This game has some great art, and it's got a lot of humor. It's too bad that it lacks the depth needed to really give it any staying power. Still, it's fun while it lasts, and you'll definitely laugh a few times.

This version has cuts on win poses, other smaller animations, plus a pretty big one, when you knock your opponent "around the world". Very noticeable absence in the PS1 version.

Pocket Fighter rolls off the tongue a lot better, it's a lot shorter, and it's also the original name of the game in Japan. It also does a lot more to explain what the game actually IS since the pocket aesthetic is the main appeal of the game. If anything, I'm not sure why they went with the "Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix" name in US arcades.

The characters easiest for me to use were chun li, Sakura and ibuki, 😂 been pressing the buttons of the controller recklessly just to get combos because I can’t memorize them
