I won't hold that Alabama shirt against you. GO DAWGS! But in all seriousness, thank you so much for your reaction to this song. As a fellow father, we both know all too well how much bullying affects our children and everyone for that matter. JennaLee doing the signing is not my daughter, but I do love her like one. You are correct my daughter Macey comes in towards the end singing. It is amazing to see your raw reaction as a father, your children are very blessed to have you! God Bless You!
Mark, thank you so much for taking the time to watch my reaction video. This song really touched me years ago and I'm glad that the collaboration with Home Free and 21 Pineapples will give the song the opportunity to touch another generation. I am so honored for your view and comment. God Bless 🙏🏻 oh and Roll Tide 😂
Funny thing, I was going through some physical therapy and a guy was getting therapy for a knee replacement. His therapist Lyndsay was bending his knee and he started screaming. Everyone stopped to look, and Lyndsay was smiling. Everything is a song to me, so I yelled Lyndsay, then sang Don't get your pleasure from my pain, and everyone clapped!
@Almost Average Alan & Steve are the brilliance behind the song. I’m just the voice. But I have been honored to tell this story for more than 2 decades and I will do my best to continue to spread its message. 👍🏼🙏🏼
This is an awesome song. Home Free and Mark Wills killed this song. Please don't ever feel bad about showing your emotions. It shows you have a very big heart and care. Love your reaction!
Man, you're not a mess.....You are simply showing that you have a Huge Heart!!! And that you are one of those who tries to show Compassion for others!!!
People need to remember the saying that "there but for the grace of God go I". Your feelings are what make you human and empathy is what keeps you special. You keep being you!
Stop apologizing for tears. Proudly show that you have a caring heart. Stare them in the eyes and dare anyone to say one word disparaging your gentle kind nature.
I may not have cried at this, but it truly touched my heart, this is one of the best songs I've heard in a while, and I genuinely respect you for tearing up because it showed that it touched your heart too :)
Yes she's signing an artistic interpretation in ASL. She does it beautifully! My daughters are deafblind, Usher's Syndrome, so I've signed for 44 years. I used to sign songs to them and we danced. My younger son beat up bullies when they picked on the special needs kids.
My youngest daughter is now in her 20s...but back in elementary school; she'd yell and confront bullies that were making a little girl in her wheelchair cry, and became her recess buddy who would stay in with her to play. I'm so glad my kids weren't ever the bully..its so heartbreaking; still after all these years.Awesome job guys🥰🤠
Wow I’m 24 I lost my mama three years ago she was 45 at the time she would of been 50 next July and my sister whose 26 also has full autism and Down syndrome I have borderline autism and no Down syndrome she’s a ward of the state of Texas since our mom passed and songs like this hit hard for me every time 😢
I just lost my second of three children on September 211, 2022. He was found dead by a total stranger and while I'm thankful it wasn't a family member, it sent so many different waves of emotions thru me. There's nothing worse than losing a child. This was an awesome video that makes you think and tugs at your heart strings. GREAT reaction.
I know it is so sad, isn’t it😢I don’t understand either! This makes me cry too!😢 Nothin wrong with being emotional!! Wonderful reaction!!❤️❤️ Love you!👏👏👏👏👋👋
As a smallish kid I was the one standing on the side, as a less small kid I was the one who befriended those who were bullied, I then became a single teenage mom at age 19, and my son ended up being bullied in school. I also have a nephew with Downs Syndrome, and my partner was the geek with glasses as a kid. Yeah, this song gets to me and the way it's performed, the inclusiveness. I do prefer focusing on bringing more love than fighting what we don't like, because whatever we focus on grows. That's why Mother Teresa never attended a stop/fight campaign, but gladly prompted pro peace/love campaigns. That's why she was great. I'm glad that Home Free while in their words talk about fighting bullying use love and inclusiveness as the counteraction. Awesome reaction, Dennis. Emotions are supposed to move through us. 🥰🙏❤️
One of the reasons I love your reactions so much is because your heart shines through every video you react to. I was crying right along with you. Please never change. Great reaction, as always, sir!
So glad you realized the young lady was "sign singing". Not sure how many people will realize that's what she is doing. Amazing job ! Love HomeFree and Mark Wills... great video and collaboration !!
Why would you even need to apologize for getting emotional? I love your genuine, heart on your sleeve, reactions! I cry with you and laugh also!! Thank you!
Crying so hard with you my friend! I can barely watch this video, now 3rd time. It breaks my heart every time. But then the wonderful message, "killing them with kindness" at the end. wow. You are in my prayers and I so appreciate you sharing your heart and pain with us. REAL men are not afraid to show their emotions! We are all in this together. We MUST not allow bullying, we MUST step out and speak out! Thank you again and take care.
I freaking loved this reaction!!❤️❤️ HUGE fan of mark wills btw towards the ending where he hugged the girl in the blue dress is his daughter macey (taller girl)
Don't worry about being emotional, we all are. These young people are amazing and doing their part in the song. I drove a school bus for 30 years and a lot of that time I had special needs students on my bus. They were amazing and some were quite funny. I had one who didn't speak well and was wheelchair bound. He called me "Ena" and had learned some not so good words from his grandpaw. LOL! He was so funny. I miss those kids. Thank you for being you.
This song hits home for me because when I was growing up I was also bullied and from being bullied I know how that feels I cried myself to sleep always wondering what was wrong with me! Nothing was wrong with me at all I was perfect just the way I am and because of being bullied it made me the person I am today I cannot stand someone being bullied, especially children! Come-on people it's not hard to be kind it's free nobody knows what people go through in life be kind folks because one day it may be you
This song has always gotten to me. I was bullied from kindergarten though 12th grade so it hits home. It was nothing like kids have to deal with today. I knew this was going to get to me. I LOVE the story in the video. Thank you for reacting to this.
This song never fails to make me cry, I'll admit it....I'm sure we've all been on the wrong end of a bullies aggression at some point including me, the best thing to do is try and understand why their doing it not give them a reason to continue their actions
You were the first reaction I saw to this song! I, too, remember the original, from back in the day! But, dadgum! This was SO special! I worked for several years with Downs Syndrome Association of Georgia. The best people ever! These precious souls, show that God doesn't make mistakes! Period! Share the smiles, the joy, and LOVE... One Funky Shirt at a time!!! 🍍X 21
Omg I've got tissues ready. One of my favorite songs. I also have a 10 year old daughter who is a 27 week preemie, but also autistic. She has dealt with bullying the last few years at school and kids in the neighborhood. Has also had adults just stare at her. I remind her everyday what an amazing person she is. She was surprised that I also dealt with bullying at her age. This song is so needed right now. Can't wait to play this for her when she gets home from school.
I am a victim of bullying. As kid constantly. Throughout my 65 years I've been bullied so many reasons. This song does me in too. Thank you friend for an awesome reaction. God Bless
A friend just sent me this quote by Yogi Bhajan: "Travel light, live light, spread light, be the light." It fits in with what this video so well. I have a grandson like these two young people. I call them Angels of Light because they are the best example of doing just what we should all be like! They are closer to God than most people on earth. We should all want to be like them. Thank you for sharing this!!
As a neurodivergent parent of a neurodivergent child, I've not seen the problem of bullying improve a bit in an entire generation but I wholeheartedly appreciate Mark Wills and Home Free for spotlighting the cause. This topic--and song--always make me cry...my heart hurts for our kids 💔
I'm so happy to see someone else that cries when you see this. This song has always got me in the feels. Yes she was signing in the video. I always taught my children to be nice to everyone. Truly enjoyed your reaction to this song.
I've seen this several times and it makes me cry every time. What a great message from these talented men. And I love that they got upstaged by the actor at the end - and they left it in.
You have no idea how wonderful it is to see someone else on this earth that feels the emotions from songs, acts of kindness, respect, etc. Never apologize & always feel you're part of Gods great plan to change the negativity of this earth. Thank you so very much.
I'm an Empath also. I feel other's emotions and I feel other peoples pain...liks I said an EMPATH. It can be both a gift and a curse. Depends on the situation, lol. But I truly know how you feel, because I actually DO know how you feel....We as Empaths, we know all the feels.... Ty for another great reaction....
🍟 As a Grandma to an Autistic Granddaughter and a Down Syndrome Granddaughter this struck a very deep chord for me. Dennis, I had the same reaction. I cried my eyes out too. Beautiful song that kills the heart. The young mans name is Nate Simon and my daughter said he's very famous on Tik Tok and he's very funny especially when he talks about his family. May God bless you and your family!!!
Such a beautiful reaction, thank you so much for being you, for sharing you emotions, thoughts and opinions! This world needs more people that really FEEL.

Well, as a Bama fan and a Mark Wills fan - I say Roll Tide
Funny thing, I was going through some physical therapy and a guy was getting therapy for a knee replacement. His therapist Lyndsay was bending his knee and he started screaming. Everyone stopped to look, and Lyndsay was smiling. Everything is a song to me, so I yelled Lyndsay, then sang Don't get your pleasure from my pain, and everyone clapped!

I understand where you're coming from Brother!!! May GOD Bless you Friend!!! Thanks for your reactions!!!
My take is that he gave them lunches because he thinks that maybe they are hungry and in a bad situation so he wants to help them too.
This is an awesome song. Home Free and Mark Wills killed this song. Please don't ever feel bad about showing your emotions. It shows you have a very big heart and care. Love your reaction!

You’re a very good man❤and Dad.
How we treat the downtrodden and hurting determines who we are more than anything else.
Home Free are such amazing young men!! We all need to support these guys in every way. They are what's good in this world
People need to remember the saying that "there but for the grace of God go I". Your feelings are what make you human and empathy is what keeps you special. You keep being you!
Stop apologizing for tears.
Proudly show that you have a caring heart. Stare them in the eyes and dare anyone to say one word disparaging your gentle kind nature.
Do it be sorry for being emotional - it honors your heart, and honors Home Free’s artistry
“Don’t be sorry”
And this is why we love Homefree
I may not have cried at this, but it truly touched my heart, this is one of the best songs I've heard in a while, and I genuinely respect you for tearing up because it showed that it touched your heart too :)

Amen brother. That 2nd verse made me feel the same exact way. As a parent, even considering the emotion of that kind of loss is so painful.

Wow! Just wow. They killed it! Again... Mark never sounded better. And then his daughter?!? Amazing.
I love Nate so much and they all acted so great I had to keep reminding myself it is an act. Mama bear wanted to come out.
I was the child in school who was bullied for years. Very emotional song for me but beautifully done. Thank you for your sweet, loving ❤ reaction.

These guys always attach themselves to worthy causes.
Home Free is generous with all their featured guests
This was absolutely beautiful. It always gets me in the feels from the first time I heard it. Love the video and tour reaction

Heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. I really have no words. 🤟
Bro, the message definitely got deeper with this cover. It can bring a grown ass man to tears.

Mark Wills is still touring and performing. He is also a new grandfather. His grandson is absolutely adorable
She seemed to be doing a mix of interpretive dance and some sign language. There was definitely some sign Language in there.
Don't apologize for getting emotional! This is one of my favorite songs and I sobbed all the way through this video! You're all good bro!
I am a victim of bullying. As kid constantly. Throughout my 65 years I've been bullied so many reasons. This song does me in too. Thank you friend for an awesome reaction. God Bless
We love you and it takes a real man to cry and show us his heart ♥ never give up and never back down. You are loved by all of us.

Yes she's signing in Auslan as we call it in Down Under
As a neurodivergent parent of a neurodivergent child, I've not seen the problem of bullying improve a bit in an entire generation but I wholeheartedly appreciate Mark Wills and Home Free for spotlighting the cause.
This topic--and song--always make me cry...my heart hurts for our kids 💔
Love the reaction. Thank for being you. ❤
I love this song I was always taught to treat everyone with respect
I'm so happy to see someone else that cries when you see this. This song has always got me in the feels. Yes she was signing in the video. I always taught my children to be nice to everyone. Truly enjoyed your reaction to this song.
Beautiful message
I've seen this several times and it makes me cry every time. What a great message from these talented men. And I love that they got upstaged by the actor at the end - and they left it in.
You have no idea how wonderful it is to see someone else on this earth that feels the emotions from songs, acts of kindness, respect, etc. Never apologize & always feel you're part of Gods great plan to change the negativity of this earth. Thank you so very much.
I've waiting all day to see if you'd do this today, I had to lay down and sleep for work tonight and was so happy when I woke up to this. Thank you.
This song breaks me! Beautiful message!!
Nate Simon is the head of 21 Pineapples. The songs seems to be about empathy for others under all circumstances.
These guys have become role models ....
Sending you lots of hugs Sir, keep it up. Love your reactions.
I loved your heartfelt reaction to this great video. Thank you for sharing it.
🍟 As a Grandma to an Autistic Granddaughter and a Down Syndrome Granddaughter this struck a very deep chord for me.
My Autistic sweetie was recently 'expelled' from her Homeschooling program because she had missed too many days.
Her Mom was going through breast cancer surgery & chemo, so yes she missed some days - but still managed to get all A's. Life sucks sometimes.
This song and video speaks volumes for those who can't!
Thank all of you - it's a real gift. 🍟💖
It certainly pulls on the heart strings😢
Dang it, this is the second time I have watched this today and it's the second time today I have cried. The song its self is enough to get me but with the video I have no chance to not cry. I love the message, everyone should see and hear this song.

A beautiful collaboration. Mark Wills is a great singer. And then my favorite Home Free in the background sounds fabulous. A beautiful song with a sad subject.
I know what bullying is. Not by children, but by the teachers.
It's so good that it's getting attention. Because bullying has to end. Think about what you're doing to someone like that.
I never told anyone before. I let it go and thought I could handle it. But I developed a fear of failure and inferiority complex about it. Fortunately, I had and have very dear family and friends around me, who unconsciously dragged me through it. It was only when I was 57 years old that I went to therapy for it.
Dennis, I promise to tell you how much I appreciate this reaction, just as soon as I gather myself again.....I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you, might be a while.
Oh but I will say Go Dawgs! Gotta love the SEC
Love this, even if it made me cry. thank you ^_^
8:22 I didn’t hear this until you stopped it and said the “Thup du du dup” and it cuts out from the climax to d the video!! Love this!! Thank you for this!! ❤ this was a favorite song when he put it out and it’s still amazing!
Your reaction is actually at 8:11 and for some treason I started AFTER! ❤
Don't apologize for being an emotionally connect father!! This song and video hits home for sure, I was bullied from my first day of kindergarten till graduation, and my kids were bullied too, and I think it hurt more when my kids were going through it than my experience.
Nate, the young man who acted in the video, owns 21 Pineapples. He and his mom have a TikTok that is pretty darned funny. Love him. And I believe Jenna was signing the lyrics. My ASL is pitiful, but I recognized a few signs.
