Stork nest Kirchzarten near Freiburg (Germany) - June 7, 2023

2 days after the dramatic rescue • Rettungsaktion im Stor... life is going on as usual again. We observe several feeding scenes, which turn out relatively meager, as it has not rained for several days. Nevertheless, it is always a spectacle. Small attacks by foreign storks are routinely fended off. The nest has been located on the tower of the church of St. Gallus for more than a hundred years. The young storks hatched in the period from April 30 to May 2. The old storks hunt on the wide meadows and fields in the Dreisamtal in one of the most beautiful landscapes of the Black Forest.
