Dude the stuff he’s doing with that guitar synth is absolutely fucking insane. Kinda surprised how little people utilize guitar synths and that one little shot displayed such an interesting and unique texture.
“Just don’t break it. Don’t. Do that.” Hilarious way to condense a valuable sentiment. I never understood buying gear you love, just to let it sit in the house. Give the old Jazzmaster some live reps!
That KMD analog delay (model number KP500) is one of the weirder designs. Yep, that tone control essentially adjusts how much boost there is for the upper mids and treble at the input stage for BOTH the wet and dry signals. Bizarrely, it means one could use the pedal as a mild treble booster, even in bypass mode.
Jamie your gear hoard is so kick ass bro, my father had a brown Epiphone scroll I miss that guitar my sister kept it after my father died I always loved that guitar, very underrated guitar I wish Epiphone would reissue it.
I remember seeing one of those Korg guitar synths in a music store back in the mid 90's, in Cleveland Heights, and I asked if I coudl try it out, and the guy behind the counter is like "Well, ya know, it's very difficult to control, it doesn't track too well", etc. It was like he was doing everything in his pwoer to make me lose interest in it. Still would have loved to have plugged in it and given ti a spin.
Between POH and Harriet the Spy, this dude will have no idea the influence he’s had on me and so many others. I’m not even a pedal geek. Fucking legend.
I have that same amp except mine is a Gretsch pro bass amp made in the Valco factory, same components as the supro thunderbolt. It’s absolutely amazing!
Is the part where he demos the guitar synth an actual song? It vaguely reminds me of Default by Atoms For Peace but I don't think that's what he's really playing.
I'LL GIVE U 800 FOR THE BACKUP SCROLL RIGHT NOW!! CASH MONEY BABY!! Lol, just kidding dude. that's an awesome collection. you have some really cool unique guitars.
Jamie is a modern legend. His contributions to the pedal game are unmatched

Is the outro an actual song or something? I'm getting deja vu and can't place it.

I don’t know why I’m surprised at how good a player he is. All these years I thought he just made pedals. Rock on!
That korg synth is very Wand-like. I love it
That guitar part at 1:30 is so sick. He might be the only pedal maker who makes music I could actually enjoy. Is this part of a song?
“Pounding for vipers” by The Party of Helicopters
@@jamiestillman2292 This song rips, thanks Jamie!

Some of my favorite gear videos include Jamie.

serious spinal tap vibes with this one. keep em coming

Jamie rocks, sucha G , his contributions to music are beyond imagination
Yo! Your the guy who told me about Gran Hechicero! That guy rocks man! Thank you!
Thank you for fulfilling my Stillman content craving for the week lol

100% true. He was a well know dude in certain circles before EQD
It took me a REALLY long time to connect Jamie with Party of Helicopters, I feel fortunate to have seen them live…the Toucher FOREVER!🍪🌈👽
love this series idea, would luv to see more
i really like his choices lol. seems down to earth.

The kind of player that needs all those guitars, deserves every guitar he owns
The two holes on the back of the JM headstock were likely to fit a proprietary aluminium doobie holder. It was those sorts of times.
Does it get really loud? Is it a good deal? Can it handle pedals well? Does it like suboctaves?
that weird saosin/dgd riff was awesome!
Is that a Steve Vai sig. model Jazz Master at 5:24 ? 🤩
making me rethink selling my sc-450...
Oh wow I don't think i've seen anyone use the custom shop SD jazzmaster humbucker stuff, any idea what pickups he chose to go under there?
Why do I want one of those epiphone guitars now
Seems like a cool dude. Of course how could you not be with 12 Jazzmasters lol.
Would love to know what effect chain is rolling around 3:40 with the jazzmaster
I have a black scroll bass you would dig. scroll on the top and bottom. guess I can't post a picture.
He's a pretty sentimental guy!
I gotta see the warlock with the reverse headstock Jackson neck
His accent and vocal timbre remind me of Utah Phillips.
Is the part where he demos the guitar synth an actual song? It vaguely reminds me of Default by Atoms For Peace but I don't think that's what he's really playing.
Why does he kind of look like Jamie Stillman?
The nefarious Doctor Bond!
Not jealous at all.
I'LL GIVE U 800 FOR THE BACKUP SCROLL RIGHT NOW!! CASH MONEY BABY!! Lol, just kidding dude. that's an awesome collection. you have some really cool unique guitars.
I will never sell my EQD gear..ever..and I have quite the few ..
Korg X-911!!!
What's the jazz master song?? Cure as fuck!
Jamie looks like dave grohl
Party of helicopters 🙌
i got a message saying I was a shortlist winner! what does that mean!?!?!
Do earthquaker make a uni vibe pedal ? If not they should
"The depths" not a uni-vibe but the EQD spin on it.
Fretless guitars!!!!
I really enjoyed his episode of Show Us Your Junk. ruclips.net/video/uMXCfpiy6MI/видео.html This one is great too!
why do all of his guitar tones sound like a 10 year old in guitar center
Cuz you are a hater 👍
