Very cool testimony. Everyone's story is different, but I wonder how many people have a similar one to yours. VeggieTales, Adventures in Odyssey, etc. were great quality teaching tools for youth. I'm going to go dig out my old Adventures in Odyssey!

I've never been good at praying. I don't know what to say, what to want, what I'm forgetting to be thankful for. I'm so thankful that Jesus provides us a simple prayer that covers everything at once. Acknowledgement of God's greatness and sovereignty, asking for provision, and hope going forward
If you don't want to pray that prayer, just pray as if God is a friend. He is a friend. Remember, God is still THE God of the Universe soooo...respect is still due. Don't call God bro or ntn like that.
It’s helped me to honestly ask God to give me words. I don’t like to say the same things over and over again when i’m just talking to Him and sometimes sitting in silence is such a good thing too! Ask Him and you shall receive!!

The section on forgiveness really hit hard. I really struggle to forgive and feel like I have to keep forgiving people. Old wounds will open or people I forgive give me new things to get angry about. Praise Jesus for His grace. I'm so grateful he can be patient and forgive even when I struggle
@6:04 and this is the prayer that Jesus prayed...in the garden. Truly, we can say that He was a man acquainted with our sorrows, our troubles and our tests. No words can express the awe this whole video inspired and the gratefulness for your ministry. The LORD bless you all! P.S. the background vocalization at this prayer point was amazing!
I have always struggled with my prayer life. It is easily the weakest part of my narrow walk in Christ. I live a pretty boring yet very satisfying life now retired after the military. Not much to pray for or about really without it beginning to feel painstakingly repetitive and seeing to become a chore or obligation. Nobody likes a phoney just because Paul says we should do it "unceasingly"! The Lord's prayer three times a day (as biblically expected) is just golden for me. Like Pizza, it hits all the right spots and leaves me feeling fully satisfied. Hope the Lord feels the same........🤔
I was excited about the idea of writing our own versions of this prayer. I prayed for Ritchie writing the new song and was so very moved by its beauty, passion, intensity and the tension. It is beautiful and rich. I want, so very much, to be part of a group, a camarata, a chorus praying this version.
This forgiveness of debt is not just towards transgressions against us, but debt itself. Debt or charges keeps one bound and tempted to do evil to receive restoration of loss
Ever since I was a kid, my parents had a tradition to pray the Lord’s Prayer with me every night before I went to bed. To this day, I still call them each night to pray. Learning about this prayer’s origin felt like rediscovering an old friend, and I want to thank you for providing this experience. God bless this channel.
I was raised Catholic, and I have had this prayer memorized since I was 5, but I didn't know what it meant. It was just sounds from my mouth is how I was taught. Thank you for explaining this.
Bible Project, I served as a minister for 40 years and this beautiful piece of masterful instruction (calling it a video seems to cheapen it) has me in tears. Honestly the most beautiful explanation of the Lord’s prayer and its purpose I have ever heard or seen. I have no more words.
I personally really enjoy to know more about this project. The more I follow this project the more I can understand the truth of Christ . Thank to this project I am finally able to answer my friends' and my own biblical questions and doubts
I've never felt like i was good at praying, knowing what to say, or ask. It can be intimidating, talking to the creator of the universe... At some point i started making a point to try and pray this prayer daily. It feels like its helped my growth a lot, and eventually i started to add my own words. Like i guess one example, i lost a friend awhile back over my faith. And i wanted to do as God wants and forgive them, but i still felt so angry any time i thought about the last conversation we had. So i started using my own words in this prayer, saying "forgive us our transgressions, and teach us to forgive." I still get angry from time to time when i think about that person. But i can also see how much of that anger God has helped me grow out of, and i know its only a matter of time before He helps me to fully make peace. God is so powerful, and so gracious, and loving. Im still learning a lot and growing a lot. I still mess up way more than i would like to admit. It can be hard to take steps, or have the discipline to keep following Him when things get tough. Especially for me when i constantly seem to feel like i have failed Him... But i trust Him, i know he knows my heart. Even if i don't know the words to say... I maybe rambled a little there. I guess i just wanted to get that off my chest.
Thats so so beautiful, and no you didn't ramble, what you said really ministered to me. I just know God is proud of you for standing firm in your faith and working on forgivness, were all learning and growing, it's not easy but it's worth it 💕
This is very beautifully done and well-thought out and well-made. I thank God for the arts being used so prolifically here in this project. Also, nice touch with the Aramaic graffiti on the Latin Roman poster with the word "ܪܩܐ/Raqa" on it. The Aramaic singing was very beautiful to hear and meditate upon.
The fact that this prayer also gives us insight on how God wants us to talk to Him, we have access to the SAME prayer our saviour did, the SAME prayer from the God of the universe
I started praying again the night of July 13th. I’m figuring out how to pray besides saying the daily Our Father and Hail Mary prayers. I’ve finally started talking to, thanking Him, and asking Him to provide for my wants. I’ve started conversing with Him when I have thoughts and feelings I want to share. Only He can hear me.
What a blessing you all are to us. I believe wholeheartedly that God is doing a new thing for believers who will turn their eyes and ears to Him; to truly seek Him and His righteousness. He is, after all, a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Heb 11:6). God bless you all, Bible Project!
Most of all I’m thankful for bothe your wives’ prayers as we were taught how to sort ourselves up. I’ve picked up some wisdom about how important the blood of Christ is to cleansing sin away from the wound. Be blessed.
That point at 4:15 made me start crying. Today I have a better comprehension of how God’s forbearance towards us directs us to reflect His light in forgiving others. I was raised a Christian, and I strive to live by these ideals, no matter how much I fail to match them every day. But I am grateful for your videos. They help me grasp these truths in ways that capture them so succinctly and get down into my heart. Thank you. Yahweh has every right to destroy us for our sin and yet He is so patient, kind and merciful toward us. We should be the same when others sin against us, especially if we want to show our appreciation for His own mercy. That’s how we love God and neighbour. That’s how we conquer the evil with the good. Jesus truly gave us the best example to imitate his Father. ❤
As always you guys are great! My pastor is always saying he loves comic books, movies with superhero’s,etc. & I was thinking that is different… but after watching one of your videos to help me understand a book of the Bible (imagine it), I thought of him & it makes perfect since. This caricature presentation along with your talk is painting a picture of it all & it helps tremendously. Andrew Wommack is always saying how we have to study the work and then get a picture on the inside of us as to what the word is saying & this is perfect to make that happen. Thank you guys for serving God & meeting our needs!!!! 🙏🏻
I love the contrasting animations between "what's going on in the real world" here, and the "underlying wisdom" portions. Aside from looking lively and pretty, it's also a good way to portray the whole story behind the SotM.
I shared this video with my daughters tonight when we had our prayer time before bed. Im always trying to teach them - in word and deed - about God and Jesus and how to live the life of a true follower of Christ. I love your videos because they bring the ideas i share with them and the scriptures we read into a focus that is difficult to explain. I believe it helps to strengthen their understanding and lets them know that God is not so far away. Thanks for all you do.
I reckon this is one of your best videos. The way you connected the prayer to Jesus' final moments in the garden before his death and resurrection was so enlightening. Also, the claim that the Lord's prayer allows us to live through Jesus is a beautiful sentiment.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us! It's great to hear our resources are impacting you in such a meaningful way. We appreciate you and your encouragement today.
I dreamt about this prayer last night. Uploaded right on time in my case to want to learn more. This being the prayer that Jesus Himself prayed before going to the cross is something that had not connected with me before. Wonderful explanation and teaching.

A very deep understanding of the prayer only the wise can truely appreciate the deep thoughts of this video from the choice of words such using sky instead of heaven I love you guys
I decided to start watching your videos because I have felt that God has put it on my heart. Prayer has been showing up in a lot of sermons that I go to and I believe that God is trying to make me woman of prayer. This video helped so much.
You guys do such great work. I love sharing your videos with my daughters. They are easy bite sized bits of the Bible that they can learn from. Thank you for all you do. God bless you and may He keep you safe.
Many of you have asked great questions about our translation of the Lord's Prayer. For example, why do we say "kingdom of the skies" instead of "kingdom of heaven?"
Our scholar team begins by translating the original Greek text of Jesus' prayer and comparing it to how other trustworthy biblical translation teams parse those same words and phrases. Their translation aims to preserve the literary design when identical words and repeated phrases appear in the Greek text by making them repeat similarly in English, no matter how often a word or phrase is used. They also try to use words and phrases that convey the same meaning but give new vitality to passages that have become overly familiarized. Some words may sound strange, but these translation choices are a more literal rendering of the Greek text into English.
If you're curious for more, Tim and Jon discuss the translation "kingdom of the skies" in a recent Question and Response podcast episode. You can check it out here (starting at 46:19): ruclips.net/video/WUpZLLnc1mU/видео.htmlsi=av9x-dRAu9Ivn_Fz&t=2779

I don't have the words to describe how beautiful this series is
The weightyness reflects God's holiness. Perfect.
AH! I love this, I need this. I will come back to this video again and again and again and I will learn this song too!
Thank you so much for sharing this with us! It's great to hear how the Sermon on the Mount series is impacting our audience.
You guys make it so easy to understand the Bible. Thank you so much.
The singing of the Our Father prayer was so beautiful it brought me to tears. Thank you for sharing, you are doing amazing work.
Thank you for clarifying that forgiveness is not an ok pass to evil!
Thank you for dissecting the Lord's prayer into the key elements, helps us pay close attention on how we should be living daily.
Thy will b done on EARTH as it is done in HEAVEN !!! COME SOON LORD !!!
Thank you. From those with ears and eyes. Thank you.
Praise our father! I love you so much. Thank you, Jesus, for bringing us to him!

Absolutely amazing. This prayer has become more and more powerful as I’ve made it routine in my daily prayer. Thank you for what you do.

So i started using my own words in this prayer, saying "forgive us our transgressions, and teach us to forgive."
I still get angry from time to time when i think about that person.
I just know God is proud of you for standing firm in your faith and working on forgivness, were all learning and growing, it's not easy but it's worth it 💕
That's a really powerful prayer. Jesus is perfect, he just combined everything into a small prayer.
Praise God
This is very beautifully done and well-thought out and well-made. I thank God for the arts being used so prolifically here in this project.
Also, nice touch with the Aramaic graffiti on the Latin Roman poster with the word "ܪܩܐ/Raqa" on it. The Aramaic singing was very beautiful to hear and meditate upon.
"The Lord's prayer" a prayer that is so powerful to one's soul and others. Words that came From God himself.
Thank you. Simply, thank you for all that you are doing for the Kingdom.

I am always asking God to give me victory over temptations. However, I love framing of asking God to keep them away all together
These videos make me cry like a baby. Thank you all for your work and dedication to the word of God.
We're so glad to hear how our resources have impacted you! Thanks for sharing this with us.
the singing is inspired! love it
As always you guys are great! 🙏🏻
That song was UNREAL.
Please release it!
The ending sequence broke me. Putting what you just said practically. Amazing. Please do this more
You guys are a guiding light in my times of spiritual turmoil. Godbless you bible prject ❤
Great video, thanks be to God who showed me this on how to pray and how to forgive others so thati may be forgiven.
Thank you! We are happy to be a resource for you.

Omg I love this video....this is beautiful and just what I needed!! Jesus is King ❤️
A very deep understanding of the prayer only the wise can truely appreciate the deep thoughts of this video from the choice of words such using sky instead of heaven
I love you guys
😮 This video is an excellent explanation of the Our Father Prayer and the role God plays in my life. The ending is beautiful 🎉❤
I decided to start watching your videos because I have felt that God has put it on my heart. Prayer has been showing up in a lot of sermons that I go to and I believe that God is trying to make me woman of prayer. This video helped so much.
