"Ace Ventura wasn't the only comedic that came out in 1994. here are some honorable mentions." proceeds to list Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump, and Pulp Fiction as comedies. 🤣
The fact that Tonya had trouble with her laces on her ice skates honestly sounds like Karma for what she allegedly planned to do, and Nancy made a performance for the ages (I’ll say this she should’ve gotten the gold to cap off the incredible comeback story)
If you actually watched them back then, Tonya was the better skater during all of the practices and run-ups to the Olympics. But, she was poor, so she didn't look as pretty as the others. She got docked a lot because of that. Nancy was great, too, so don't twist my words. With all that said, none of what happened should have happened, and you're definitely right about karma. It was certainly deserved that she didn't place. All she had to do was skate. Not fight or injure another person. That's just pathetic.
18:34 Kurt Cobains death wasn’t technically the end of a movement. It was the beginning of the end sure for the grunge genre but the final nail in the coffin didn’t come until 1996 when Soundgarden broke up. Common misconception
10:41 the craziest thing about the whole Nancy Kerrigan and Tonya Harding ordeal is that it happened on my birthday of all days, and it honestly blows my mind
I'll never forget the OJ chase because it the exact day of my high school graduation - June 17, '94. We were almost late because my sister was watching it on tv and didn't want to leave the house.
For the record, there is no such thing as non gmo fruits and vegetables today. Here's why, people have been crossbreeding plants pretty much for as long as people have been farming. The resulting crossbreed is a GMO. The difference is with today's technology we can do it much more accurately where as in the old fashion way was basically a toss up as to whether or not it would produce anything viable.
9:14 There used to be a Rainforest Cafe at the mall I used to work at & they closed it down almost a decade ago & now a furniture store is in its place. I don’t miss the food but I miss the ambiance of that place.
My wife and I carpooled back then. We had gotten off the freeway and went to a restaurant. While waiting in the bar we watched on TV as a white Bronco slowly drove past the offramp we had just gotten off. Surreal to say the least.
Trying to explain the 90’s to someone who never experienced the 90’s is impossible. Life was such a different thing back then. Everyone was happy. Everyone was optimistic of the future. Genuinely say it was the generation to grow up in.

Hey. Do you guys still sell the Bronco? No. Sorry. Ford wanted to get away from the whole "fugitive on the run" thing. But here's our new SUV: the Escape!

For brazilians 1994 is the one of the most memorable year because of the pass away of the most brilliant F1 pilot Ayrton Senna and it was the year that brazilian soccer team won for the forth time the word cup in US.
We watched the OJ drama in school. Teacher requisition a tv and watched the whole trial. Did watch the chase at home. Also I still have my original PS1, PS2, PS3, AND PS4 they all still work as well as my Sega Genesis and the older Sega Mastersystem from 1986.
That scene of Ace Ventura is what my math teacher showed us for deductible reasoning. Also, I turned 12 in '94 and we moved to Kansas... on my birthday.

With Ang being 30 in this vid, I just thought it was so fitting, that I figured it was 30 year olds finding out what came out around the time they were born, but it seems by their stories that some of the cast was a little older, so now it's just crazy coincidence, and super cool at the same time. I remember my mom bringing Ace Ventura home on vhs the day it came out, and my brother and I sitting on the floor in front of our 300 pound console TV and laughing our asses off 😂still laughing to this day at such a funny character
Magic school bus omg I feel so old 👴 PS1 was crazy I only had a Nintendo ever since so many PS consoles have evolved into so many different shapes and sizes. OJ trial was crazy even though I was barely even born
My all-time favorite video game released in 1994: Final Fantasy VI on SNES. It dropped in Japan in April, and in the States around October or so. The first RPG I ever finished, and still my favorite game and soundtrack to this day.
I remember the Tonya Harding thing being all over the news like 24 seven when I was like eight. The thing is the husband was definitely involved. I don’t really think she was. She was the only American woman that was able to do a triple axle at the time.

Rainforest Cafe. I was part of a very large group that went to the one at Downtown Disney. The other tables had their orders taken, got their food, and the first table was finished before our orders were even taken. Our table wasn't charged after we finally got the manager over. Never went to another one again.
When we were kids my mom took us inside rainforest Cafe in Niagara falls Canada just to see , we ordered water , because we were too poor for the food and on a budget.
