Thanks Gary!!! Simple and to the point, a refreshing difference! I ran through the cycles and it seemed to work, so will actually regen today when I go out for the day. Thanks again!
Question! So I did everything you just said, and my system says 4 mins and is counting down. Do I have to hit it again for another cycle? How many cycles does it take to be cleaned?
We moved into our house 7 months ago and just now realized we needed to be adding salt (never had a water softener before). I just added salt to the tank and now the water pressure throughout our house is low. Is this typical? What do you suggest?
Whomever installed your system turned this reminder system on to tell you to contact the dealer for "routine" service. Likely there is nothing wrong with it at all, they just want you to call them for a service call to "check things over".
If you're troubleshooting your water softener you need to know this Pro Tip!
But what are you looking for durring each cycle?
Depends on what you are troubleshooting for. Thsi video will help. ruclips.net/user/liveLr3jyGiJdC0

Once it starts counting down you hit the regen button to fast forward to the next cycle.

Sorry to hear. Adding salt to the brine tank has no effect whatsoever on your water pressure. The problem must be some where else.
I ran a regen cycle and now it's saying to contact the dealer for service. The manual is useless and not quite sure what to do now.

@@GarytheWaterGuy To check things over and pay for a service call whether you need it or not.
