I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this talk with Leena Nair. She's not only a trail blazer but her compassionate empathic leadership approach really reasonated with me while listening. Please do more segments with her.
It's amazing to see how many people put hate in the comments when they see an extraordinary woman on stage, inspiring millions of girls around the world. What did you expect? That she talked about numbers? That she revealed a secret business plan to the competition? Are you guys even real? She worked for 30 years at Unilever achieving great results and climbing the company ladder without knowing how to do the job? Come on Chanel is an inspiring house, and if you look back in history, it has always been about empowering and inspiring women to be who they are. I'm excited to see what are the Leena's plans for the future of the brand 👏🏻👏🏻 Ps*: The people who talk shit about it probably never had to fight the system to change it for the better.
I was ignorant until today while reading these comments, how many men actually hate ambitious Women… When I research wealth and business information, as a Man I’m always underwhelmed by the amount of Women I can listen to in order to get a true powerful Feminine perspective. Leena spoke about how little of a percentage of Women are in leadership roles, and the lightbulb lit up a bit; and then I went to these comments and see the threatened boys in here. It’s weird. I’m kind of shocked tbh.
What were they thinking when they decided to hire her? This woman is not inspiring. She belongs in the world of HR. No imagination. And those socks….really???
2 thoughts. It feels like the two brothers care more about their horses than Chanel. If Bernard Arnault watches this video, he must be laughing his ass off.
@@sov2009 Let me re-phrase: does the fact she's not of European descent lead you to believe she's not competent? The owners of this private company Chanel are quite smart business people. Their decision appears to have been correct.
@@healthyself7941 first of all..🤔 where did I even comment anything about her?? But now that where are in this arena... "maybe" the reason why some people don't like her is because she doesn't come from the fashion industry or because in a couple of interviews she was not even aware of what she was wearing from the firm that she represents now or "maybe" cos she wants to fire some people who work for decades for Chanel cos she wants to replace them with IA and not because of her "tan skin".
Whoooooo bloody cares if you are the first brown lady in charge of CHANEL?! If the quality has gone to decline and the value of my Chanel bags goes down instead of up, I’m blaming you Leena Nair!!!
Quite honestly I’m shocked about her “why” to join Chanel. What she mentions can be applied to multitude of other brands. “Who doesn’t like Chanel?” or “everyone likes Chanel”… Really? Or “sustainability”… Really? Is this what Chanel is about? I get that it was a CEO role, she was the first female and not of the French origin to lead it. I aplaude her for that. She is double-triple first again. Great fit to her personal brand but I didn’t hear a single thing that would convey a genuine connection on a personal level with the brand and also, imho, an internalized understanding of what Chanel brand is all about. And where she wants to take it. To sustainable luxury? Just my take on it with all respect to her management and career achievements.
She’s TOAST after letting go of Virginie Viard just WEEKS before Chanel’s Haute Couture show. Wrong move by the Wertheimer’s and possibly Bruno Pavlovsky for bringing Leena Nair on as CEO. Chanel is now a Dumpster Fire!!!!! 🗑️

Fantastic and resourceful,
A Chanel IPO is coming. There's no doubt in my mind.

What socks?! She’s wearing ankle boots.
Give the head fashion creative NON CHEAP MATERIALS to work with

She is incredibly insincere and fake Chanel made a mistake bringing this woman onboard. I will not support Chanel under this woman.
Does her tan skin bother you? The owners of Chanel are sharp business people, and they decided 3 years ago, she's right for the role of CEO.
Her tan skin???? Where was that even mentioned?

Now i understand the downfall of chanel 😂

5alee walee
i give her 12 more months, tops
Why don't you give yourself 6 months to develop your brain?
Lmao you keep commenting from your house while she galvanizes chanel :)
Is her tan skin getting under your skin? She's been CEO over 3 years. The owners evidently think she's doing a good job.
She has ruined Chanel
