Hey! I had to cut out the original tunnel and weld in a new, selfmade one. I also had to weld on new holding plates on the front and underside that could fit the original holes. The tank is a 2.4 Gal Sportster Tank by the way. No King Sportster, no XL. But after the work done, all of those would fit on the CM. Sorry if something is still unclear, english is not my native language.
Welche Stoßdämpfer hast du verbaut wie hast du das gemacht dass das Motorrad hinten zu tief kommt und wie würde das gemacht mit dem Heck kürzen und eintragen oder was habe dasselbe Motorrad habe genau das gleiche vor

Ich habe ein recht ähnliches Projekt vor, und habe zwei Fragen :-) Wie sitzt man nach so einem Umbau auf der Maschine (geht das auch mit 1,9m)? Hast du Probleme mit dem TÜV gehabt wegen dem gekürztem Rahmen oder musstest du das davor mit dem TÜVler besprechen?
Hallo! Bin selber 1,90m groß und die Sitzpostition war eigentlich ganz bequem. Sicherlich nicht super entspannt, aber da hab ich schon auf schlimmeren Bikes mit vorverlegten Fußrasten gehockt. TÜV habe ich vorher an verschiedenen Stellen angefragt und wie man das erwartet: Vier Experten, Fünf Meinungen. Wenn einer schreit "Oh Gott! Nein das geht auf keinen Fall!" sagt ein anderer "Klar, das passt schon!". Musst dir halt den "Lockersten" raussuchen, trotzdem musste natürlich alles belegt sein: Schweißverfahren nach DIN-Norm, was für Rohre mit welchen Wandstärken benutzt wurden usw..

did u have b to rejet for ur muffler I have one and don't know if I have to rejet for a different muffler style

Überlege mir auch eine zukaufen aber finde 400ccm und 37PS ein bisschen wenig.

Did you move the rear shocks top mount back a bit by drilling new mount points?
Not exactly. Cut out the old mounts completely, build new ones and welded them to frame.

Where can I get those pipes I have an 81 cm400c and mine are cracked on both sides? I don't like the stock funky tapered ones anyways...

Seriously dudes. I just bought a 1982 Honda CM450E and the stock exhaust is killing me. Sounds like a wet fart. I love the look of the bike tho.

Endschalldämpfer sind Slip-On von Dock66. Krümmeranlage ist original.

Hätte noch eine Frage: Wie viel Benzin bekommst du in den Tank rein? Mit dem Oberrohr wird das doch echt eng?!
