I love that these videos are short and easy to understand, thank you. I have just used instagram for browsing and I don't know why some instagram stories on my macbook has sound and some doesn't. And it is not intentional that the volume is off, you can see that the person is talking but I don't have sound on. why is that?
Not sure - I haven't spent much time watching Stories on a computer instead of the phone. Do the same Stories clips have sound on the phone?

The "return" button for spacing/new paragraph is found through the numbers button (at least on one's iPhone). This means that you can space out your text on an Instagram post

I didn't know HOW to use IG...I did somehow put a series of pics, that cud be watched,(seems)by tapping the main pic.Those pics disappeared. Whaaat happened to them? Now, U can now only see the main pic. ALSO I took a pic of the mtns, while sitting @ my doorway - & now, only that pic is on my screen.I CAN'T GET PAST IT TO GET TO MY MAIN PAGE! What happened?
Hi Layne! It sounds like you put up Instagram Stories rather than Instagram Feed Posts. Stories automatically disappear after 24 hours.
Is that what happened?
If your app is frozen, you can always restart your phone (which you may have already tried).
I am a new user and just set up an instagram account....my pages dont look anything like the examples here, so I have no idea where to start.

Yes, you need to follow someone if you want content in your feed.

I'm guessing you are posting to Instagram Stories? It sounds like you are putting in a photo or video that's over 24 hours old so Instagram adds the date. You can just hold your finger on it and drag it toward the bottom. You'll see a trash can - if you drag it over the trash can it will delete!

Hi, Please please please can you help me I am pulling my hair out and just cannot get around it. I have an Instagram account, lets call it Insta 1, and on the front page in the top right corner there are 3 lines that you can click on and it takes you to the page of Settings-Archive-YourActivity-Nametag etc. I also have another Instagram account, lets call it Insta 2 the only way I can get access to Insta 2 is if I am Insta 1 I click on the magnifying glass to search enter the name of Insta 2 and it appears. Insta 2 has 3 dots on the top right side and when I click on the dots it show a page with Restrict-Block-Report-Hide Your Story. Now the issue is is that I want Insta 2 to be like Insta 1 with the 3 lines, I also want Insta 2 to become a business Instagram page. Here is the other problem, I am trying to log into Insta 2 account from the login page and I have forgotten my login, it was set up years ago overseas and when I say I have forgotten my password it is sending the details to my old work phone in Vanuatu which I no longer have. The problem is that Insta2 is the name I need for my business and I cannot delete the account either. If I could delete and then quickly go back on and create it again the correct way that would be great but I would have to be quick as I don't want anyone taking this name as I have this name for my website & facebook account. I would be so grateful for assistance, I am literally at my wits end with it and have spent more than 6 hours on it today. Warm regards Gabrielle
Hi Gabrielle! Sorry to hear your frustration.
First, you aren't logging into Insta 2, you're only visiting it - that's why you don't have the 3 lines.
To get to Insta 2 you'd need to switch accounts. But since you don't have access to Insta 2 I don't think you're going to be able to. They take account security very seriously, so if you can't access the email and/or phone on file you're out of luck.
I know that's frustrating to hear, but your best bet is to just create a new account. Maybe the old account will eventually auto-delete for being inactive and the username will be come available (although I've not seen Instagram do that yet).
Hi Jerry, thank you so much for taking the time in replying. It all makes sense. I am wondering if there was somehow I could change the contact number that they are sending the message, it currently going to my old number in Vanuatu and I need it to come to my phone in Australia?
Hi again Jerry, it just got weirder. I tried to login again insta2 again and I got in with a password however it comes up as ain't 1. I made sure I logged out of insta1 again and logged into insta2 again successfully but again shows as insta1????

I've heard some people can see # performance for their top 5 under insights. But a friend doesn't see that. Is this something all see or is it not really a thing? Found it on Digitalinformationworld. Seems helpful if anyone can actually see that.
Hey Jacob - Insights are only available for people that have converted to a business profile. Personal accounts can't see it. If you have a business profile you should be able to see all those insights.

Five Minute Social Media I have converted. But the option to see which hashtag specifically isn’t there. Just the total hashtag performance. Not the breakdown mentioned.
@@jacobearnold I understand. I believe that is something they used to show (I know you used to be able to see it in 3rd party software), but they took it away. 😐
