I remember watching this series in the early 90's in the weekends. It always aired on sunday mornings and the channel network was called UPN at the time. This was in the Chicago region. Great job in creating this reforged cut. Btw, are you also a fan of the old Guyver anime? Technoman and Guyver were my all time favorites back then.
Its so great that you made this. I have searched for the edit from fox kids in the uk for 20 years with no success. This looks promising. I always hated the versions that i was able to buy that in the final episode were overrun with naff japanese pop music. I can only hope you dont have that in it. Great job so far dude!!!!
Even the haters of the English dub don't deny the music was 100% an improvement. This cut of the series I promise to include every memorable moment, enhance the action sequences, fix the continuity errors and streamline the story with all the killer and none of the cringe. It's the version I essentially always wanted and hope it meets your satisfaction. Thanks for watching.
Honestly, whilst the English version had a lot of issues, I felt the change of names wasn't one of them. I do prefer Radam over Venomoids but the change from Evil to Sabre and Omega to Darkon was one I favored. In this version I had to fix it so Shara is referred to as Rapier (and swap the miscast to Sword in the original).
Episode 5 onward have improved sound as I managed to get my hands on the best English Dub Audio possible, after I"d started the project. Once I've completed the 20 part series (and a break from exhaustion) I'll remake the earlier episodes with improved audio and likely look to improve the audio on all episodes. Appreciate you watching and supporting as we let Teknoman live another day!

This is a director's cut of sorts but my editing skills really find their stride in the later chapters. It's easy to forget the original also has some horrible cuts and edits but the audio improves in Ch5 and continue to improve after. If you stick with it, there's a lot that's repaired from the original show and elements added. For example, here Dagger has final battle instead of sitting still waiting to die. I'm going to remake the older episodes to match the quality of the later ones.
Indeed great work, amazing HD quality. In regards to the editing, even my kids 7 and 5 asked if the "movie made a mistake".. it was when the editing kinda went abit out of wack in the later half. I got kinda lost too. Look forward to the update, or even less cut down episodes..

This is a 20 episode version which integrates Japanese scenes and gets the first half of the series to act more narrative instead of episodic (ie like the second half). Consolidation of events is heaviest in the first 7 episodes. It's all been heavily storyboarded and if you watch from the start I promise you'll all the impact of the original series, just more story/character driven from the offset with a few corrections and additions from other versions. Either way, thanks for checking out the project, you're clearly a solid Teknoman fan. 🍻

If it is going to truly take off again the names Venomoids, Spider crabs and Darkon need to be altered

i just find it odd that of all the characters, Balzac is pretty much the only one that kept the same name in both the japanese and english versions

Agreed. Some transition are horrible. The image looks great thou. This is not a knockdown, but editing need a lot of work.
