Finally a vanilla video with eco 2.0 from start!
Well played sir!
Much better than any of the bigger youtubers for eco 2.0 who constantly use mods that don't give a true reflection of eco 2.0.
Videos like "Learn how to build a city in Economy 2.0!!!"
First minute of the video and they are already unlocking all tiles, or decreasing tiles fee
Thanks for your kind words and support! I really appreciate it. ❤😊
@@jao256 I appreciate your feedback. ❤
Thank you very much, this is exactly the video I've been waiting for
Glad I could help! Thanks for watching! ❤️😊
Wow dude! You did something I've been trying to do for a week without success! I couldn't find a proper tutorial on how to start a city after Economy 2. Great job, man. Thanks a lot!
Glad I could help! Thanks! 😊❤️
5 cities had to start over cuz my cities hit bankruptcy I’m trash cuz 😢😂
I'm sure you'll build a beautiful city! Just enjoy the process and you'll end up with something special.
😊❤️
@@play4fn update I created a new city n I’m making profit by decreasing the budget of the building then raising it to suite the demand
@@user-gc5hu1ks1m Absolutely! Adjusting the budgets of your services early in the game can be a huge help in managing your finances.
Thank you for this video, it was really helpful.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching! ❤️😊

Nice first episode of your guide. It gives me a few ideas on how to start my first city. It was a little fast paced, but nothing that couldn't be overcome by lowering the playback speed when needed.
On another note, I know at the beginning you said this was going to be a non-modded city, but since you've already got Move It installed, might I suggest adding either Toggle Overlays or Whiteness Toggle to eliminate the whiteout condition whenever you open one of the info-view panes? It would make it a lot easier for your viewers to see what you're doing.
Keep up the good work.
Thanks for your comment and support!
You're right that Move It was installed by default (I have a habit of including some useful mods even in my no-mod list!), and I forgot to disable them.
However, the goal of these episodes is to show the vanilla experience of the game, and I didn't use any mods, even though Move It was there.
I'll make sure to update the mod list for the next episode.
I appreciate your suggestion, and I agree that using Toggle Overlays or Whiteness Toggle would be helpful.
However, since I don't want to break the no-mod aspect, I don't think it would be right to use them in these episodes.
Even though I have them enabled in my usual mod list and have used them in other videos. Thanks again for your suggestion and your kind words.
😊❤
Ok, now I understood what I have to do, just wait to export oil. hahahaha
You can do it! 😅❤️
Subbed. Keen to see more. Eco 2.0 make things very different to CS1 style of heavily modded that I normally play. CS2 is a whole new ball game and its been a hard transition. Thanks for demystifying it a little bit.
Thanks for the comment! CS2 has come a long way since its release, and it's really starting to come into its own. I'm personally really enjoying it. Thanks for the sub and support! 😊❤️
concise and informative! love it
I appreciate that! ❤️
Thank you!
Thanks for your support! ❤️😊
VG, thanks.
I really appreciate your support. ❤😊
Great video! Been struggling to get passed level 4. However, is the only answer oil? Seems like that was the difference maker, and until you placed your first, it wasn't looking good.
Thanks for the comment! Well, after the ECONOMY 2 update, I tried different ways to start the city, and in those where I didn’t use mines, farms, and oil wells, my city went bankrupt! I think the game now focuses much more on these aspects after the update. But this was just my personal experience, and it might not be entirely accurate.
@@play4fn Thank you, and I am seeing the same from my own research - while I love the challenge, it does feel Eco2.0 needs some tweaking if that is a necessity to avoid bankruptcy. I still think they are making steps in the right direction. Great content! Looking forward to the next.
Nope, just don't put services you aren't able to pay for (except for light and water), even if the citizens are mad, ignore them and keep expanding until you are in green. It's really simple, just don't add everything they need at the first minute, of course you're gonna go bankrupt.
@@hanniaedithmartinezadame794 Well, after Economy 2, it’s not that simple anymore, and that’s the problem. Unhappy citizens = negative budget and bankruptcy! The game’s economy has become much more complex and realistic, which I think is much more exciting and better.
This has been my personal experience, though.
@@play4fn we must be doing something different. Idk what then. The worst my people get is neutral, and still I'm able to be in green. As soon as I'm able to pay monthly for a service, I put it xd
Rly good Video, i was struggling a bit with only vanilla but the challenge was fun :D
Thanks! Vanilla can be tough, but a fun challenge!
I've made a lot of videos using mods but This new series is all vanilla, 8 months after the game's release, and it's surprisingly enjoyable!
This should be named The Road to Self-Sufficiency in CS2.
I agree, that's a great title! And the struggle continues in Episode 2, which will be out soon!
It would be better if they started optimizing, even in your video at the 12th minute you can see that they still haven’t fixed the problems with optimization. But they raised the price of the game after its release
Thanks for your comment! While CS2 launched rough, devs have fixed a ton (like 90%!). The game's way more enjoyable now. Price increase might not be perfect, but the fun is there!
Nice video
Keep them a little longer
I'll try to. Thanks! 👍❤️

Try starting a new city on the "Tampere" map without resources.😄
Well, honestly, that’s like asking me to bake a cake without any ingredients! 😂 But hey, I appreciate the challenge!" 😊❤
@@play4fn I just started on this map without knowing that at the start there were only stones (even before the office fix) It was difficult, but I managed😄
Like it! Got a sub from me
Thanks! I really appreciate it. 😊❤️

What map is this
Do you buy electricity?
For now, yes! It was more cost-effective this way to save on budget, but I do have plans for that in the next episode! Thanks for commenting!
You are expanding way toooooo fast thus not letting ur citizen move in/populate/level up to provide you a good income
thanks for watching the video and your comment. 👍
You might not feel it while watching, but I’ve let the city run on its own for over an hour between some of the slides, just to make sure everything’s working fine. In the second episode, which I’ll be releasing in a few hours, you’ll get a better sense of this. 😊❤️
Not going to lie you sound like AI text to speech bro, not convinced you're real
Thanks for the comment! While I can't record my own voice yet, this lets me share my message. I'm working on improvements, and hope you can accept this for now. Thanks for your understanding and support! ❤️
