This is my second full recorded 100% run of this game. I got 29:41 in my first run but I wanted sub 29 before uploading it and submitting it on speedrun.com. No one has ever submitted a 100% run, so here I am.
Emulator used: BizHawk last version with an Xbox 360 controller.
This run is good up to the final level where I lost 35 seconds because of a big death which had never happened before! I hadn't practiced the bonus level for like 50 attempts and my hands were shaking because of this pace.
I used fast routes for the levels 1 and 2 because their are the first 2 levels, so if I died I would have restarted without losing much time.
Then I used safe routes for level 4 and 5 because it's very likely to lose many acorns there.
I played the levels 7 and 8 in yolo mode because there are way to many acorns, so I can use any route.
Finally, I played safely the level 10 because it is a very hard level. I don't know how I managed to gold split here with my shaking hands lol.
And then comes the heart breaking bonus level. I should have practiced it more. I was to confident maybe, because it's an easy level.
Nevertheless I got my sub 29 (which could have been sub 28 without this terrible death!). Anyway, I've been practicing this category for a week and I'm satisfied with this time. Besides, that awful death gives a chance to someone else to beat my PB . The 100% category may look easy but it's not ^^", so good luck to new challengers.
