This was very helpful for a beginner. I learned how to place a post, add hashtags, send to specific places, alter the photos and edit, and what's behind the scenes in the brain of the app, plus edit my profile. Well worth my time and I recommend. He is a good teacher.
Thank you for posting this video. I really need to learn all you are teaching. I love all the details you're teaching. You really made my day, so glad I found you! keep up the great work....
Thank you SO much!!!! I needed a super fast way to learn how to utilize IG and this was it. Your video gets directly to the point on what everything is and how to use is without all the "fluff" on some videos. I truly appreciate that.
I downloaded Instagram made a account now they want me to complete my profile and I did but then when I try to add a name then press check it never saves it do you know how to skip the Instagram tutorial?
Thanks for the tutorial. You go kind of fast, but, hey, all a person has to do is stop, play the section again, that I want to hear. I've avoided instagram, even though as a photographer, I was told that I would need it. For two weeks, I've been messing with it. But in just a few minutes, your demonstration answered a ton of my questions. Thanks again.
you probably dont give a damn but does anybody know a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my login password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me!
So far the best tutorial. I like the step-by-step instructions you give. Unfortunately I think your video is already outdated. I need to find a more recent beginners tutorial if one is out here.
Hi I just recently joined and I am only able to post 6 photos, after that they just disappear. I have only followed 3 accounts so far. is it because my account is too new and there are restrictions on how many pictures I post a day or is it based on how much activity the account has as well as how many people I follow and how many likes that I do in order to post more photos? There seems to be no answer on this by searching the internet. Would you please help me with this, thank you
I don't have the same Instagram with all the features that you have in my Android. There is new version of Instagram.? Do I have to download any applications to Instagram to have all the buttons and features that you have?
Anson - I recommend doing this video all over again.. the content is too scattered ... too much covered in too little time. If you truly want to do it 15-minutes, that is fine... then it would be best to stick to top three things (and keep it very very simple) that you want your viewers to learn about to get started with Instagram. As someone who works in corporate learning and development, I have seen most effective training sessions keeping things simple, with 2-3 very clear and crisp takeaways /insights. You will want to give your audience just enough for them to go do something with right away, especially if a relatively short video like this... then they can come back to a Part 2 to learn more about building their profile, etc.. since you got them started in the first video, the second video becomes even more valuable because they will want to complete their profile and take next steps to connect with people. Just my two cents ..
Hi Robin, thanks for the feedback. I will definitely keep it in mind. My business oriented courses on LinkedIn Learning are done more in the style you suggested. I hope you can find videos more tailored to your learning style! LinkedIn courses: www.linkedin.com/learning/instructors/anson-alexander
