- CST is a gentle technique used to release soft tissue tightness + tension in the fascia surrounding the brain + spinal cord. Before babe is born each of the cranial bones are separate so they may overlap to pass through the birth canal - CST helps guide these bones in the proper direction after birth. This technique is used to break up restrictive adhesions - allowing proper formation of the brain + nervous system.
Suture rubbing is another gentle technique that focuses on breaking up the adhesions in the sutures to allow proper movement between them.
