Caught the biggest jack of my life on a nose hooked mini mullet. Had worn through front of the lure so I couldn’t rig it properly and just nose rigged it and worked it aggressively on the top. Jack demolished it.
Thanks for the info. I'll have to check it out. I grew up snook fishing, but now I find bass fishing little more laid back at my older age. Besides look at all these bass baits I can now buy and try!
I'm the opposite. I grew up on the e coast of Fl and always fished with my grandfather down in Jensen but we never fished for snook. He talked about it but never did it. We used to fish the inlet(sebastian) when i was in junior high but slowed down after the military because of family. Now im in my 60's i find it more challenging and fun
Great video, thanks! But I have a question. Is there any reason why you can’t just run the hook into the nose of the little mullet and out the top back, just like you would do so with a weighted NLBN jig head on a 5” NLBN swim bait?
Just got the 5" Lil Mullet for insanely finicky Hybrid/Striped Bass up in NE Tennessee. I might even try trolling these up here. Anyone using a "Stinger" treble hook setup with these ? With the wide wide back it looks prime for such. Best setup for fishing these on the top four inches of the water ?
I just saw this video and am curious to know something. Could you rig the lil mullets your way using a circle hook? And what size would you recommend? Does a 3/0 sound to big?

Rebirth of the banjo minnow baby
I can’t believe no one has brought up the banjo Minnow. 😂 All kidding aside, great tip and baits look sick.
This is a great idea I will definitely get some NLBN baits and give this a try. Thanks for all you do.👍🏽👍🏽🤗
Used your rig some big striped bass that I was missing with the swimbait hook worked great
Great tips! 🎣🐟🐟🐟 I wouldn’t put lead in my mouth however ☠️
You're the man bro, thank you for sharing some of your knowledge 💪🏽

What rod and reel are you using to throw that bait around bridges etc.?
Typically i use an 8000 spinner on a 9ft heavy rod
Thank you for the tip bro 💪🏽,
Hey I’m Scottish & one word in & I just found out Americans say “eh-nother” instead of “another”! Ha cool 😎

You definitely can, i would say anything under a 5/0 would be fine!
@@tightsplicecharters9976 thanks for the response back. Going to try your way and another way i saw plus the NLBN way
Did he put lead in his mouth
