aswell.
Yess that sounds like a great work flow! Always trying to make for lots of chill time haha plus RUclips takes up a LOT of time as well (like you mentioned). Glad you’re able to find a good balance as well!! ☺️
Biggest ROI for me lately is selling my old school Pokémon cards on eBay. Just got $2150 for my Charizard 😎 Cool video. Hadn’t thought of selling used clothes.
As someone who hates clothes shopping with a passion but my girlfriend does this occasionally, I'm suddenly very interested. This break down was amazing. I love number crunching finance/business.
I just found your Channel, and i watched the last videos you uploaded, and you seemed a cool successful person, I remeber seeing a video and the tittle of it was: "you can also be a consultant" or something like that, but didn't watch it, so I came back today to look for it, and just saw this other video, just to find out that you have been way smarter and fluid (meaning confindent, easy going, realistic, etc... In spanish it makes sense 🤣) than I thought, even when you were too Young (20 or 21 years old) I really like how you are, Whish you the best Greetings from Guatemala!! 🧐😁✌️ Sorry for my bad english, wish it was at least understandable hahah
This video is great! I really want to do the math to find out how much I make per hour. I think my system is pretty good right up until it’s time to list. That’s where I waste time. 😩 The last few days I’ve been trying to not overthink looking up comps and my description and I think that has really helped. One day I’ll list as fast as you!
Thank you so much Chelsea!! And gosh I hear ya, I dread listing. You still get so many done on most days though, that's great! 😊 And great point about not overthinking comps and description, I'm trying to do the same lately. I mean my VA does the description, but I'm trying to spend less time "correcting" it 😂 Hahah yeah well one day I'll list as MUCH as you!! 💜 thanks so much for watching Chelsea!!
Awesome job systemizing your side hustle! Easiest way to increase our profits is to minimize the inefficiencies. Do you have plans on scaling your side hustle into a business? Possibly you could look for opportunities to outsource your sourcing or hire someone to list the items? It looks like sourcing and listing take 1/2 of your time in the business, so working on those areas might allow you to scale (if you wanted to do that). Either way, you're killing it!
Hey Taylor! Gosh I wish I could share with ya my best thrift flip that I just had this week. Still hoping I meet you out there in the LA thrift shops one of these days💜💕
I did this the other day for this product I'm working on. I ordered 200k beads and need to assemble them into 5k products. Assembly time started at 30 minutes per product, got it down to 14 minutes per hour. One thing about systemizing the process is finding areas to innovate on each step. Knowing a baseline time allows you to measure those improvements.
I love how you can tell, that you went to business school the way you talk about efficiency and your numbers
You really know what you’re doing

I love this! It’s fun to see how profitable reselling can be if you focus on the work :)
Thaaank you Macy!! It really is fun! Especially when it’s so much higher than it feels like it sometimes, during the procrastinating hours 😂
@@TaylorBell I need to swap my ratio around. Pretty sure right now it’s 80% procrastination 20% work 😂😂😂
Watching the end of the pros and cons makes me think people should at least know the basics of the Taylor model.
Great video! Thank you for all this useful info. 🙏
Thanks so much for watching!! You're so welcome 😊
@@TaylorBell oh my gosh. This made my day! 😊
$100 is a great hourly rate! Awesome job!
Yess I'm happy with it!! Thank you so much!! 😊
@@TaylorBell Of course!
ahah you are truly inspiration
Great video! Very useful for my own reselling workflow.✨
So glad to hear that!! Thank you 😊
Love the mini-history lesson.
Thanks Grant!! Tried to make it short and sweet with some cool music ☺️
Really like this video! Makes me want to start reselling! Great video
Just smashing the like button and commenting for the you tube algorithm
Thanks ThaWord!! I can always count on you ☺️
@@TaylorBell Gram taught me well!
0:52 Guess you could say the process is
Taylor made
I'll be in the car if anyone needs me.
LMAO sorry for the late response. I'll be in the car if anyone needs me 😂
The Ford part of the video reminded me of Bioshock and Fallout games narration
LMAO can't say I've heard it 😂 I'll have to check it out
Prediction: 15,000 Subs by X-Mas! I can just see it. Good Stuff Taylor...Graham and Jack would be proud....lol
Omg that would be insaaaane hahah I hope so!! 😂 thank you so much :) I’ll be on their channel again this Sunday actually! Keep an eye out!
Your vids are fun, and I'm learning more about RUclips and other topics. I know many have said this, you are fabulous! And beautiful.
I love number crunching finance/business.
you deserva far more subs but they will come eventually, keep grinding°
Oh gosh thank you. Grind I will! :)
Goodwill needs to get a goodwill army to do this for their inventory, so they can resell online at this kind of profit but 100%. WOW concept
In spanish it makes sense 🤣) than I thought, even when you were too Young (20 or 21 years old)
I really like how you are,
Whish you the best
Greetings from Guatemala!! 🧐😁✌️
Sorry for my bad english, wish it was at least understandable hahah
You are bringing great honor to the Taylor name!
Thank you Sean!! I try
You're a goddess
Aw you're so sweet!! Thank you so much!! 💜 Ily2!!
Hey Taylor! Gosh I wish I could share with ya my best thrift flip that I just had this week. Still hoping I meet you out there in the LA thrift shops one of these days💜💕
Hey Cecilia!!! 💜 oooh tell me about your thrift flip?!! Hoping to see you too, say hi if you see me!! 😊
Lot of thought into this video!
Yess!! Thanks for watching Marcelo ☺️
@@TaylorBell your channel is blowing up! Are you going to keep selling when you go to NY?
