I can't say what you will or won't regret as everyone has different preferences, opinions and priorities. And as far as price is concerned, I think everything is well overpriced nowadays, and 120 quid is a lot of money to some people, but very little to others. No I don't think it's worth the money tbh, but it has a great sound for it's size. If you've already got the flip 5 why bother spending more to get this? Up to you though really and what you want and can afford. Hope that helps.
I'd have to say the flip 6, but the horizon 2 is pretty dam good, and it's a clock radio. They really are two completely different things entirely. The Flip 6 is a portable speaker, but the horizon 2 is a bedroom clock radio with 2 alarms and a great sound too but it's not portable. It needs to be plugged in, so it's an unfair comparison really. But the flip 6 has a slightly better sound I'd say.
That's a good question! I'm not entirely sure to be honest as I don't have the original version. I've looked on the jbl website for answers but nothing obvious there. Seems to be the only difference is the outside design. I've noticed a significant difference in all these speakers by changing their settings to personal preferences in the app 👌
Tbh a bit beyond my technical knowledge. I've looked on jbl website and doesn't mention Bluetooth codecs but does list Bluetooth profiles and other stuff. You could try asking them in the chat on the website at jbl.com, I'm sure you'll get the information you need 🤞
SBC via BT 5.1. SBC crap is tens of years old, but a better codec would not benefit this particular speaker. The sad part is they use SBC with more expensive speakers.
Depends on your definition of 'enough noise' and where you play it? For me, the flip 6 is better than all the small portable speakers, including the charge 5 and even the xtreme 4, in terms of sound balance and quality, and also power for it's size. That's all I can really say tbh. I'm going to be doing a sound test between the flip 6 and charge 5 in a week or more, if that helps.
probably not, this is newer realease so get that, cause I other day bought gray one from local store brobabl was sitting on that shelf for 2 years... bass does rumble sound and sound is kinda mid, it was CS serial number witch isn't great from what I see on the internet, best one is GG so I'm goan return it and buy this one
@JonelKingas this one is actually TL version. It's got a great overall sound with good separation and nice bass. I don't think there's much difference in the different versions tbh. I could be wrong though 🤔
@JonelKingas I'm sure there are differences in materials used and quality of build etc. You could always start an online chat at the jbl website to clarify, they'll know better than anyone. For me, if it sounds good why waste time trying to get something else cos of what others say? This TL flip 6 sounds bloody great to me, seriously! And I'd prefer plastic speakers over paper any day. I can remember blowing my old pioneer speakers that were paper no less?! There was a tear in the paper! I'd say plastic will last longer for sure 👍 Even thick paper will break down and deteriorate much quicker than plastic. That's why there's so much plastic in the world, because it lasts a lot longer and takes time to rot!
@@MyTechTalks it arrived today, its a TL version but sounds way better than CS from that local shop maybe it was defected, this one is good, no rumble and bass nice
That looks really cool 😎
When flip 7 is coming?
Yeh you can hardly see the volume buttons jbl should've thought about that 😮
Totally agree, still sounds great though 👍
you made stunning channel, goodbye, 😍
Thank you 👍 😊
Which is better in bass and sound quality?jbl flip 5 and 6
Haven't got a flip 5 so not sure. I'm guessing the flip 6 though tbh. It's really good for its relatively small size 👌
@@MyTechTalks So is this speaker worth $120? Is there anything better for the money? Will I regret getting this one?

@@MyTechTalks ok thanks bro, success for your channel....👍👍👍
No problem, and thanks a lot 👍
Is the sound quality different? Or just same old setup as the original

Flip 5 has a full range racetrack woofer but the original I think you meant the flip 1 has 2 full range circular drivers
We have a cool hidden camera you'd like to review?
What is it called?
Anyone know which Bluetooth codecs this uses?

Interesting, thanks for sharing!
@@hellraiser-666 yea its weird but i guess maybe cheaper to use that codec. Soundcore x600 use ldac which is apparently a pretty good speaker.
Does it make enough noise?

@@MyTechTalks from what i read on reddit people say gg is best sound cause the speaker is made from paper and other ones are from plastic
