just got back into saab ownership after a while with another car, modified 9000, literally has everything i could wish for, i think it would do well on the nord.
Yes extended boltd and a second rear arb, tires are federal 595rsr 215/45/17. Tires were 90% shot already. After 2 laps the front tires cupped very badly
@@Grandpasaab well the 9-3 ogs are hard to make them stable... i will also put lowering setup for a lil more stability due to my springs are shot and same for my shocks
Well with mods comes maintenance like tires, oil, headgasket, slipping clutch etc. Total what I have noted is 12.000 including purchase of the car and doing most of the work my self with friends
@@Grandpasaab Oh, very cool. I am looking for understanding the options for owning a Saab in Germany in a few months or a year. My heart is going towards owning a 900 turbo and making it performe similar to what your car is capable of slowly. But, also want to keep it economical as a daily and good for the Autobahn. Have any tips for things to keep in mind? 😁 I plan to get to get my German licence soon, so kinda new to things
Thanks for the non english comment, first of all i never said it is a fast car. It is not a track car its a daily car. I do sometimes drive on track but that is purely for fun not for lap timing or being fast.
1 year ago i had EBC Bluestuffs on the front and yellow on the back. The blues lasted 10k after that i went for stock ATE blocks, which seen here. Misha would not drive it with these brakes. Also misha would drive a bit more agressive than me and get the oil to hot just before foxhole. I even managed to get the oil to 145c no joke
That sounded lovely with the external mic 👌
I use this to sleep every night haha
Im just building a 9000 track car. B204, 350bhp, but stripped to just 1080kg. Cannot wait to get it on the ring. Paul @ The SAAB Clinic. T5 Tuner.
10/10 car and driver. I thought it would be take off there for a while.
Thanks! This was my 2nd time on the nordschleife, first time was more a tour. This time i was pushing a bit more :)

Great lap! Miss my '07 9-3 ARC 2.0T. Was a really fun car.
saw your car at the ring last weekend, looked great! groetjes uit de rode volvo 240!
Saw you to, what a vibe older cars ;)
nice to see one out there! If it had better chassis it might have kept up with that Yaris. Got one too but not as quick as this one
the BMW you get locked behind 1/3 to 1/2 in .. has some interesting ways to take corners ngl.
Agreed
He has a spoiler though so you know he’s serious about racing!
the sound ;) .. bad pramps
Lekker gejaagd maat!!
Thanks!!
“Double rear arb”? By the way, what tires are you using? Cool build!

Sterk!
I don't know what set-up it has but the ride seems too restrained to me, it could push much more, too conservative
Where about on the car did you mount the mic? This is near perfect audio quality😃
On the rear at the tow hitch
I guess you have Quaife LSD in it by the behavior of the car when cornering?
No stock diesel gearbox :)

How much did the mods cost in total?

Like for having video like this
But it was boring a little
That suspension is not designed for any type of HP!!! 9-5 maybe, but not the 9-3!!!
Haha not? Why not
@@Grandpasaab I have 2 of these stock, they struggle to stay on the road in the corners, that's why. Both under 60k miles.
