Thanks for the excellent information- full disclosure- the EP25 HW rev 2.6 is not yet compatible with HA. need HW Rev 2.5 or older. (I trialed an errored for a long time not understanding why I couldn't see it (January 2024)

Thanks, this is exactly what I needed to confirm! For your caseta bridge (smart hub) do you have the Pro or the regular one? (I've read that using Pico remotes with non-lutron devices in HA requires the Pro).

I have the regular one, model L-BDG2-WH. It connects to the network via ethernet too so it is one less device using wifi.

Thanks for the great idea. I recently added, shop lights to my workbench and retrofitted to LED t8 bulbs and the fixtures have no switches, recently got into Lutron and Home Assistant. So anxious to try this out. I like the flexibility. I’m thinking you can pick up these plugs in a 4 pack.

Yes. I have purchased a couple of 4 packs. It tends to be the cheapest way to get them. This has been working great. My biggest problem was retraining my brain to press the switch instead of pulling the chains. I wish I had done this sooner.

There is an app to control Home Assistant but the Home Assistant software itself has to be installed on some sort of server, NAS, virtual machine, etc...
