The East LA Film Festival (ELAFF) was founded in 2008 by Juan Escobedo and produced by The East LA Society of Film and Arts (TELASOFA) www.telasofa.org. For the past 13 years is has been going strong with the support of friends who are artists, actors, directors, nonprofits and with LA TIMES en Español.
