Hi Andrew, looks like you had a trying day at the office on this review. Well done for keeping so cool - I'd have flipped out. I was always a die-hard Dell XPS13 fan since 2016 but after some wierd UK Dell specs with limited 2TB SSD at the time, some expensive pricing and me not being sure of that latest XPS format last year, I jumped ship - I bought the X1 Carbon Gen 11 based on your review you did at the time. First Thinkpad for me so the mousepad was a bit of a learning curve but I've not regretted the decision. Thank you !. I like some of the Gen 12 mods but not the sound. I'll be sticking with my Gen 11 for quite some time I think. Gen 11 for me is a fab machine for all round stuff and takes a hammering on the road and laughs it off. Bulletproof !!. I always enjoy your reviews. I am in Saudi and catch up with you a day or so behind your live streams. Fantastic insights and thank you !!
I want to know if the heat on the bottom and top of the keyboard is better than the gen 10. That my only con for the gen 10. I cant put the laptop on my lap due to the heat.
To cool the same amount of power consumption as the two fan solution here, which is designed for 25 W, you need five airjets. The power consumption would be massive.
