I've had the privilege of attending a few watercolour workshops with Milind Mullick. Both online and offline. He is an institution in himself here in India.. I am so thrilled you chose him for your inspirational series!
As an Indian, It makes me happy to see you showcasing Milind’s work, He is great in term of where to land users attention, Meaning when you look at his paintings, You will instantly be drawn to the area where he wants you to look at.💖 Paul you are an amazing artist , I always wait for Wednesday 😇
Wow, Paul thanks a lot for honoring Milind Mulick's work. He is a legend in our neck of the woods and a true genius with watercolor. His loose style and vivid colors make a great spectacle ... I must admit that you are one of such a breed. Inspiring, great to watch, and legendary. Love from India.
This was very inspirational as you broke it down into stages making me feel confident to try. The music was beautiful and I could in my head hear you say, " Just chuck in some color."
I always enjoy your videos, instructional style and much so - your wit! But I dare say this is one of my favorites. Such a detail person I have known I need to grow in loose paining and this one is absolutely right on to motivate and teach how to continue that journey. Thank you so much!!
Yea! It's Paul Clark Day (AKA Wednesday)! Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial inspired by Milind Mulick! He is one of my favorite watercolorists. I even invested in a set of Camlin (Camel) paints in spite of the fact that he has a curated set of Daniel Smith watercolors available on Blick in the US. I live in Texas, not India, but I would love to go there. You picked beautiful music for this one, too! I'm always drawn to "tropical" watercolor paintings, with vibrant greens, blues and pinks, and stark value contrasts between light and shadows! I love that you frequently use rough press heavy paper, not just cold press! This lesson was perfect for that! You are so awesome, and such a great artist and teacher! I consider this tutorial to be "advanced!" I will try to do it justice, but Mulick's paintings are very difficult for me. Thank you for showing some of the secret techniques for recreating his style! Sorry for the long-winded comment! I'll just shut up and paint now!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart… I’ve learned so much watching your videos and gained so much inspiration from you and your humor … subscriber from Canada 🎉❤
Milind Mullick's books containing many of his paintings are something which can be cherished ! His urban and rural landscape paintings are a treat to the eyes ! The colours he uses are very vibrant and beautiful !
I've admired Milind Mulick's work for ages and have had a crack at some of his paintings - will definitely be giving this one a go! Can also recommend Niaz Hannan and Sikander Singh :)
love your watercolor Wednesday. I'm a new watercolor painter and have learned so much from watching. You might want to remind your viewers that they can slow the video down and it gives a much finer look at your actual brushstrokes. Intorudcing us to different artists (Milind Mulick for instance) is the best.
Lieber Paul, das mit der Klappe halten und malen werde ich mir jetzt endgültig zu Herzen nehmen. Vielen Dank für die vielen tollen Tutorials- Liebe Grüsse aus der Schweiz.
Great as usual! Lovely colours. Wasn't sure about the blue at first but as the painting developed, it was perfect. Don't think, talk too much about painting, we need to just feel and get stuck in! Shut up and paint! 😁🎨🖌️
Man Paul, this is your style. The blue really pulls one into the painting. Loving the contrast. Bless you for leading the way to better painting,Sherry
It was a pleasant surprise to have Milind Mullick's painting style in Wonderful watercolour Wednesday tutorial. I have some of his books and have tried to copy his style but not very successfully. Thank you so much. Now we have more Indian brands of watercolour and the benefit of brands from other countries but most artist use only Camlin watercolour paints. So a request, please include these next time you review brands of paints. It is one of the best for the price one pays.
@@ArtbyPaulClark Thank you. It is amazing what skills some artists have. They create such beautiful art without masking fluid, without easels, without taping, without much paraphernalia on ordinary cartridge sheets.
Hi Paul, thanks for the intro to Milind Mulick. What a fab artist. Loved this tutorial. Well I've had a go and tried to keep it loose. On the strength of this I looked for and found other tutorials on this artist. Very interesting. Thanks again xx❤
Hi Paul Karel here. This artist reminds me of one of my favorites John Pike from Woodstock, New York. I loved how you did the palm trees an the suggestion of trunks. Such a happy painting.
I am from India. Have been following your Channel for a very long time. Never miss any of your videos. Happy you have showcased Milind's fluid watercolor work. Another Indian watercolor artiste ( no more) whose work might inspire you, is Paul Raj.
Your paintings are always authentic looking. This is a lovely one as usual. It is so inspiring how you move the brush and every detail comes out real looking. The drawing in the beginning is grand and the colors are outstanding. Thank you again for another watercolor Wednesday.
Milind Mulick ji is very inspiring. His father Pratap Mulick ji has continued a lot in art industry. Thank you Paul. Please show us one painting of Indian Mandirs or Ghats...please. thank you!
Great , I am very much delighted to see my teacher, Milind Mulick sir's painting reproduced by you. I learned to paint water colors under his guidance about 10 years back in our hometown of pune, ( India ). It could be a great experience for the students like us to watch and learn from two of the masters of water color paintings together, Paul Clark and Milind Mulick Sir. Once again thank you so much for a beautiful demo of painting of my Guru ( teacher ) Milind Malick sir.
I am excited to learn about another artist's work. Thank you for introducing me to Mr. Mulick. This looks like loads of fun, so I WILL shut up and paint!
Another beautiful work, Paul. I have never heard of this artist, but I’ll be sure to look him up. I like that style very much. Thank you once again for another inspiring tutorial. 😊👍

Lovely painting! Most enjoyable video!!! It's difficult to paint loose. You made it look much easier. Everyone seems to want to paint loose but when I start out loose, those details just show up and I guess that's my style... more information.
Wonderful painting for the inspiration series. I have been a fan of Milind Mullicks art work ever since I saw quite a few in exhibitions here. I have tried to capture his play of light and shadows too . Such an awesome painter and Thank you Paul for recognising him.
Good afternoon, dear Paul! In this Wednesday we got the Nirvana: music, atmosphere, splash of bright colors. Thank you for this great tutorial and honoring Mr. Mulick. He is a Master as you are. Beautiful job! I hope to one day soon paint as good as you. Can you do a tutorial/tips on how to add the 2nd and 3rd layers/shadows on to a painting? I have trouble adding depth
