@@benjaminwiner6220 I don’t disagree but usually with German cars we know well in advance of 100k miles if the motor is shit or not. So far these ones have been really good across the board.
I would disagree, when I had a B9 I walked by B9.5's and said "dayum", now I have a B9.5 and think it looks great. Maybe from some angles the B9 looks cooler.
This entire car has aged so well given the mileage. I know the 5 cyl Audis are all the hype for how they can be tuned but this is no slouch, either. Weird about them not doing cooling seats with the quilted pattern, but a decent tradeoff if you don't live in a hot climate.
The S4 has proven to be great value especially as a premium sports sedan and as a used car it’s even better Would love to see a comparison with the M340i on the used market
I've always loved the Audi S4, it's one of my favourites in the compact luxury sports sedan segment. I love its 3.0L turbo V6 and it's all around one of the perfect sports sedans to have. Of course I'd still take the BM2 M340i, that's always the king in this segment, but I like the overall package that the S4 gives you. Also I love the this pre-facelifted S4 a bit more in terms of looks than the facelifted one, although the facelifted one still looks awesome with its more aggressive look. I prefer a more softer elegant look and this S4 certainly gives you that.
I have a 2021 A4 and I stuck with the 2.0T as I plan to keep it forever and in terms of long term cost, the EA888 will be MUCH less expensive than the 6 or 8 cylinder Audi motors. Based on my experience with the 6 cylinder Audi's in the past, at about 7 years you better get rid of it.
I love my 2018 S5! It’s almost identical to the S4 but adds the hatch which is very spacious. The powertrain is a major highlight, lots of power, smooth transmission, and it sounds great. You said this S4 doesn’t have the adaptive cruise control - those sensors on the front only came with the system, it just isn’t always obvious at first when it’s on. The adaptive cruise makes life so much easier for heavy traffic commutes or long drives. I waited to find one with the sport package and it was definitely worth it, the rear differential makes a big difference while cornering on throttle to make the rear rotate. The adaptive dampers are nice but I usually find myself using the individual mode to leave the suspension in comfort. The value in the pre-refresh models from 18 and 19 is the way to go, post 2020 gets you the touch screen (which I don’t care to have) and updated styling but also gets you cheap piano black plastic on the center console and adds usually $5-10k. A low mileage 18 or 19 can go for around $40k or less!
From a 2017 A4 owner the S4 or S5 prior to the touch screen / piano black update would be an awesome car to get! Audi of late are considerably using cheaper interior materials
I'm about to hit a whopping 50k on my '18 S4 hahah. Interesting to see the used pricing wow. Got to change the oil this weekend. I recommend 5W40 Leichtlauf High Tech Engine Oil - Liqui Moly LM2332 especially if out of warranty.
I love that cluster and interior instead of new ones I don't like all th crome but u get massage seats and with a tune and tcu tune these are fast and they reliable..my buddy has stage 2 2018 s4 and it moves intake dp and tune and seats are awesome it launches HARD lol and virtual cockpit is awesome when u use nav and he's ambient lighting it's awesome car u get alot and they cheap used I been looking for one u can't beat it b9s4

@@arditbajraktari5631 it’s my opinion that it’s better. Car feels bigger inside and being a sportback has a lot of trunk space. Also I believe the body lines are so much better
My brother has a 2019 S5 with 60k miles. Zero issues so far & it’s very easy to work on compared to older Audi models.
Thanks for sharing your experience!
100,000+ miles is a better indication of longevity.

Same here. I have a 2018 S4 Prestige with the diff and shocks. Over 62,000 miles to date, there have been zero unscheduled service visits.
I have a 2022 model that I purchased new, and after 26k miles, still love it. Absolutely no issues thus far.

The pre face lift looks way better than the post face lift,
Debatable but both look amazing

I use my cooling seat function occasionally but oh my in cold months I absolutely love my heated seats.
MMM polo is POPPIN. Can't wait to check this one out.
Does “poppin” mean ill-fitting?
Haha thanks!

Why not factor rec 0w20? Is thinner oil really that bad for the motor?
You look great in that car Matt, was the delay on the acceleration due to the transmission or the tune?
Thanks! It was just the transmission deciding what gear it wanted to be in I think.

Nice daily driver for sure.
This is our dreamed Consolidated Outland Nomad reliability Honda Type R Night Cop Chase Kapraku.
my friend just picked up one for $25k 40,000 miles- im like….. ehhhhhh seems too good to be true
Crazy that this is a 5 year old Audi?!
I love Audis but $26k for a 5 year old car that’s over 100k miles? Nope
Enjoying watching an S4 review where you just talk about the competition the whole time… why
An Audi for 26k with that many miles?
Over a 100k miles, that’s over 40k miles for a car that age.
